Please help!!! Urgent!!! - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
i tried to install Xperia_Ice_Cream_Pureness_build_14 on my phone, i followed the instructions provided as:
.Flash 4.1.B.0.587 ftf using flashtool - I did this but then i realised that ive to flash my phone with the MT11i_4.1.A.0.562_Kernel in order to root it. I rooted it successfully but then forgot to flash the phone using 0.587 ftf.
I proceeded the next steps precisely:
1.Factory reset in cwm
2.wipe cache partition
3.wipe dalvik cache
4.Format /system (in mounts and storage)
5.Format /cache
6.Format /Data
After this step i realised that i had not transfered the below mentioned files (Step 7 & 8) to my SD-Card, as it was not written anywhere...So i switched off my phone to take out the Memory Card
But now my phone is not loading up Only SONY logo comes and nothing happens after it.... PLEASE HELP! My Phone is Dying :'(
7.Install Xperia_Ice_Cream_Pureness_build_13.00.zip
8.Install patch for your phone model
9.Reboot now and you are done !

start from scratch..flash .587fw using flashtool..root..cwm..and this time transfer those files to sd..

[Q] rom install via cwm

Please excuse me as I am new to this....
I have a g2x rooted, nvflashed cwm and installed EaglesBlood build 5. Each time I have installed it after booting the phone into cwm and .... please see remaining post......
clean install of egb
1) Power down phone and restart / boot into clockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.0
2) Select " -wipe data/factory reset -- Wiping data...
Formatting /data...
Formatting /cache...
Formatting /sd-ext...
Formatting /sdcard/.android_secure...
Data wipe complete.
3) Select wipe cache partition -- Wiping cache...
Formatting /cache
Cache wipe complete.
4) Select -advanced
5) Select -Wipe Dalvik Cache E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]

6) Select +++++Go Back+++++
7) Select -install zip from sdcard
8) Select -choose zip from sdcard
9) select -p999_6_26_12.zip
10) Select -Yes - Install p999-6-26-12.zip
Then follow the remainder of the configuration options of the install ( specifying 21y ) as an option and gaps from sd card and then run the installer. Install completes stating " Congratulations...
EaglesBlood has been installed into your devic
Installer Status:0
Can someone please tell me why I have an error " E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]" being displayed after selecting _wipe Dalvik cache. The phone then completes wiping Dalvik cache.'
As stated earlier, the program does install and apprears to run as well as egb build 4
Is there something I need to do to get this issue resolved. I have tried a different sd card as well as then formatting it with cwm and or in my computer (scanned it using win7) for errors and bad clusters, and copied files from my computer to the root on the sd card. I did root, flash CWM using nvflash, do a droid bachup prior to first installing EGB build 4. and now am at a loss as to how to remedy or repair this "unknown volume" issue on a new install.
Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance.
I received that error before while wiping davlik. But only once after I reboot an tried again I never got it again. Am sure you tried that just giving my experience on it

Its normal for are device we don't have sd ext.... That's why it skips over and continues

So it is not dependent on baseband, kernel, rom, etc. It is just a g2x thing, and nothing to be concerned with while moding/flashing various rom's ? :good:

[Problem SOLVE] Please Help Me....

After trying so many way [Flashing Different cROM and GB Kernels, reading different threading] of solving this problem,
I found a solution and my phone is fully awake and usable as usual.
I thought, service center is all that I need
Anyway here are the solution, I Did.
1. Flash KPE [4 files with latona.pit] [errors appears] [Tried to push [Wipe Cache] and [Wipe Data/Factory Reset] No Success
2. Download Mode and Flash LF2 [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22423505&postcount=5] [errors appears]
3. Download Mode and Flash Kernel [Bam custom Kernel - PDA_BCK_CF-Root Universal Beta14fix]
4. I download Ext4 convertor script [From ganeshbiyer] Thanks to him, I guess this is the one who save my phone.
5. This is the hard part, I copied the script to SDcard. I buy MicroSD reader, I remove the MicroSD from the phone and copy the Ext4 convertor script file
6. Boot the phone is CWM [Volume UP+Home+Power], and flash the script,
7. Download Mode and Flash LF2 once again via Odin [error appears]
8. But I just push [wipe cache] and [wipe data/factory reset]
9. Reboot Phone
Then my phone successfully reboot in Stock LF2 :good: .
I hope this could help to anyone who have same problem.

Re: Please Help Me....
You are getting error because your phone is not root. and you are using stock cwm mode. After flashing stock ROM. flash any kernel available for GB.which will root your mobile as well as install cwm5. then install CM9 or CM10.

I didn't partition my memory card in windows., just copy the Ext4 convertor script [From ganeshbiyer] so my SDCard.
and that's it. take you SD card and put it in memory card reader and copy this script.
if you did that, i guess your in deep problem. Maybe you need service center to do that..
Goodluck

[Q] Unresponsive Device - Need some help!

Hello,
im pretty new to rooting and custom roms but managed to root my Pico without a problem yesterday.
After that i installed this custom rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2375229
Using Philz Touch recovery v5.15.0
class 4 8gb sd-card
The steps i took:
Partitioned the card ext3 1gb swap 0
Wipe/factory reset
Flashed the rom
After 10 min at the HTC bootscreen the phone started but was very slow/unresponsive and had all kinda services/apps say "Process.xxx.xxx does not respond" pressing wait i got thru the setup but these problems continue with every app. Internet via mobile/wifi and even internet-pass-through is also very slow.
Im pretty sure there is something i didn't do correct as no one else has this problem.
I hope someone knows what the problem is.
