Andromadus - Test Builds
To start with here you will find test versions of ROMs built by me from the Andromadus github repo http://github.com/Andromadus, think of them along the same concept as nightly builds just not every night These are development ROM's, if you want to run bleeding edge development ROM's and at least know how to use adb and logcat then you might find something of interest here. If you require something that works 100% of the time all of the time then this might not be for you. That said you can always give it a try and if it doesn't work restore your previous nandroid backup!
What IS Andromadus?
Initially it was a group of people who got together to make ICS work on the HTC Desire Z because nobody else seemed to want to support devices with physical hardware keyboards/trackpads. Whilst the idea stays the same It has grown slightly to support some other hardware and some of the work we have done is now used in many other devices. Andromadus builds of CM10 or CM10.1 are basically CM sources with a few additional tweaks or additions to support our phones.
1. New versions will be added as and when I feel there are enough changes to warrant one, don’t ask when the next version is coming.
2. If we decide to release a "Stable" version of these roms they will be published in another Andromadus thread.
Direct all your queries with release versions to that thread and in the same vain do not discuss these releases anywhere but here.
3. I will do as best I can to answer questions but if you don't get an answer from me I'm sure somebody else will be along to help. Help each other and I have more time to spend fixing things!
4. Don't ask for what's changed since the previous version, have a look at the recent submits on the Andromadus github if you want to know or wait for the mini changelogs when I post a new release.
5. If there is something in particular to test it'll be mentioned!
6. As always if you didn't wipe between installations then at least verify that the problem exists on a clean install before posting here. Nandroid/superwipe/install/check at the end of the day you can always restore your nandroid if the problem is reproducible on a clean installation. If you can't be bothered to try this then I really can't be bothered to try to help you :>
7. All that said ensure you make a nandroid/backup before hand. I take no responsibility for what you do to your phone with these ROM.
8. Whilst I can't stop you I would rather these builds were not used as a base for any ROM/MOD/ETC. The source is all available if you want to do your own builds with which you can do whatever you like.
9. Tell us what works/what's worse/what's better but don't ***** when something breaks or isn't fixed yet, report it and move on.
10. Sometimes people forget that we do this for fun, for ourselves, and sometimes your super important issue is way down on our personal list of things to be fixed.
If you ignore any of the above you will in turn be ignored.
Now that's all out of the way as always have fun
As usual you need to flash the ROM then GAPPS.

This a team/community effort, I'll not list everyone who has helped along the way here that list is in the beta thread but I will say thanks to all of them again and obviously anyone that has been missed.

Thanks flinny!
Just installed this rom over AOSP 4.2 v3 with cache&dalvik wipe.
Lockscreen widgets are now not oversized, that's good.:good:
The bug I have is with the AOSP keyboard, it doesn't show up (black screen instead, see the screenshot) and then FCs. Tried clearing data and cache, but it didn't work.

This thread is reserve for nightly build of CyanogenMod Rom for HTC Desire HD
CyanogenMod is a free, community built distribution of Android 2.2 (Froyo) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
Code:
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.
What are Nightly build? Auto compiled build of the latest CyanogenMod source from github. This version change each night and aren't officialy supported.
If you find bugs/issues you can/must discuss here (do not submit nightlies bug on CyanogenMod issue tracker).
Warning : Not for new user, flash this build only if you know what you are doing !!!
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First time flashing CM 6 to your Desire (or coming from another ROM)?
1. Root your device and install Clockwork Recovery.
2. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
4. Install the ROM
5. Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from earlier CM6?
1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)
There are no Google Apps bundled with CM ROMs, because Google asked Cyanogen to remove copyrighted apps, after flashing rom don't forget to flash Google Addon package if you want it.
Latest version: http://mirror.teamdouche.net/?device=ace
before flash is recommended to check the md5sum

What does this mean exactly ? its updated nightly ? or ... haha
a nightly-build contains all the newest changes which come step-by-step.
all the changes will be offered in a new release candidate if there are stable and harmonize.
so if you always want the newest fixes, patches and so on..you have to flash the nightly-builds. but there is no guarantee that it is stable.
if you want a stable build you have to wait for the rc
sorry for my bad english

Team Douche do work on the rom every day. You can see what commitments they make to the code on the git hub. Every night an automated build bot compiles the code into a flashable rom. As stated in the op, these are experimental builds which add new features but may be quite buggy. In my experience with the nexus one they are usually very stable apart from the odd annoying glitch.
Most importantly for bleeding edge lovers like myself you get to check out new features before, often weeks before, people using the stable branch.

But, now Cyanogen has got all organised, at this stage in the cycle i.e prior to release of the stable version it tends to mainly be bug-fixes rather than additional features so in my experience these late nightly release are often better than the RC's on which they are based

hi i'm new to Android and have a few questions. Just flashed this rom and it looked amazing except that I didn't have market or any other apps. Is it just me (do those apps fall under the Google stuff mentioned earlier? yup market, gmail, maps etc come under the GAPPS package which you have to flash after flashing cyanogen mod.
If you sync your contacts to your gmail then it should be restored after entering your account details with the new rom
And it doesn't matter if you install the normal CM and then install the nightly, you can just jump straight into the nightly if you want. As previously stated, normal is a stable release whereas nightly is untested but usually stable.

yes you need to get the google addons for theDHD its HDPI-20101114
http://goo-inside.me/google-apps/
but if you downloaded the rom from rom manger it asks you if you want the google add-ons after the rom as well.
when you install google add-ons sould get your contacts back
only need to do full wipe if you coming from a different rom, eg leedroids rom, if already using CM 6.1 rc2 or rc1 just need to flash the nightly over it.
Thx a lot you both saved my day

This is AOSP-4.0.1-R1, compiled and built for the HTC Sensation 4G (should work on the regular HTC Sensation too).
You can follow progress on Twitter.
Update (11/30/2011): We're not dead! New builds incoming soonish. For now look to the latest pages and grab stoneyjonez' build.
This is a REALLY early build - almost nothing works properly yet.
Huge props and thanks to stoneyjonez for providing and modifying the device configuration for pyramid. Also for continued help/assistance - we're basically working on this together.
This is the *development thread* - please go here for discussion and help flashing it. If you are about to tell us "X device has ICS, you should use their ROM!", put it in the god damn discussion thread. DO NOT post it here.
Credits:
- CM7.1-SELFKANG-Alphafied 10 for HTC Sensation, for providing some libs, device configuration and a clean AOSP-ish ROM
- AOSP, obviously
- stoneyjonez for device config
- Practically everyone in this thread (the SDK port for the Sensation)
- dsixda's kitchen, for making the packaging easier.
Working:
- Boots
- Displays some graphics (though they are torn diagonally and basically unusable)
- Hardware controls (volume up/down)
- TOUCHSCREEN, as of this post (Touches won't release yet, though)
Not working:
- Almost everything else
DO NOT FLASH THE RECOVERY IMAGE. We don't know what it does just yet.
Proper downloads:
test1 (AOSP, booting!): http://www.mediafire.com/?my054essk6g0le6
test3 (AOSP): http://www.mediafire.com/?8ynyror6mnkk5x1
test3.1 (AOSP kernel, rooted + busybox): http://www.mediafire.com/?e86zfv4avaxlo26
TEST3 won't boot or output to adb... cookies to anyone who can figure out why. I'm going to try and fix the touchscreen in test1, uploadable zip of test1 coming soon.

So far two directly working on it, though probably like 8 if you count everyone in the SDK port thread.
Just got the stats for how long a full build takes for me:
real 72m53.054s
user 224m22.581s
sys 11m14.934s
This is with 8GB of RAM, though I probably have to downgrade to 6GB of RAM soon (someone else needs one of my 4GB sticks )
Nice job, its good to see more development happening here, it may be worth keeping an eye on the touchpad devs progress too due to their similar chipset

I know OP said they were in a rush, and I'm not trying to be a jerk at all, but if you don't have the time to post even the tiniest bit of info (literally anything at all would help...anything at all) then by all means just wait til you have the time and avoid the inevitable posts asking for clarification.
Personally, a pretty looking thread isn't important to me. I just need the meat and potatoes so I can tell if it's worth downloading.

I think you should've just waited till you had more time man. "Cyanide X" - tells everyone absolutely nothing. You had the time to tell other users what it is throughout the thread, you should've had time to put something in the title/first post. Prepared to deal with your rom/thread!
Checkout http://andromadus.flinny.org for links/files/previous changelog's
This a team/community effort, I'll not list everyone who has helped along the way here that list is in the beta thread but I will say thanks to all of them again and obviously anyone that has been missed.
Current Version changelog
CM10 build 133
There was an issue with the backup tool in the last build that will break gapps and your account's etc when flashing this build, the solution is to re-flash gapps at the same time as the rom and you should be fine. This build should fix it so that the next build will work as it should
Changes.
Synced with CM - Again not many changes upstream.
Basically everything relevant to our phones up to the 4th of February in the following has been merged

SamSation Port
This ROM has been ported from the Desire S with permission from KernelDev101. The original rom was called SamSation.
I've got a port that boots up fine; but I still need testers for it. Thanks to Deadman____(sorry forgot the numbers) for letting me know it boots up.
I also think that WiFi doesn't work. If someone could compile kernels or flash different kernels to see which one gets it working that'd be awesome too.

Forgot to mention. Go to the the desire s forum and fond the saga sation rom thread.
It should have this thing called the so launcher. Flash that to get tw home to stop FC.
Also for Wi-Fi I don't think I could really do much all we have to do is Flash new kernels. Also USB mount isn't working?

Sketchy
You know I'm not going to just stop sharking the forums even when I'm content with the bugs in my phone. In the CM10 Jellybean ROM forum I saw you direct someone else here. Lead me into seeing you've made a modified slimbean kernel. I'm going to take it for a spin once my phone charges back to full.
I'll let you know my results, although I am no coder, I surely have been through enough of these 4.3 roms to know my way around. You know~

Aw shiz. Sorry about that. I'll fix it, thats why I have testers yay!
EDIT: Added new version of the kernel. Hopefully it flashes now. Link ---> http://goo.gl/RYR9q9
My Carbon ROM port
I had made a Carbon rom which I ported from the Doubleshot. I didn't formally release it because Coderzs had built one from source so I didn't feel the need since source roms are much better. Nevertheless, I'll put it out in case anyone wants to try it. I know it boots up, I don't remember if wifi works, but I think it does...

My AOKP Port
I ported AOKP from the DHD a really long time ago but never released it because the Wi-Fi didn't start. Yeah sucks eh? But if anyone wants it here it is. It boots up for sure
Its the last version to be compiled for the Desire HD, June 24th I think.

No worries

It's alright. I'll give it a shot now.

Phone boots, so far everything is working like normal. I don't always listen to music through the Glacier but I have been for the last hour just to test the heat. I even took the protective cover off so I could feel the actual phone. So far it's a cool as always especially around the battery and the headphone jack itself.
The screen flicker is still alive, which I know you weren't trying to address, but the screen does stay illuminated black the entire time I'm listening to music. Nothing unusual for this phone with any 4.3 JB ROM. If you keep making mod's I'll keep testing them. This weekend I'm going on a motorcycle trip so my internet effing off will be limited. Although next week I'll be all over guinea pig mode.
Is there anything else I should be looking for specifically in this mini-build of yours?

JellyTime For Glacier
JellyTime is a version of Cyanogen 10.1 and 10.2. Its developed by RandomBlame over at the DHD threads so go thank him.
I will release a test version of the rom to confirm wifi is working, then I'll start porting the rom every 2 weeks.
I'll port his 4.2.2(11) then his 4.3 builds.
