Reverse tethering made easy
STEPS:
1.download the files to corresponding devices.( PC to computer and apk to phone)
2.Extract the pc component.
3.Install the apk file.
4.Ensure the usb Debugging is on.
5.connect the phone via USB
6.open the 'android tool' from the pc component.
7.USB tunnel app will open on its own.
8.now select the device and click connect.
9.Now you can enjoy the superfast broadband on yor mobile.

Problem with Custom ROM for Micromax A110
Hi,
I have MicroMax A110 with me. I had tried to Install the custom ROM Radeon on it and was successful in installing it too. But, after Installation, everything was working fine other than the fact that the WIFI stopped working. I actually had to restore back to my earlier ROM from Backup.
Tried to post the comment on that ROM page. But was denied rights as I am a new user to XDA forums.

But would suggest go for JMP Rom it's more stable and smooth.. using it from a week.. and still no issues.

Make sure you have selected USB debugging.. DOnt click on USB storage or anything..Just connect.to PC ...then start software ... refresh list of devices...You will get it..

First of alll i am sorry for my bad english...
I have a Karbonn A1 device non rooted....with stock rom and stock recovery..
But Few days ago I got all software such as the rom flashing tool i.e."Common Downloader" and also the stock rom files such as recovery.img, userdata.img, system.img etc. I also downloaded stock rom files of Sony Ericsson W8..... so while installing stock rom on my Karbonn A1... I replaced Karbonn's system.img with Xperia w8's system.img..... while installing at 91% it showed "download fail"..... and my device restarts...
Now my device has started but system force closes after every 2 seconds.... When I think to again install the stock rom back.... My computer does not showing COM Port of my device... also my stock recovery is working..... So Pls pls pls ps Help If any one knows how to solve this problem.....

You guys can ask someone with the same phone to put their phone in download mode and copy recover.img and give it to you , put your phone in download mode and paste the file. Your recovery is back and if you've any knowledge about linux you can port your own rom check out the how to port thread on ideos x6 development thread on xda.

hey guys i made some disasters in my A87 and now after i used restore factory the last time, all my apps vanished except a few like music,sound recorder etc. I did swipe data in recovery mode. on using a "factory update.zip" file, it shows "signature verification failed" and "installation aborted". since there is no explorer apps i cannot browse my sd card nor can i install any other app. plz help how to disable signature verification..

I am very thankful to XDA as i got so many questions solved in here from past.
earlier i was using xperia mini pro. I had rooted, opened boot loader, changed ROM, kernel , finally i made a ftf backup in such a way that what ever the software problems MAY BE DEAD/HARD BRICK i use to flash set with ftf file and my tiny set is up.
I am happy that all these i have achieved because of XDA i am again thank full to XDA and all tecs helping here and the members who are raising good questions and new ideas.
Now i have purchased micromax a100 can any body help with the below things please
1. I want to backup my stock firmware like explained in below link for xperia mini pro (*** not stock ROM. because boot fails we can't load ROM)

there is one issue which i met was;
when i started .bat file it asked me "please press any key to continue" and according to instruction i waited for mobile reboot and it never happened. finally i came to know that for first time we should not wait for reboot of mobile.:good::good::good:

i bought micromax a100 before 3 weeks and now it stopped working. it is not woking, just showing blank screen. i tried android recovery mode, but from there also not able to factory reset the phone. it gives me error system mounting failed. any idea how to make it working? i think device not able to find root partition.

For this reason only i am trying to find one or the other way in which we can directly flash MM a100 from computer without need of any root or some thing like that and it is possible only if,
1. need some flash tool (like SE flash tool for Soney Ericssion)
2. some procedure to extract entire firmware from mobile including the boot loader condition etc which can be directly written to chip.
but if you have not tried try the bellow link once it also may save your droid !!!!

When i pulled out my battery is not booting, its stays idle in the black screen. Now i desperately need the stock ROM for my phone. Hi Aftab actually i typed a reply and gave submit, but i am unable to see that in thread as well as sent folder also, any way let me retype again,
I am happy, yes yes finally your idea of that pda net worked for my MMX A100 and I have installed the CWM, but one suggestion if any one is using this pda net method let them try with the version 2.xxx because i took latest version and sucked for 2.5 hours, and also i have installed pda net same version manually on mobile because system was unable to install it to my mobile
Also one more request if you have CM7 custom rom for MMX A100 please let me know because till today what ever i have used i found CM7 as comfortable and stable.
I am doing backup of my rom and i will inform you in next week about the behaver of phone after installing this CWM.
any way still my final goal of the thread not completed i will contact you again, thanks thanks let me know if i can hit one more thanks for you i will do that.:highfive::highfive::highfive:

You can give this a shot. Honestly, 3rd party manufactured phones rarely attract dev attention for root methods. You're best bet will be generic many-root type scripts/programs. Another option (If you can find a phone that is rooted and support USB On the Go) would be this method. Hope it helps a bit!

i tried the unlocker root it worked.
google it you would get it.
just try to connect your phone using usb to pc.
do not press any thing mass storage or anything.just leave it for few seconds it will start usb debugging tha adb driver will install automatically.
now install unlocker root and root your phone it takes 2-5min for rooting.
enjoy.

Hi , tried installing it, I m new to playn with android setup, When I plug in my device and try to install the adbinstaller it says incorrect driver .. I can't do anything beyond this as this is the basic step .. ( I m on win8 ) I googled for solution the entire night with hardly any luck .. I aint getn ahead of the 1st step .. What's the solution .. Can u gimme step by step instructions , mate help needed desperately .. Cheers

Hey Bro. I know I've taken a lot of time in responding cuz' I was really busy anyways this is for the one with the cam in the center.
I guess there are some firmware changes in the new version.

Bro Make Sure USB Debugging is enabled to do so go to Settings > Developer > USB Debugging > Enable Debugging.
