Hey!
I've got a strange problem with my device.
Im using the program Connectify in my student housing to host wifi for my note and my htc one x.
My htc just works perfect with it but my note loses connection after ~2 minutes. It is still connected to wifi but i cant access the internet. Sometimes i can only watch youtube vids (LOL?) and nothing else.
When im using wifi at home or at university, theres no problem at all.
Okay, easy you think, its Connectifys fault. But why my smartphone hasnt got this problem?? Its working perfect...
Do you think my notes wifi adapter is bugged? Should i return it??

Hi guys,
Got the tab since Saturday and testing it.
Now I got issues with the gyro.
If I try to play marble maze or use smart tools apk to measure levels the tab doesn't react correctly.
If I tilt front/back the marble/bubble goes left /right.
If I tilt left/ right the marble/ bubble goes front back.
Anyone has the idea for the issue ?

I've got the same with some racing games. A lot of games are unplayable. It's very very annoying...this tablet has a lot of strange things

I returned my tablet for a new one due to my gyro problems.
Just to make sure, did you already try to reset your tablet via the pinhole? (It didn't for me, but that was a troubleshooting step in the manual.)

You can try to calibrate the sensor using Advanced Tools
Go to Device->Sensor Analyzer->Accel, then put the tablet on a flat surface and hit Reset

I've tried everything but it doesn't seen to work. I will gave it back, also i received today my ordered a700. This looks much better and doesn't have the sensor bug.

I have rooted Nexus 5 kit kat 4.4.2 stock build number KOT49H. I looking for a way to tweak wpa_supplicant.conf to enable adhoc wifi on my device. I have searched for different method on internet but none of them are for Kit Kat 4.4.2. if anybody can help me with that I'll greatful.

Hi,
As far as I understand, ADHOC is to enable you to share your connection via WIFI. If this is the case, you just need to go to Tethering & portable hotspot on the Wireless & Netwoks/More menu and enable the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
If you need anything else, let us know.

I pretty much want to do it the other way round.
I want to join an adhoc network with my phone.
For example my laptop creates an adhoc network and is sharing it's Internet connection with it.
Now I can use the Internet connection on my phone...

hi guys.
first of all im very happy with this phone, extremely fluid near the stock android experience.
but i would like to know if im not the only one with this "little problem".
sometimes while using the phone (it happened only 3 times), i remember while im downloading an app, like a game (2 gb for example), sometimes it stuck, the phone become unresponsive, connection (wifi) turns off, the speaker makes a strange sound (like buzz), and then after a bunch of seconds the phone return back, wifi reconnet, and the app (game or other) starts download.
anyone with this?

Does anyone have a solution to the slow WiFi on mtcd units?
I'm running on malaysk ROM and TomTom needs to update maps on WiFi. Last time it took about 6 hours ! To download 5.7 GB trough WiFi. In comparison to my phone on the same spot, it took only 20 minutes.
The WiFi antenna is placed behind the headunit, so literally IN the dashboard, maybe that is causing the extremely low speed? I don't see a way to move the antenna really.
I would consider using an usb dongle just for downloading maps in the future of that would fix the issue ? Does anyone know of that will help?

I had the same issue. I just download updates on my computer. I even tried hotspot off my phone. My headunit has always been this way since new.

How can you download the maps in your PC with TomTom mobile go ?

They have programs for map updates. I don't know if tomtom offers it or not. Mine update through naviextra, I believe it is called. It use igo for the GPS software. You can often find them online too and if you license is valid you just copy the new maps over and they should work. Just do a backup first.

I have a really annoying issue while using my running app Endomondo. If i start running, i normally gets every kilometer an anouncment of the time per km and in total. Since I use my Mix 3 the announcment are pretty inaccurate! For example yesterday I run 8km, the app told me at the end it was just ~6km...don't know what is wrong. Any idea to solve the problem!?

How accurate is it when you review the run on the map? Is it tracking the actual path or is it hopping all over and cutting corners?

He is cutting corners, and when the GPS comesback the line is more a bee line....it seems that the mix 3 is lossing the signal!

Yes GPS issues for sure on this phone. Annoying especially for a phone that is supposed to have good GPS.

Any chance to fix the issue? With this issue it makes no sense to use the phone for running

Install the app to the system if rooted, had a similar issues on the mi5 with endomondo a long time ago

Phone is not rooted. Tryed Endomondo for a run a few minutes ago, and what should I say, all was good with the tracking, same distance like my Galaxy S7 edge. I have changed battery savings restrictions to no restrictions and I have updated this evening to global 10.2.1.0 so don't know if the solution is because of the change in the battery settings or because of the update to the latest Miui!
