Manu Cornet, a Googler and cartoonist, drew the picture above on November 30, a representation of the evolution of Android. The drawing starts with Cupcake, moves onto Donut then Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean then Key Lime Pie. It’s cute, right? Check out the last drawing. That looks to me like Bugdroid eating a slice of Key Lime Pie, the oft-rumored name of the next version of Android. Its its confirmed that its not only a rumor..but we can't say much. Check the the post on google+ below :
Is this a confirmation of the name? Might be. Might not be, either. But since it’s from a Google employee, we certainly thought it was worth sharing.

Samsung has begun quietly rolling out the long-desired Android 4.0 update for the Galaxy Note. When it arrives, it'll add the latest edition of Google's OS and the "Premium Suite" full of stylus S-pen friendly apps like S Note, Shape Match and My Story to your 5.3-inch phablet. The company is yet to confirm the launch, but several European users are already on the ICS bandwagon, with others expected to join soon -- but let's be honest, it's gonna feel like decades until that blessed notification pops up. It looks like Samsung has revised its list of devices that will be eligible to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich that so many of you lust after. In total, 4 devices were added to the list — two phones and two tablets — all of which are fairly well-known devices I’m sure more than a few of you own. For phones, it looks like owners of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G and Galaxy S II can breathe a collective sigh of relief. Your investment will pay off. You will be getting Android 4.0. Source : OMGDroid Unfortunately, we don’t have a time frame on when these devices will get updated, but hey — at least you know now it’s coming, right? Make sure to stay tuned. As soon as these updates go live, we’ll be sure to let you know.
OK, so I get Cupcake, Donut(sic), Éclair, Gingerbread and Jelly Bean, but surely Honeycomb is not food, unless you like eating wax (there's no accounting for taste, I suppose), and an Ice Cream Sarnie sounds positively disgusting (wouldn't the bread go all soggy?). As for "Froyo", I have no idea what that is, but it doesn't sound much like food, it sounds more like a character from a Lord of the Rings story.
I hear the next one is going to be called Key Lime Pie, which begs the question: why would you need a key for a pie? But hey, at least it's actually food (I presume).
I propose calling the next version after that Flummery Pudding, just because it's so silly.

Seeing as though most of the other Android platform version logos have been "end user designed" I thought it might be a good idea to start seeing some ideas for the new Kew Lime Pie logo.
This is just something I threw together while bored on a Sunday

I want to see other peoples ideas though.
This one isn't mine, but is good anyway
