I have here a modified version of XLOUD+BEATS By RockoDev, I edited his script a little and fixed the bug on his port, now all apps should be compatible with xloud and beats audio
(NOTE: THE ZIP IN RockoDev's Thread will make apps force close and is not 100% working for SGY)

having a backup of your current ROM before install this will solve this problem. it won't harm you. believe me
btw, I've see the installation files. this mod add some file into /bin, /etc, /framework, and /lib under /system. it will also replace some file under /system/etc/audio but i thought they're just audio setting file. it seems this mod is safe. I'll give a shot.

honestly when trying to uninstall by deleting the installed files from system will make situations a lot worse, during testing phase of the fix i found out several values were incorrect for the settings on our SGY, so i had to remove them and manually flash it again, that made it work,
anyways, can anyone else verify this fix?
any issues/incompatibilities?

you put a *jar file in the /framework. it block any application who acces some sound lib. now I can't acces proplayer's equalizer setting. my dsp manager is forced close too (lol)
btw, i thought the old beats audio works better. to be honest, your mod seems improve some aspect in sound quality but it doesn't give any bassbost at all. its good for accoustic. but I'm used to hear a lot of rock music. no bassboost is a bad news for me. sorry.

bassboost is acually available as you can see in some of the files
\system\etc\soundimage
\system\etc\
\system\lib\soundfx
\system\lib\
try using a different audio device or a HQ audio device

in my case it seems that your b1.jar is block acces for any application who use those file. I'm testing it with proplayer and it said that another application is block the acces

thats not necessary...i'm using my own custom rom. just need to reinstall it. it only need less than a minute

recording FM Radio a poss ?
I wonder whether "beats" is useful to record directly FM radio audio somehow. with Gingerbread that is not possible without use of native SDK afaik.

Please make ZPlayer work. It opens but doesnt play any music and slows down the system. Need to be killed to get back to normal.

Must be a placebo effect. Froyo (Specially stock) doesn't support equalizers..

No, DSP still doesn't work, at least for me. And installing Volume+ isn't a solution (and to be honest, I barely notice any changes while using it..)

same with me....DSP FC's....
but i found a guys comment on the original thread about this DSP issue and i found that the DSP FC issue is due to one file called libaudioeffect_ini.so
I haven't tried it....maybe we can remove that file from the zip and then flash it....
But it must be first time flash.....we cant get DSP working by doing this after DSP FC's.

Hi folks,
The Voodoo sound app doesnt support sgsl gt-i9003. Have you guys found any alternatives for it.
I am not satisfied with the volume and bass output of the phone on my Sennheiser HD201 Headphones. Hence I am looking for apps to boost the output.
I know voodoo doesnt support our phone's hardware so I am looking for alternative solutions. Please post if you know of any.

thanks for magabassbeats mod. i installed it from recovery mode but dont see any app installed in applications. Is it supposed to have GUI or is it just like a driver so no GUI.

It doesnt work with all the music players
Use google play music and enable in awesome beats app

This is not my work, but a personal editing that I did based on the mod created by AC! D TEAM; It works great on both Sammy rom and AOKP / AOSP.
If you want to try, of course, at your own risk (sorry, but I have to specify it).
Personally, I always use it and I am very satisfied.

lee's file in general section worked fine for me on rr v3 ls7
just make sure you have enough space in system before flashing it.
go to sounds- music effect enable it
then enable in app in app drawer , mine doesnt ask for upgrade though

I think it's a matter of free space in the system; however, I only use this package and has never given me problems ...: (
If you can not resolve, you may delete the cache of applications that conflict and then delete them manually ...

Hey, after flashing the AwesomeBEATSv3.zip
Go to Settings->Sound -> music effects -> select Awesome Beats
then in your app drawer go to awesome beats set settings as wanted
the best settings for me are
Speaker - Beats Boost - Enabled and Slight effect strength
- Beats Equalizer - enabled and preset to vocal booster
Headset - Dynamic Range Compression - Enabled and moderate
Beats Boost - Enabled and moderate
Beats Equalizer - Enabled and preset to bass booster and loudness compensation disabled
Headset virtual room effect - Enabled and room type to stage

I cant play music via any music player for 5 to 10 mins.. vibrates and force closes.. no way to fix or uninstall..
Disabled the noozoxide and nooz player in application manager but no use...
Please help me to get rid of this problem...

Deletes the cache of applications, then use a file manager and delete them (the applications) from "system\app"; reboot in recovery mode and delete cache/davilk cache.
I hope this helps, otherwise you should delete / restore all the dll...
But what rom are you using? I have never had any problem with the roms used...

Do not use it, probably that rom has integrated some other sound mods that is in conflict with this ...

audioengine vs awesomebeats... which is better?
can we install both?

Force closes on every music player I tried Stock, Google Play, and Walman app.
On RRv3 - Awesome Beats was made for RR so don't think its the ROM at fault.

[Solved] Problem with Acid Audio Engine v7 and note2

[Fix]
(Please check the 4th post for the fix.)
I installed the latest acid audio engine from the official xda thread on my note 2 and my dads s3, both with stock, rooted 4.1.2 firmware. My dads worked a treat whereas mine has a problem.
No matter which music program I try, my music will not play or wont give me any sound or will just make my phone crash. I want to uninstall it all now just so I can listen to my music.
Will simply using titanium backup work or is it a bit more complicated?
I know I should have done a backup before installing it but I thought it would be safe since it worked fine with the s3.
Lesson learned for next time lol.
P.S
I would have posted this on the thread for the acid mod but I still have a low post count.

Little update. I downloaded the all in one toolbox 17 tools from google store and stopped both the acid engine and clearaudio+ from starting up. This has fixed my problem and I now get music playing. I'm going to reactivate the acid audio mod to see if it still works on next restart.

Re activated the acid audio engine mod and restarted...
Music still working!
I guess clearaudio+ is the culprit. Just to make sure, I'll re activate it and test again.

Result:
Right, the clearaudio+ IS the problem. When I attempted to play music with it turned on, I got no sound and the phone froze when I loaded up the keyboard.
So, here's how to fix the Acid Audio Engine v7 problem(s)
Your device must be rooted.
Download and install https://play.google.com/store/apps/...tm_medium=organic&utm_term=all+in+one+toolbox from the play store
Once installed, open it and click on tools, scroll down and select Boot Speedup. Press System, then scroll until you find the clearaudio + service and press the blue dot so it goes grey.
Restart your device and your done!
I'm still unsure if you will be safe to remove clearaudio + with titanium backup, if your willing to test please share your results!
