I used paid rom toolbox to change the fonts on my rasbean jelly 11/6 marmite kernel set up. Is it possible that the font can make the phone slugish or laggy? Not sure if its me or the font?
Have you tried running with the default or any other kernel just to verify that it isn't the kernel?

I had actually just finished flashing the latest marmite kernel..... Maybe its just me... Felt a little slugish

My phone doesn't play nice with marmite and the only fonts I've used have been standalone flashable zips. I've never had an issue with fonts causing lag.

Hi there
I also installed the UK official room but was not able to instal touchwiz 1.4 or 1.5...
Just for the record my phone was rooted using dr Ketan's method.
I reverted to Lp9 open Singapore and rooted without any problem and thus installed the latest TW 1.5.1 which is awesome!
Good luck!

Been using tw1.5.1 for a couple of days now on lq2. This is the version I'm using. https://www.box.com/s/00cc5268211e6cc41d6a have installed on 2 other Notes too. This version has 5x6 icons in app drawer.
It is already included and working in Rocket Rom, I copied all related files from App folder to my ROM but unfortunately not working
I tried this on lq2 but I failed to get it to work.
I installed the zip via cmw and I also tried by putting the files into system with no luck, I also set permissions :-(

Did you delete something from the system first to make space for it? Removing a live wallpaper should do. There's insufficient space on the system to install it without removing something first.

I am Using TouchwizUX 5x5 1.4 On My LQ2{ROOT REQUIRED}
Original Thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668999
Thank Em!
Its very smooth
Setup
> Flash it with CWM
> If you dont have CWM use Root Explorer or ES File Manager
* Copy the files From system/app folder in zip to /system/app
* Copy the file from system/lib folder in zip to /system/lib
Then reboot
don't copy days.apk if you are experiencing battery drain
This one works for me without issues Im currently on LQ2 + speedmod kernel. I just wanned to have a launcher so injected 2 files into system directory.

What version of instigatorx are you using? I had graphic glitches as well but that was with an older version of the kernel, updated to 5.0/5.1 and it went away. :good:
Yeah, I am using 4.0b (Was working properly before CM9 went beta)
I reinstalled Beta 1 CM9, and the problem went away, will update kernel to 5.0/5.1 right away
Thanks
Heeter
i personally like 132 DPI but cannot play other games while on this DPI
also 132 crashes the official ics 4.0.4 and brings me to a bootloop.
what is your personal preference when it comes to DPI? what DPI are you using?
Problems encountered.. what ROM are you using?
I'm using 140 now and its even more compatible with apps compared with 132

Has it been confirmed that it is not possible to change the DPI setting on tab plus with rooted ICS4.0.4?
You can easily change the dpi in ROMs like CM 10, PA 2.5.
Anything other than stock ROMs will let you change dpi.
You can refer to this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30396058
it would be nice if the nice developer build a oc kernel for stock rom.
device : samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 (P-5100)

My rom is the official CM 7.2 stable. I flashed a few 3rd party kernels (Faux, Trinity etc) without making a backup first and now I wish to back to the original stock CM 7.2 kernel. Is there a simple way to do it?
I do have adb, if that works can someone give me the commands? Or a flashable zip would be beyond godly.
Thanks.
Easiest way would be to reflash CM 7.2 stable...

Yup, just wipe cache and reflash and you should keep all your settings and apps.
Hope this helped!

I always wondered why isn't there Roman default kernel in a zip flashable form floating around on the web.
It's much easier to flash a kernel than to flash the ROM.
