[App] ICS 4.0.4 "Launcher 2.apk"

ONLY FOR ANDROID 4.0.4 BASED ROMS!
For those of you looking for the closest to stock experience here is the STOCK android 4.0.4 launcher.
It runs well, better than trebuchet in my opinion.
Instructions for installation:
1) copy to root of your SD card
2) push to system/app using any root explorer
3) set permissions to rw-r--r--
4) REBOOT
5) enjoi.
Notes: I don't recommend installing by directly opening the package on your device. It will cause a plethora of force closes.

Follow the instructions but don't just click on the apk in your phone.

No settings, that's the Google way . This is mainly for enthusiasts who know the ins and outs of Android, it's a great launcher to make custom mods to.

What i did -
1. Unrar the file and copy the apk file
2. Copy to system/app folder
3. Change permission to rw-r-r
restart phone.

In stock browser go to settings/advanced/user agent and change it to desktop and voila the mediafire will work.

i am on ice still didnt work .........

it is a system app, use root explorer or terminal or something to put it in /system/app and change the permissions to 755 (rw-r--r--) and it will work. probably not correctly.

Long press S-Voice.apk and press permissions.
Set them to:
r-w
r
r
Reboot.

I replaced my Twwallpaperchooser.apk with one that was modified to allow the hidden wallpapers, but ever since then my livewallpaper, deep sea keeps crashing.
I'm looking to go back to the original one.

Touchwiz on CM7

I have the new CM7 on my GFit and I tried to install touchwiz (I used the original apk) by copying it in the system/app folder and setting permissions but it didn't work. Is there any guide or anyone who knows how to install it?

Use the default touchwiz launcher from creeds rom 3.5 , its working great

It didn't work: I took the apk, placed it in system app, set the permissions and installed but nothing.
I think I'll return to a stock-based rom..

There -was- a heavily kanged and unstable stock kitchen build similar to what you are looking for... but... well in short, the guy just pulled it a few weeks ago.
You weren't missing anything, it was unstable, unmaintained, and unworth your time to flash.
Your best bet is to find those apk's (launcher, s voice, and s memo) using that nifty search feature and push them to your choice of stock based rom (my preference on that would be tweaked using the stock kernel).
Keep in mind that the launcher won't be perfect (i'm assuming you will end up with smando's).

You have to unzip and install like a normal app I think (it's been awhile).
For the widgets you have to push to /system/app

If you have it in /system/app touch to install it again (seems weird here but it works) - then delete it from /system/app. Reboot.
You should have it there since you installed via cwm zip. Let me know how that works out.

Guys... I recommend using Paranoid Android with changing DPI per app. Also some apps aren't going to work because of the framework files... until you go specifically fix the files for each app.

Yeah, since smando's was made for ICS. If you are on JB you need a different version.

I need help, I installed that zip in cwm, it totally wiped my imei, I made a backup tho and was able to save my phone, how can I fix it when I tried pushing to system, I open the launcher and it force closes

That's weird, I've flashed that zip many different times and never had any issue, let alone an imei issue.

I pushed to system, changed the permissions, then I went to cwm, flashed it, went through the aroma installer, I install it to SD ext, should I install to nandroid possibly, can you make a video of you installing it
