Has anybody been able to get Jet Set Radio working? Was just released yesterday.
I loved this game on my Dreamcast, and the game play is simple enough that it could work well on a mobile device, but it just crashes after the loading screen for me. I think it's supposed to download additional data in addition to the 600mb Play store download, but it never does. Frustrating. App info said it was 1.75gb

i bought it on my motorola droid 3 it doesnt work crashes at title. i tried it on my original droid it works i can even use my ps3 controller with it lol
It's working fine for me. I had to clear out some space to get past the "prepairing" screen, but now it works fine. Might see if it works with the Moga controller, I'm not a big fan of the touch controls.

Was playing around with the system dump form the play and put the bruce lee apk onto my r2d2 and it loads and works but no picture just black screen we need some devs on this asap i need some good bruce lee action in my life
It may not work at all. I installed it on my CM7 mytouch 4g and it loads up fine, it asks to connect to wifi, then it asks if i want to download 'data'(I assume game files or something), but it tells me to press 'x' or 'o'. So you're going to have to do some key mapping if you want this to work properly.
yea need to work on that cause it shows back button as the x button but i need the gameplay to display everything else works menu sound all but the game itself its a blackscrren need the devs to get cracking on it i guess here it is if anyone wants it instead of going through the system dump

what about using a phone that has a hard keyboard? oh wait nevermind, you have a droid2 i think.
I can install the .apk, run it and I get a rotating Ying Yang in the middle of the screen w/ Bruce in the background, then it asks if I want to download data, and then it freezes.
Does anybody have the Crash Bandicoot APK? I'd like to have a mess with it.

Hi everyone,
I bought the xperia play in France few days ago and in my country the preloaded game is Syphon Filter.
I would like to have crash bandicoot but he isn't available in the market can someone upload the apk please ?

Is anyone else having problems with backstab hd. I can install the game and the welcome film clip starts. Then the screen goes black and goes back to my home screen :-/

hmm, have you tried after that happens holding the home key and then relaunching it that way?

i couldnt get it to work for days
so why can u launch it that way then and not normal?
I purchased Modern Combat 2 and then needed to redownload it.
It was removed from the market so I called Gameloft and they gave me Backstab. I just tried it and it worked for me.
You should also get Spiderman. It is awesome.
The same thing happens to me with BackStab HD.
finally got Backstab, the only problem i have with it is that it makes me watch the startup video each time, like i cant skip it. pressing circle just pauses it and brings me back to homescreen then it continues when i launch the game again.
annoying, putting me off playing it lol.

Instead of skipping I tried watching it and it still closed after the video was done?
To skip it you need to tap on the screen then a little "forward" button comes up. then click that

I have tried everything in this thread and it still closes. I even watched the whole video when it is done it just closes.
I have got into the same issue as you with backstab.
I read somewhere that this problem may be the activation of the game. For the activation mechanism you must have an Internet connection on your mobilephone at the first start of the game.
I first started the game without an internet connection, so i had the same problem as you. The only thing I could do, was to reinstall backstab and to redownload the SD data. Then I started the game with an Internet connection. After the skip or end of the video, I had to wait 10 seconds before the progress bar appears.
This solved that issue for me.

Hmm I see it as well it is in the xperia play app/ game launcher.
I know this is a really old thread, but i didnt want to open a new one just for this.
I bought backstab from gameloft and when i opened it, it came up with a message saying "this game is incompatible with your device. Please request a refund"?
Why am i getting this, is anybody else getting this?
I have a R800i on 2.3.4 in the UK

What version you use? Try older version if you can find or have your device using custom kernel.
try this and it doesn't matter which version you are using
i finally managed to get the game working
this is what i did first of all i uninstalled the cf3d driver after restart i went into manage application than i cleared the data from chainfire3d than i unistalled the chainfire3d after i restarted my phone than i went into market and than i downloaded chainfire3d free version and i instaled the nvidia plug-in and than i went into default opengl settings and than i chose nvidia plug-in and than i ticked reduce texture size(3rd option).
but you might have to tick the first option reduce texture quality and than i closed the software and i launched the game and it worked properly.
reply back if the game dont work for you ill try alternative methods for you all.

heres the plugins list including shader for riptide game just install them
by going into chainfire 3d then look for install plug-ins after 2-3 mintues its gonna bring 4 files which will show Nvidia, Qualcom, Poweramp
well sometings like that and just click on them it will install them and after go into
default opengl settings(if you have free version) otherwise go into per-app opengl and choose the shadow gun game and choose nvidia plugin and tick reduce texture size and close it.
than load the game you are ready to go.

well i guess this is how it is
the only reason i made this thread is because i had very difficulty getting the game run but after trying different method my suggesetd method worked and i thought if anyone having a bad time running this game can check this method and run the game.
It seems likely that ROM choice will also make a difference to how (or if) the game runs properly without having to install additional drivers - so comes as no great surprise to me that it works for some and not for others.
Give me some credit Shery4life, I gave you some help on this subject

Hey man, thanks for all the work u have done. U see the game still does not work after i did all that u said. The game loads until the menu screen. After i click play , the video is shown but after that the game will either hang or the colors are all messed up. Yeah so basically the game hangs and will not let me even exit the app. Please help me if u can.

In my experience, I just downloaded the apk and let the downloader download whatever files it needed took two minutes then the game ran fine. and it has pretty nice quality too. WE dont need Tegra crap to run games like these.
but those who are having problems good luck. Also,
offtopic, i bought games from gameloft using my paypal back in the day from gameloft mobile website, is there a way to redownload them?
They recently updated shadow gun to run with more devices. Installed it yesterday and it is running flawlessly.

Yep, I installed it without Chainfire 3D and it works perfectly.
You guys playing the version from the market .. later on in the game due you see the same graphic crash like in samurai?? Around level 4

have you got the chainfire3d loaded with nvidia plugins and setting set to lower. if you have and the game still dont work than i guess there is something else that is creating the problem best thing to do is download the new version from market and the version is 1.0.3 and its $5 beside
Why do you guys need to play around with chainfire for this game to work? I'm running it smoothly on my sensation, even though I don't even have chainfire or any extra video drivers...

Hey guys
Ok, so I got my hands on a modded version of O&C 1.1.3, thanks to MirageBlader! From the International HOX forums. It works for them but when I installed it, it was working fine, let me download the game and log in. BUT, when it was time to renew my subscription, it gave me an error not letting me make in-app purchases.
I looked online and saw other ppl with the problem and they said it was cause the person who signed the apk used a versionCode 3 for in-app billing instead of a versionCode 4 and it needs to be changed.
Does any1 know how to do that??
Also for the record, I bought the game when it first came out, so I'm not trying to play for free it just sucks there's no support our phones.

Ok so I logged in from another phone that was compatible with the game and payed for my subscription thru there and now I'm playing. No lag, colors look awesome. So happy!

I tried a normal value search and a low level analyse but nothing worked. Is it possible to hack this game with gamecih (or gamekiller, etc., it worked well in the first overkill) or has anyone another hack?
I found one but it didnt worked well, because sometimes the game has a fc and at level 13 there are only fc´s
(fc=force close)

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
I heard that other players have the same problem. any ideas how to solve this?

I love overkill 2, but when I download it and open it, it doesn't work. Just stays on the loading screen. Any ideas why this is?
