And i don't advice to put it, i don't know if it is secure or not.
They are big size for a game, but they are awesome graphic quality.

whats up with the winmo version of shift and sims3 ? is it smoother than on android ??
Ive played Shift on my HD2...runs smoothly....sometimes theres a bug when i exit...phone stays in landscape mode...have to fiddle with it a bit before it goes back to portrait..

I never play Sims 3, Monopoly or Tetris, i am playing Need For Speed - Shift.
I never had bugs or other problems with it, runs very smoothly, even if we i use a lot of turbo or when i am drifting.
This game it is just awesome for a mobile phone.
But it didn't help to answer to my question, because i am searching some other game like this.

I entered my IMEI-No. but it seems to long. I dialed *#06# and then I got displayed my IMEI-No. but when I enter this No. which is showed on my HD2 then I can't enter the last 3 diggits.
Anybody know whats wrong? I entered my phone No. but its wrong too

All games You can downoad officially from***MOD EDIT - WAREZ LINK REMOVED - READ THE RULES YOU SIGNED UP TO PLEASE**. If You want finish game without troubles with landscape mode - press green EA icon. It is EA internet site shortcut. Game will close itself and browser will start opening te site - quick close it (if You don't have internet free). Now easily go back to portrait mode turning phone in right direction.

just close the game and then press the "call hardware button" -----> back in portrait

that only works if you have screen rotation set to long press send key, like on the energy ROMs. Stock ROMs don't have this function.

jerk the phone violently to the side you are turning to, sometimes takes a couple of violent jerks to be successful for me.

Hi there!
I have problems with the g-sensor in need for speed and monopoly. The games runs smooth, but i can't steer in need for speed, and i can't shake the dices in monopoly. I have disabled sense and uninstalled resco photomanager, resco snake and resco bubbles. Any suggestions what to do?

At the beginning of the game, so during the first mission, you have a tutorial to learn everthing.
So to drift, you have just to turn to the side you want, but very fast or violently, and you will make a drift and you can see your points in red on the top of the screen.

I tried with the IMEI written on the back of the device, but does not go!

guys I know there are some sites that you get free full versions of the games that are not really legal, like that here link on the first page ,that's htchd2blogspot. com and for everyone's caution that site has malware on it so beware, I followed that link this morning around 4am before leaving for work, and now my desktop is jacked up with some f#%ed up malware/virus . Luckily I have my notebook to still play on the net, not too worried about desktop, will have it cleaned pretty soon, but I just wanted to let everybody know to be careful, and to stay away from such site.
hi,ive bought the fpse app and cant get this going,when i start it up what do i do to get the roms working ?ive made a folder in my memory card called roms and put resi evil in and when i go to roms in fpse it doesent show ?can someone please explain to me from start to finish on fpse what i do to get it up and running.
im an ex apple iphone 4 owner but very interested in getting into the android stuff but i think its a bit more complicated than iphone.
please be patient with me as in not totally clued up with the android phones yet
To use fpse your roms have to be in .iso or .bin/.cue format

Do you have a bios? You can play fpse without one but you cannot save your progress

so i download scph1001.bin & where do i put the file & ecm tools ?what do i do with that and put that where & is on androic market ?
You will need to download ECM tools from the net to your computer then drag the Desk Evil ECM over the unecm.exe application, it will convert it to a .iso,.bin or .cue put this file in your phones Games folder.
To do the good put scph1001.bin into your games folder, fire up fpse press your phones menu button and select Settings>System>Load Bios. Find your scph file and select it then in system then of HLE mode and finally select Save default setting. You should then be good to go

hi,finally got this going im now shifting through different roms some work and some dont,got resi evil 2 running with no probs & im enjoying this phone would even say the experia play is an iphone 4 beater now that ive been playing around with it for a few days.

- Fixed sound! really perfect now! especially if you set SPUSYNC from audio menu
- Added OpenGL-ES 2.0 blitter mode as default software. Very fast and smooth, and bilinear filtered!
if you want old software mode, just go to MISC menu and select Old Software drawing then restart FPse.
- Updated openGL plugin with fixes and support for Rockchip GPU.
- Fixed Start menu of GT1 in soft mode

Is anyone else having problems with backstab hd. I can install the game and the welcome film clip starts. Then the screen goes black and goes back to my home screen :-/

i couldnt get it to work for days
so why can u launch it that way then and not normal?
I purchased Modern Combat 2 and then needed to redownload it.
It was removed from the market so I called Gameloft and they gave me Backstab. I just tried it and it worked for me.
You should also get Spiderman. It is awesome.
The same thing happens to me with BackStab HD.
finally got Backstab, the only problem i have with it is that it makes me watch the startup video each time, like i cant skip it. pressing circle just pauses it and brings me back to homescreen then it continues when i launch the game again.
annoying, putting me off playing it lol.

Instead of skipping I tried watching it and it still closed after the video was done?
To skip it you need to tap on the screen then a little "forward" button comes up. then click that

I have tried everything in this thread and it still closes. I even watched the whole video when it is done it just closes.
I have got into the same issue as you with backstab.
I read somewhere that this problem may be the activation of the game. For the activation mechanism you must have an Internet connection on your mobilephone at the first start of the game.
I first started the game without an internet connection, so i had the same problem as you. The only thing I could do, was to reinstall backstab and to redownload the SD data. Then I started the game with an Internet connection. After the skip or end of the video, I had to wait 10 seconds before the progress bar appears.
This solved that issue for me.

Hmm I see it as well it is in the xperia play app/ game launcher.
I know this is a really old thread, but i didnt want to open a new one just for this.
I bought backstab from gameloft and when i opened it, it came up with a message saying "this game is incompatible with your device. Please request a refund"?
Why am i getting this, is anybody else getting this?

I don't have crash bandicoot pre-installed on my sd card no more. I'd like to try out using the Native psx emulator developed by yifanlu, but when i run my crash bandicoot, it seems to get stuck on "Updating" and never changes.
I've tried the US version as well, same result. Left it on for over 2 hours and still showing Updating page and nothing moves...
Anyone have any idea what i can do?

I accidently deleted my crash bandicot SD data the other day, when i fired up the game it started to download straight away if you want i will upload a copy of my crash .apk so you can try that one

Maybe you will have more luck, if you push it back to /system/app where it came from rather than just installing
Thanks for the tip, but I didn't realize that within system/app I already have the same file that you uploaded. So I installed it from that location, but when I try to open it. All it keeps saying is updating... And I don't think it changes? Is it meant to change page to say maybe downloading or something? Is it meant to take ages to download?
This is getting quite annoying =.=
Anymore tips? Or should I just keep leaving it on the updating page?

To be honest for me, when i launch crash, that updating box stays on maybe 1 second then goes

Problem Solved
I went back through and started replacing .apk's i had deleted. I even tried installing crash different ways, put it back into system an still no good, installed to sd card didnt work, installed to system normally didnt work. So when the Syphon Filter didnt work for me either, and I had all the sd files for syphon filter already, but even that said updating. It wasnt crash. There is an app called "preinstalledservice.apk" and idk why but none of the sony playstation game apps would work without it. Just put that .apk back into system apps and change permissions on it. Everything works great now, oddly enough the preinstalledservice.apk also has a weird looking icon... I attached it below, almost like its smiling with razor like teeth just because it knew I was gonna need it back in system lol....
Is your phone unlocked? I read somewhere that if your phone is unlocked then you lose drm support...since unlocking my phone I have not been able to download any new xperia games.....

yea, I have an unlocked bootloader, everything still downloads fine. it only stopped working if i deleted the "preinstalledservice.apk"

Interesting...... On another forum someone mentioned how Sony said a long time ago the emulator will work on Tegra 2 (which it does, as in the Sony S1 tablet). However you would think ok then why wouldn't it work on any Tegra 2 phone, well the Playstation Certification of course. But what could that entail? Simply a build.prop modification? Based on this maybe not, maybe this .apk is specific to hardware to make sure that its running on PS Certified devices only.
Just my theory....

I would have to agree with you because without that apk I couldnt run anything. And when Syphon Filter 1 or 3 opened and froze at updating , I knew it had to be something missing on my phone because the Syphon Filters weren't released for xperia play on verizon, So they didnt need to update anything because I already had the files needed and they were modified to work on any xperia play model/carrier.

I have seen the file in titanium backup and when it's removed none of your xperia exclusive stuff will work anymore
the phone goes back to being regular android without it

i cant find this file, when i download it its a _apk_downloader_exe, need help should have read ahead. now i can put this apk back in system/app. Can some one help me.

I loved this game on my Dreamcast, and the game play is simple enough that it could work well on a mobile device, but it just crashes after the loading screen for me. I think it's supposed to download additional data in addition to the 600mb Play store download, but it never does. Frustrating. App info said it was 1.75gb

i bought it on my motorola droid 3 it doesnt work crashes at title. i tried it on my original droid it works i can even use my ps3 controller with it lol
It's working fine for me. I had to clear out some space to get past the "prepairing" screen, but now it works fine. Might see if it works with the Moga controller, I'm not a big fan of the touch controls.
