D3O Nexus 4 Case - Nexus 4 Accessories

Has anyone heard on whether or not D3O plans to make a case for the nexus 4?
They've made cases for T Mobile phones in the past so it could be a possibility. These cases are extremely durable, and don't look half bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K97AJ9YTRs4

I had a D30 on my last Samsung phone, but since it wasn't available on the nexus 4, I got a Acase Superleggera Pro case, which is pretty similar in protection, in my opinion, and looks a bit better. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B4I2GJU

just wondering but why do you like ottebox cases, im currently using iphone 5 right now cause i missed first batch of nexus 4's and my otterbox case makes my iphone 5 a brick, the nexus 4 is thicker then iphone 5 so it would be a even bigger brick.
My opinion is you should pay ~10 bucks for slim high quality case on amazon
You'd be much better off with a Ballistic or Trident case, Otterbox has the worst quality materials out of those 3 imo
Whatever case will protect the phone from cracking i will get, i dont want to feel like the back is so fragile and have to baby the phone beyond reason
They say this every time a new phone hits. I'm sure we'll see one in a couple months.

They always say that. I guarantee there will be one for the Nexus 4.
Here is one for the Optimus G...

Definitely won't fit. N4 is completely different than the OpG exterior wise.

The Best Case For The Nexus 4 - IMO

I currently own the following cases for the Nexus 4:
i-Blason SoftGel Flexible TPU Case for Google Nexus 4 (12.95)
Ringke Google Nexus 4 SLIM Case ($9.99)
Androidified A2 TPU Case for LG Nexus 4 by Cruzerlite (12.90)
- The case that I would say is the best for the nexus 4 is the case by Cruzerlite. IMO it was the most hip and awesome case, though not as professional as the Ringke or i-Blason case. It offered Mild/High protect and it alleviated my fears of dropping the phone. The Ringke case was simply too cheap and flimsy for my taste but it was the slimmest. The i-Blason offered great protection but it made the Nexus 4 look bigger then what I wanted it to be. The case with the perfect fit and feel was the case by Cruzerlite, making my phone look more attractive (and I'm not saying this cause it has a Google android imprinted on the back lol).
Overall if you want the perfect case for the Nexus 4 I strongly recommend the Androidified A2 TPU Case for LG Nexus 4 by Cruzerlite. Trust me you won't go wrong.
Feel free to offer your own opinion on the following cases above.

I really like this durable case I purchased on amazon for 3.99. It's like an otterbox commuter case and feels and looks nice.

Otterbox Defender Series Too Expensive ($70!)

http://www.otterbox.com/Galaxy-Note-4-Defender-Series-Case/sam2-galaxy-note-4-set,default,pd.html
Isn't this case too pricey?!
This is the only case you will ever need, guaranteed.
It is a little high. Your paying for top of the line. Port covers, holsters, lots of unique color choices and a screen protector. The case looks well made. For me note 2 I spent over 50 for my case and holster. The one I brought was good but this one looks better. I'd consider it if it had a kick stand.
The price should come down in a few months but I don't think it's really overpriced.
Or just grab a UAG case and get similar protection for half the price (and better looks).

It does have a kickstand... The Belt clip is a kickstand. If you pull it back the whole way it will snap into the kickstand position.

Do the have belt clips?
It's certainly pricier than other models but one thing they appear to have accounted for is the fingerprint scanner. It looks like the case is notched right below it. Fingerprint scan worked fine on my Note 4 until I threw the Spigen Tough Armor case on. Now I can't get a consistent swipe.

I used to have this case for the Galaxy S3. It was really sturdy but one thing I didn't like is how the TPU/rubber material eventually would not stick/pulled away from the phone and I had to keep pushing in that rubber/TPU material all the time. It was pretty pricey to have to deal with that type of problem.
When I got my Note 3, I tried a few cases and eventually stuck with the Urban Armor Gear. I kept it because it was sturdy, felt good in the hand, saw different drop tests on Youtube, and was Military drop-test certified. I kept that case and also the case with the Zero Lemon extended battery since it was sturdy, covered the ports, and looks to be able to take drops as well.
The Rubber/TPU material is something I never favored either, haha

If Otterbox fixed that issue, it would be the perfect case(although still pricey).
I would recommend the Urban Armor Gear if you haven't tried it before. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have covers for the ports, but it's still a great case. I had the white/Navigator case for the Note 3 and for the Note 4 I decided to order this one:
http://www.urbanarmorgear.com/products/galaxy-note-4-case-clear
At first, before I ordered the UAG, there weren't many options for sturdy cases that were available, so I went with this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MP3OWVI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Also, here is a video of the same case(but for a different phone):

Haha, I find the Note 4 just a tad bit taller than the Note 3. Not much has been changed between both devices other than the materials and hardware inside.

For all complaining about the TPU cover stretching out on an Otterbox, you know all you have to do is take a picture of it with your info and Otterbox sends you another outer case free of charge. On my S3, I had mine and my wife's outer case, holster etc... replaced multiple times even after a year. So for $59 you paying for lifetime of support and free replacement with minimum hoop jumping.

That case does come with a holster but according to the seller does not have a kickstand unfortunately. It is the only holster case I've been able to find with headphone, mini USB & S Pen port covers. I'm waiting until the 22nd when it's available fulfilled by Amazon to see if anything else becomes available and if not I'll order it.
It is possible that case will stand up in the landscape mode when the belt clip is rotated to align with the holster clip on the side. My BodyGlove ToughSuit does that and it was not listed as a feature on Amazon when I bought it.
I've read Otterbox reviews in the past that state their cases become loose and I think their price is ridiculous.
If you can wait one of the holster/case Platinum Series Best Buy sells is made by Seidio and has a kickstand. It's the Seido convert combo. Best Buy sells it for $20 less than Seidio.
http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-note-4-convert-case-holster-black-p/bd4-hkr4ssgt4-bk.htm
You can view it on Seidio's website for a different phone like the S5.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MP3OWVI?pc_redir=1413677796&robot_redir=1 another case similar to OB
I got a cheap TPU case till a good one with a holster gets in stock. I'm gonna try this one have it on order. A little mad cause it said it would be in stock 10/20 now they have pushed the date on me. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MJ...5_QL70&qid=1413735934&sr=8-13#ref=mp_s_a_1_13

I usually look to diztronic but doesnt seem they have a case yet. Anyone else using a comparable thin TPU case?

I ordered one of these:

Should be here by Thursday. I can let you know how it is when I get it. I'm hoping it's not as glossy as it looks, but it's only $4

Looks ok, probably awful protection for the front. You definitely need a screen protector with that. But yea let me know how it is.
Personally, in just looking for scratch protection. Ill be using a screen protector, just haven't decided yet in which one.

I am also a Diztronic customer. Used them on my phones for the past few upgrades. I contacted their customer service and they said sometime in November. Delayed because of issues with multiple phone models on the note 4.
In the meantime I ordered the Spigen. It is okay but not as thin and smooth on the edges like my past few Diztronic tpu cases. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MAWRQR6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm using this one I bought at at&t and cant say id recommend it. The outer edges still havent settled, it looks like its not on flush. The at&t guy said it'd take at least 48 hours or return it. I might just do that not sure yet. I get a company discount on accessories.

That case looks as big as the body glove I have on my note 4 and its no good. My headphone jack doesnt fit, I have to pull the case out at the headphone jack to plug in my headphones.
Was waiting for Diztronic TPU cases, but they never released anything.
I think your best bet is to use Ringke
The Diztronic is reviewed here.
The same poster then reviews a Body Glove -Satin, which cut outs...
I like the look and I appreciate cutouts on the Body Glove, as sometimes cases get in the way of the USB charging port.
But it seems the Diztronic might be a tad smaller.
I really which the reviewer would have made some comparative comments.
If anyone has either of these -feed back would be appreciated.

Anyone heard of CIMO or CASEFORMER cases? Looks like they are coming.

So, trolling Amazon a bit I found there is a placement for cases by a company called CIMO.

So I went looking for some other cases by them with the same characteristics...

Here's the stuff from CASEFORMERS, with kickstands too...
http://www.amazon.com/Google-Nexus-CASEFORMERS-Ultra-Shockproof/dp/B016CBCMX8/
Not bad looking at all, decent reviews too. Just thought I'd share.
Can't say for certain, but I think the first time I saw their products was when I started looking for 6p.
Nice. Can't wait to see what they'll look like.
Caseformers looks nice especially with the kickstand.

What do you think about it?
Is a decent case and my phone has survived drops without mishap. Like some clear tpu cases yellowing can appear but I find soaking in Windex or a mild bleach solution helps. Besides they are only $7 on amazon so I bought a few.
