No surprise here, just as the title says.
So I just installed the new dynamics 7.8 rom. It's the first time ever i flashed my 7 pro. Before that, i played around with my pro 2 and my hd2. But all these experiences are no help when it comes to flash a radio on a 7 pro.
So I looked all around and asked in the rom thread but no luck.
All I come across is task 00 for hd7 but it doesn't seem to work. With both task00 for mozart and hd7, i get "invalid model ID" with the Update Utility.
I got the 5.71 radio files on xda, no problem on that part and that's the one recommended for the rom i use. Right now i'm running a 5.69 radio.
The radio file name i got is "Schubert_Europe_5.10.401.04_Radio_5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U", downloaded in the 7 pro section
Can anyone direct me to the right tool or soft to make tthat happen?

I get this message on bootup serial V1.00 now since,
I re flashed the phone it looks like with the wrong file RUU_v1.1_OrangeUK_v3.66.1.230_ship
What are the steps to get the phone working again.
Please be easy with as I am very new to mobile pc's hence this this massive mistake. I have searched for 5 1/2 hours & are just getting totally lost.
I noted the Windows ver which was on the SPV which was 4.21.
I am getting confused with all the different versions like radio software etc.
Any help would be apprieciated.
Further to that I have found out it is a HTC Magician

Get the correct rom for your phone, place your phone in the cradle and start the flashing procedure.
Silly question but how do I find out which ROM it is as I have looked here for the ROM ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Magician/Shipped_ROMS/ & they are sooo many of them?
Or is it this one UK_11200_131_11210_ship.exe as I am in the UK how can you determin if it is with Orange?

Hello everyone and thanks for your patience with my noob question.
I'm successfully applied and completed the HARDSPL for my Verizon Version TP2 Pro World Phone, and would like to apply a Rom, specifically NRGZ "Leo" rom, however I am confused by different tutorials on how to do this.
Do I need to flash a new "radio" now before the rom? If so how do I know which one I need? Or is it included in the ROM that I download.
I tried loading one radio Latest Radio (4.46.25.24) which says its for my phone but after hitting 100% it gave me a 290 error that its not for my phone.
I'd greatly appreciate any help regarding this?

no you don't have to and would not suggest radio flashing if you are new to flashing
ok thanks very much, so even though I tried applying the radio rom, it got to 100% complete but then said error 290 invalid command (on the PC) "this update utility cannot be used for your device)....so is it likely that my radio rom did not update.
Right now my phone screen has three color bars, RGB, so next would be to flash with the rom i want, right.
It seems I'm the only one to have this problem. I am trying to flash the latest Energy ROM build 23504 found in my sig..
Heres the problem:
I go thru the normal steps when I flash:
1) hard reset
2) flash to stock
3) hard reset
4) flash to energy
5) here comes the problem....
After I flash to Energy ROM build 23504. My device resets itself, like normal. RUU says update has been completed successfully. Now as my device boots back up it gets stuck on the verizon screen with the ROM info on it. It will not go past this screen no matter how long I wait.
Here is what I've tried:
1) flash from desktop (xp)
2) flash from laptop (xp)
3) flash from storage card
I have tried redownloading the files multiple times. using diferent browsers.
I only have problem with 23504, I can load NRG's other release 21864 with out problem you can see the latest releases here: http://hotfile.com/list/93326/3d17c67 if you look at the list I've tried all of the 23504 builds. No one over at PPCGeeks Knows of a solution.
Please help.

EnergyROM is cooked for GSM Phones ONLY, read the second post on the first page
you have a CDMA device, be thankful it didnt turn into a brick, flash the standard verizon ROM and all should be well

do you have HardSPL flashed yet? that could be your major problem
Oh yeah, SPL-0.35. CMONEX This isnt the firt time I have flashed, Ive been on custom ROMs for long time. I have been rolling with energy roms since september. My problem only occurs with all his 23504 builds all other builds work fine.
Installing NRG Rom 6.5 error
Hi, the problem is - i cannot install this rom on my phone. I have Touch Pro with latest 6.1 rom update. And downloaded files EnergyROM_23504_RAPHAEL_10.Nov.2009_Standard and EnergyROM_21864_RAPHAEL_09.Nov.2009_Standard.
The reason of error - cannot find a readme file.
Does anybody can help me?

Hi everyone i am new here i just recently upgraded from a g1 to the touch pro 2 i have loaded the hardspl and newest radio but i cannot get a custom rom installed i have followed all the steps when i try ove computer it always says my ruu cannot open my rom and when i try by sdcard the bootloader screen starts to load sum #"s pop up but then it aborts and i think it says no file found or sumthn like that i have renamed the file RHODIMG.nbh and nuthn...can someone please help? maybe direct me to an custom ruu for a gsm..i would greatly appreciate any help...thank you..

i have gone thru it step by step and have the hard spl-0.85. 01 iNex, my radio is 4. 49. 25. 57...iven even used the custom ruu that is provided in the thread but it doesnt seem to work with any of the roms ive downloaded from here...and when i go thru sdcard it starts loading then i get a string of numbers at the top of screen 0068sumthn and then just stops and says nomfile i believe it switches really fast my card is formatted to fat 32 but nuthn...i really wna upgrade to another rom im really into it i have upgraded to wm 6.5 and it worked with the shipped ruu...if u could direct me to sum roms that have a ruu in the same folder id greatly appreciate it...and THANK YOU VERY MUCH for responding i didnt think id get one...

For the first question, yes. I've Flashed ROMs using Vista x64 and Win7 x64. No issues yet-to-date.
For the second question, be safe. Flash the new Radio BEFORE you flash the Energy ROM.

Do yourself and us some favor:
Read this thread at least the first few posts
Know if your phone is hardSPL'd or not
Know how to backup and restore your contacts
ROM and Radio are independent, almost all ROMs come WITHOUT Radio so a new ROM wont override your Radio and vice versa
Stay with a 21xxx ROM in the beginning
If the flash with your vista PC doesn't work, flash from SD card (use search to find out how - hint: read what I linked already).
Raphael and Cingular Radios will work on the Fuze B U T none of the Blackstone, Quartz and Xperia will for them you'll need hardSPL AND a CID unlocked phone!!!
I H I G H L Y suggest hardSPL prior trying to flash ANY ROM here in the forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's left is a good Radio rilphone combo (try 14.25.05 Radio) and a ROM you like. As said I'd start with a 21xxx based one (either Sense 2.1 or 2.5). There are plenty around.
Thank you I think I got all the information I need except on the back up program to use I have sprite backup but I've read that some people have problems with that is there any better ones to use and if I back up my phone cuz I use the backup on the rom I flash to?
It depends on what data/information you wish to keep.
If you wish to keep your Contacts, Calender Entries, Texts, Pictures, etc.. Use Microsofts' MyPhone Service. *Recommended*
If you wish to keep all of the above + installed Apps, & Registry Settings, I'd suggest checking out SPB Backup. *Not Recommended :: Registry Conflicts may Occur*
ok so i think i got all the info i need im going to try to flash my phone now im not going to do a hardspl cuz it was flashed to an energy rom when i bought it
