[Q] stuck in bootloop, recovery unaccecable, only fastboot - HTC One S

hey guys,
i flashed cm10 a few days ago, coming from viperone rom. today i decided to change back. i booted into recovery, wiped and flashed the viper.zip in recovery.
since then ive been in a boot loop. i can still access the bootloader and get fastboot to work. if i boot into recovery it will bootloop.
tryed flashing roms with
fastboot flash zip rom.zip ; with respective
fastboot flash boot boot.img
flashing the zip i get the error:
writing "zip"...
FAILED: (remote: not allowed)
tryed flashing new recovery, i get a notivifacation that flashing finished. but it will still bootloop if i go into recovery.
im kinda stuck, any suggestions, id be really thankful if someone could help me out?

Hi, are you sure your bootloader is unlocked?
Remote: Not Allowed usually means your bootloader is locked.

thx for the quick answer,
i unlocked my bootloader ages ago and have flashed many roms in the last few months. additionaly wenn i get into the bootloader at the top of the screen it sais :
***UNLOCKED***
so im pretty sure i used the htc dev unlock
there is no prob when i flash new recoveries. ive tryed clockworkmod, clockworkmodtouch and twrp. all have worked on this phone.
in bootloader when i tell it to boot into recovery. i see the recovery screen for a split second. then it reboots

It might sound dumb but try to flash the recovery 2 or 3 times back to back before you try to get into it.

The time that happened to me was when I didn't fast boot flash the boot.img. That did nothing for you?

You sound like what happened to me last night... was stuck in bootloop after flashing rom.. I thought.. no biggy reflash rom but couldn't mount sdcard.. so I had to do relock bootloader.. RUU install and then root/unlock bootloader procedure again.. Only way I got mine to work..

thx guys,
flashing boot.img didnt help. already tried.
will lock phone and try cruzers method in the morning. no sense doing this after being out for some beers

This happened to me last Monday. I used flashboot to wipe the cache after reflashing the twrp, I don't remember the command at the moment though. I also made sure to disconnect my USB when I restarted the phone.

Thx guys, i got it to boot!
Erasing cach got me back into recovery but couldnt not push rom or flash zip
Relocked, flashed ruu, and unlocked Again and its good as new.
<3 U guys Thx for the hel

[Q] Phone won't boot to system or recovery

So I tried to flash Magnolia X 1.0 coming from MIUI. After I wiped from MIUI and tried to install Magnolia I got an error. No big deal right? So I figured I would reboot recovery ( clockwork mod ) and try again, if it didn't work I could restore MIUI. When I hit reboot recovery I got stuck in a bootloop, from white htc screen to off. It just looks like it is trying to get to recovery but it is not loading it for some reason. So I decided to boot it into hboot and reflash the recovery, or possibly flash twrp. Now my problem is that the computer is not recognizing the phone, so none of my fastboot or adb commands do anything I just get <waiting for device>. Any ideas?
So right after I made the post I was able to get the drivers to reinstall and was able to re flash the recovery. Tried both CWM and TWRP and neither will boot. With TWRP I can get to the recovery splash screen but then it just goes black. Downloading the RUU now and I am going to try to flash that through the bootloader. Other than that I have no othe ideas...anyone else have any?
Got it...had to relock bootloader and run ruu then extract the stock recovery and flash it. Rebooted into recovery let it sit, then it rebooted back to the bootloader. Re-unlocked bootloader then flashed TWRP and it worked fine. Back up and running again.

[Q] HTC J Butterfly Half Bricked

Hi, so i got my phone last week. And yesterday, I decided to try and flash some custom roms on it. My device is pretty funny, I live in Hong Kong and when i bought my device, they have done S-OFF, unlocked bootloader, even custom recovery with twrp AND cwm. Now the default recovery was twrp, I tried flashing some roms, tried different ones, my device doesn't acccept them, after installing the rom, my device boots, shows the red text, stuck there for around 15 seconds and it reboots itself into the same state. So I used my twrp backup and flashed the recovery to cwm to give it a shot, the results are the same. And then at point, i booted up into recovery and it says Entering Recovery, and it gets stuck there forever. I can't boot into the system either. I tried using fastboot clear the cache, reflash the two different recoveries, no luck. I can get into bootloader and nothing else. Tried using HBOOT CL99IMG.zip method, but my phone just doesnt accept the roms. Any ideas?
Thankyou, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Any ideas? Anyone? Because all i need to do is to boot into twrp recovery. However, when i try to boot recovery it just says entering recovery, with the htc screen, and stays there forever. Any Suggestions?
Did you try "fastboot erase cache" command ?
Try to flash the boot.img included in your rom.zip with "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

Yea I did, apparently i got something. I mixed some files from the HTL21 Taiwan zip thingy, with the signed rom. I am able to boot into the os. However once I unlock it it crashes. Recovery still doesnt work :/
Anyways, thanks for the suggestion Appreciate it.
UPDATE: Now the phone isn't accepting anything from fastboot :/
It all says FAILED <remote:not allowed>
This is getting nuts lol
The fastboot is activated in the settings in your rom ?
Not sure about that, probably no :/ but thats the only rom i can get working
I can see it fastboot devices tho
anyone else? anymore ideas? :/
ok, so I got my phone kinda working. I used the htc butterfly toolkit, somehow flashing the X920e recoveries can make it work. I then restored from my previous backup with twrp, which contains system, data, boot. but when i boot into the system, it says loading widget, everything works fine for a while, then it suddenly crashes. I have tried restoring the system with only system and boot without data, still no luck. any ideas?? i have attached my log
any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Stuck in Fastboot

Okay so I tried to flash cyanogenmod 11 for the first time on this moto G (US). It bootlooped and I tired to reflash it again and it did the same. There was no way of returning to stock because I had not made a backup. So I tried to flash stock in the bootloader and that didn't work. I went into the recovery and it said 'cant mount /sdcard. So go back into the bootloader and format the sdcard and that doesn't work (which I returned to the recovery to see it not working). I go back and flash twrp thinking that recovery would have something to help me flash a new rom and now I don't even have a working recovery. It takes me straight back to the bootloader and every time I flash a recovery it says Mismatched partition size (recovery) and I am unable to boot into it.
I have no clue on what to do at this point and I need help.
also it says invalid "boot image header!" in red letters

Twrp_MotoG_signed_010814_163615.zip
Download vocoderisms TWRP build, extract "recovery.img" from it.
After you have kitkat installed and working:
Option 1, use TWRP without install:
Boot to bootloader (adb reboot bootloader), boot twrp (fastboot boot recovery.img) and install rom from there.
Option 2, install TWRP (have not tested):
Upload twrp zip to phone (adb push Twrp_MotoG_signed_010814_163615.zip /sdcard/), boot to bootloader (adb reboot bootloader), boot twrp (fastboot boot recovery.img), install Twrp_MotoG_signed_010814_163615.zip.

You do know flashing stock again removes root, so it has to be rerooted again ?

Please provide the following information:
How did you unlock the bootloader? HTCDEV method?
Which ROM did you flash?
Can you still enter TWRP recovery?
How did you relock the bootloader? fastboot oem lock?
Error 155 usually means wrong RUU version.... you definitely have the correct RUU?
ALSO, DO NOT do anything else until you let us know the above information....

Im sorry i forgot the password en witch e-mail i used to signed up aryan33.
Well the problem was im a newb when it comes to unlocking , custem rom etc ..
I flashed a custom cyanmod and it went ****ed
I was able to enter twrp
I unlocked ,relocked , re-unlocked with htcdev ,fastboot oem lock in cmd
well i found that there problem was that there is no Htc one m4 version-main: 2.12.114.2 t-mobiel RUU
i was unable to adb sideload , or push a diff zip to the phone
so i got a otg adapter and a usb flash drive and mounted it with files then flashed a custom rom that was compatible
and my phone works
Nice! Great work! Enjoy your phone!

phone wont enter recovery stuck on OPO logo

:crying:
phone wont enter recovery mode I dont know what to do i flashed N based rom it went into bootloop. I was on 3.0 TWRP. Flashed M based ROM, it worked. I decided to give N ROM another chance it didnt flash gave me some error
I tried to enter Recovery again now I just cant. it get stuck on OPO Logo. I can reboot normally and use the M ROM but I cant boot into recovery to flash anything.
Here's a list of stuff I tried and didnt work
1. Flashing Old versions of TWRP through fastboot and flashify and TWRP Manager
Ive tried these versions
twrp-2.7.0.0-bacon
twrp-2.8.0.0-bacon
twrp-2.8.5.0-bacon
twrp-2.8.6.0-bacon
twrp-3.1.0-0-bacon
I even checked to find that the bootloader is unlocked. I was really relieved cos i didnt wanna lose all my data.
2. I've tried Fastboot boot recovery command which gives "Failed (remote: DTB not found)". i googled and flashing older recovery was the only answer I found. which I already did. Any other ideas?
EDIT: I would like to add and clear the fact that the recovery flashes without errors but it just wont boot.
