Currently which Qi Wireless Charger performs best with the Nexus 4 since we do not have the Charging Orb out Yet.
So far I have found that the Touchstone Charger some of you may remember from the palm pre does not work with the N4
The Nokia Fatboy Wireless Charger has connectivity issues with the N4 (Disconnecting off and on randomly)
How ever I have not heard anything on the compatibility with the Energizer Qi Powermat or the LG Powermat Qi
Anyone here more knowledgeable on this issue?
Please search before posting. There are plenty of threads confirming compatibility with both the Energizer and LG chargers.

Does anybody know or have even used Anker batteries and can give some feedback on them?
Also wondering if the wall charger can charge the OEM Samsung battery that came with my phone.
Thinking about ordering this for my Skyrocket:

I bought an Anker for my Captivate, it was probably the best investment I made for that phone.
I use that exact set. The batteries are wonderful, but the charger itself is a little poorly made/easy to break

I have the exact set also, and yes you can use it to charge the OEM batteries. Have done it numerous times. I've had great success with Anker products. I've purchased so many of their products they send me free items.

About the charger, did yours break and if so, did you buy a new one afterwards?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA
Actually, when I bought the batteries, I got 2 chargers. The one that a rarely touch at work is still working like a champ, but the one I was using at home broke at the plug.
They're both kind of flimsy, but I probably just got one bad one. Still a great deal

You got two? Was that on purpose or was it by accident?
In any case, I'm not sure what to do if I only receive one that will be flimsy and break.

I bought 2 on purpose to have one at home and one at work. The chargers themselves are flimsy, but I have two small boys in the house, which makes most tech scream in terror anyway
I'd say that if you get one and it breaks, $10 for a new charger isn't much risk

I didnt have great success with that battery. It was fine - roughly the same as the stock, but not better. Maybe less.
The Nexus Extended Battery worked much better for me.

Really? That nexus battery was able to fit in the skyrocket?
I wasn't concerned about getting better battery life than the stock just cause they're 2200mah but more concerned about the quality of the batteries and the wall charger.
Thanks for your input though!

Check out the video below, specifically at 0:35. Anyone think thats a wireless charging dock for the nexus 4?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZGDcthVyD0
sure looks like it
I don't know, but it is great ad. Best I have seen for an android phone!
It looked like a universal dock the first time I saw it. Nice avatar by the way. Can't wait for the second half of the season.

No way. There's no cable going to it.
It would probably never be released like every other accessory Google has planned.

The battery in the status bar, though, doesn't have the electricity bolt icon that you see when it charges. So I'd assume it's just a regular stand. Not wise when using GPS constantly

I'd say PRECISELY because it's a commercial, they would want to make the charging part really clear. At least from the years I worked in publicity video production, the director and representatives from the ad agency and brand itself were always paying huge attention to details like those.

Probably because it's a commercial and they didn't want to show any clutter. I'm going to go ahead and think it's an inductive charger car dock that somehow magically also does audio.

I have to assume if it was a legitimate accessory for the Nexus it would not have a universal cradle as shown.

I don't see how this could be a charger its not connected to a power source so i can't see how it would charge your phone through just the windshield would be nice though but highly doubtful
this is the closest i found to a charger/dock for it which would be nice but i don't use my gps enough for this

true that would be awesome accessory to have and have the charging orb at home. This phone would be to wireless lmfao if that's possible granted there are workarounds like charging mats just be nice to have official stuff
Just wanted to make a quick review since i didn't find one in the whole forum and on google, about the official samsung dock, paired with our beloved Nexus 4, in the past few days i took the time to inspect the Nexus 4 size VS the official dock size and came to the conclusion that it would fit, so i bought it, a few days later BOOM new dock and when i tried my theory... well it worked like a charm =) it fits perfectly and look great Just take a look it fits perfectly, charging is as fast as directly connected, i will keep updating this thread with more details, right not i don't have a 3.5 mm AUX cable to test it, but it's a complete "GO" to the people thinking of getting one, thanks for reading folks.
What Samsung model is that dock made for?
Looks like the universal Samsung dock.

Okay we really need to know about the audio out function, because otherwise this is nothing more than a glorified usb cable. Can't you just test it with headphones?

You must of died.
But anyways. I own this dock as my girlfriend uses it with her S2.
-Aux port does not do anything with the Nexus 4.
-Daydreams do not turn on either (unless set to activate while charging as well)
This dock is just a fancy wall charger for the N4.

I'm thinking about picking up the wireless charger for this phone and wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I would live to know the charge time by comparison to the wall charger, is there much if a difference? Any input with someone that has experience with it would be great, thanks

I dont have the official charger but I can confirm that the Nokia DT-601 works very well and charges the N5 quickly and is quite a bit cheaper

I love wireless charging. It's just no hassle, and since I'm kind off paranoid of breaking the micro USB port on my N5 because it's really tight, it works. It's not as fast as the plug in charger that came with the phone due to the inherent inefficiencies or wireless charging, but it's still pretty quick. Depending on how low your battery is when you start charging, it would probably take 30-60min longer. But, I'm never really in a rush, and always keep my battery topped off, so I'm never in dire need for a super fast charge.
A word of caution though: STAY AWAY FROM THE TYLT VU. It has a serious issue with sporadically overheating your device. Check out these threads:

Once you go wireless, you won't go back.
I'm using my Nexus 4 Orb and it works great. It is a little slower than charging via a micro-usb cable, but if you're like me and charge overnight, it won't be an issue.
You're kidding.

Totally my bad. Sorry OP.
I have the Nexus orb charger that works great. I had bought the new Google one too that is flat and square but I hated it so I sent it back.
I bought the zens charger lady week and I am liking it more than any others so far. Easy to line up and dim light that shows is charging.
