Galaxy S3 mirroring - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

hello world.. simple question.... and excuse the noob -ness of it .. however i wanna mirror my SG3 to my pc ... and be able to go back and forth from the different environments .. for example respond to texts without having to pick up my phone . or download an app without having to go to my phone .. i wanna pretty much just mirror from the phone to the monitor... thanks in advance

MyPhoneExplorer allows for relatively quick auto-refresh of your phone's display in a monitoring window on a PC.
I was able to fully control an Incredible 2 whose backlight died from Windows using this program, for example. Your mouse takes the place of a finger on the phone's display.

Do you want remote control?

[App] RemotifyMyDroid (my 3rd FREE app)

Hello Everyone,

http://www.yazandroid.com/
and go to RemotifyMyDroid (1st link) and it contains some screen shots to.
also have a look at my other FREE 2 applications there
your feedback is appreciated
Yazan.
Sounds great, but I think setting this up might be a tad harsh for general use (firewalls etc). I would suggest building an intermediary platform (web service) to communicate to. That way you can have a very easy setup. For instance, you can use the Google login service to identify yourself from the phone and the notification program and that's it then. No IP's or port numbers as most users don't know what that is anyway.
But for the techies, good start.
Cheers

No problem
Portal pending. Nice app
I will use this when it's possible to use it via the web. Maybe a Chrome/FireFox/IE plugin would be cool?
Really nice idea!
Another suggestion : an honeycomb client
let us be notified about our phone when it's away and we're using our favorite tablet

What a great find... The integration with Growl will be excellent on my HTPC. Also, this allows easy integration with EventGhost through Scripty.
just installed. works fine.
Any chance on a open source version, i would like to see how you did this. an maybe use some of the code in a Domotica project of mine.
Hey another MightyText. At least I can use this one lol.\

Have you ever heard of...dare I say it...variation of ideas? Just because there is something similar out there, does not mean it is identical. Please do not spam dev's threads with others work.
he's right though, there is google voice add on for chrome that does this, mighty text, and that last one he mentioned.

its not a waste of time, and for sure i have learned couple of things while developing this app, its not a waste at all.
otherwise you will see a single app for each purpose ... on pc\mobile ...
one more thing .. why do you think there is Windows , Linux and Mac??
could not other parties just SAVE there time and NOT develop another OS!!!!

Hey, didn't try it yet but I have some suggestions, in addition to a web service:
reply to sms / transfer calls to PC
low battery event
as an option, deliver every notification from notification bar (alarms, songs played, ebay auctions ending, FB msgs, etc.)
cheers
Mac version would be awesome .

Using bluetooth maybe ? PC as a handset (would have to be paired before)
I understand then distance range would come as a limit for many use cases, but could still be enjoyable instead of standing up to pick up the phone !

There is a very good reason why these sort of apps give a notification on the screen - it is so that anyone using the PC at that time knows that what they are doing is being watched.
As for doing this without downloading anything to the remote PC - not possible. Even if it is malware hidden in a spam email it will need to download something.
To do it without notification would either make you a spy or a stalker
To that end I'm going to report this thread for the Mods to decide on.

Well, I guess its not sound that good, but YOU did talk about malware or spying...not me.
There is a APP that doing what I've described (I forgot its name) - you need user/password on the PC but its not pushing notification everytime like TeamViewer, I want something that control like teamviewer but used like (on systray)
However, mr.guy, there are so many remote application on google play, so instead of trying all the 1000 I just want a recommand for a good one.
You can forget about your your hallucinations about spyware and other nonsense, it really does not interest me.
thanks (for nothing) for jumping my thread , maybe someone will be usefull than you.

If you just want something that you can use to log in without actually having a user sat at the remote PC then you should look at LogMeIn - it's what I use for managing my customer's EPoS kit as I can just assign a fixed password to the machine and log in whenever I want to. They still get a notification on the screen that I've connected, but that's all.

age of mythology is not that old xD, so far the only way you could play it is via a remote desktop app and could play from there, you might have to customize a few controls to get it working up to what you want. i dont remember any of the apps though,
Try using an emulator

Get a pc emulator app then download the Age of mythology game from somewhere, the same way you do with roms and a GBA emulator? If you'd happen to know such an emulator I'd be your newest best friend

Teamviewer is probably one of the apps you're thinking of. I've already though of this option but being away from my pc for work I'd be using a cr*p load of my phones monthly data.
Why not a little google seach? Although even I know some apps but a little google search wont hurt right?
Here I have already searched it for you http://www.google.com.pk/search?cli...c.1.42.mobile-gws-serp..1.23.6649.4cGp45AQ3NU
All the stuff you need is listed above
Btw you can always try those pc control apps but they are laggy when you play games

remote access from another android?

Hi,
Im trying to figure out how to remotely access one of my android devices from another android...
I need to be able to view the other devices screen and navigate through it...
My situation is Ive got a thermometer on my BBQ that has a bluetooth connection. Ill leave one device near it connected via bluetooth.
Due to range issues Id like to be able to access that device from elsewhere in my house (over WIFI). Would be super awesome if I could access it from anywhere using a data connection...
Anyone know of an app that will let me do that?
thanks in advance
guess it doesnt exist??

Have you tried android to android?
No I have tried only PC to android, but will try out tomorrow and let you know
I also found this app called Tablet Remote which you can try out
Teamviewer responded that their app doesnt do that.
Tablet remote doesnt let you view the screen on your remote device
Its hard to find an app that lets you remotely control from another android and let you view the screen as well, but I came across this just when I was about to give up

[Q] how to check privacy violations?

Hi guys,
First of all sorry for my English lol
I know it's a strange question, I'll try to explain me better
I have a tablet provided by my company for my work as agebt/seller with all company stuffs, it has a normal Android original rom, ita a galaxy 10.1 gtn8000 with Android 4.1.2
Im allowed to use it for my personal use (they said go on youporn but not when u are working lol) but I'm forced by the company to use my private Gmail account to use playstore, so my mail are both on phone and tablet, they shouldn't watch at it because of privacy but I have many reasons to think they do it constantly, tablet has remote control enabled due to let theme install updates of working stuffs
Well how can I check what they do when access to my tablet? I googled so much but I only find ways to check if gf is cheating lol I need to see what they do on my device hehe
Any advice? Any program that records screen when I'm not using it (usually they do updates at night time
Thanks a lot to everyone
A little bump hoping in some ideas
