what are the technical data of the dual sim note 3?
is there international version for Note 3 duos or it will be just for china??

Hello everyone,
Anyone knows if there is any info about some phone that is going to be released in the near future with dual sim and LTE support?
Thanks.
Tell me about it.. I have been waiting for years!!
the problem with dual SIM and LTE is that the processing power required to decode the LTE signals is far grater than what we have today.
dont despair though! I just read that Mediatek is releasing a powerful 8core chip that can handle the processing load and that is Great news! I expect we will have something soon (Q3 2014)
Both the new Sony Xperia M2 and Xperia T2 Ultra support Dual Sim and LTE. :good:

ummmm.. definitely not!!
The phones you are talking about are single SIM.
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_m2-6146.php
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_t2_ultra-5965.php
The only dual SIM UE is the E1 DUAL and it's not LTE:
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_e1_dual-5967.php
Trust me, there are no phones out in the market yet.
There's just no juice for LTE AND 3G dual SIM yet. I'm a telco engineer, it's my job!

I'm actually referring to their "dual" variant, the Xperia M2 Dual and Xperia T2 Ultra Dual. My mistake for missing that.
The reason I said they both support Dual SIM and LTE is based on the following announcements:-
http://blogs.sonymobile.com/press_release/xperia-m2-best-smartphone-tech-in-its-class/
http://developer.sonymobile.com/201...a-6smartphone-for-large-screen-entertainment/
Sony is not very clear with their announcements on whether the "dual" variant includes LTE or not but I did saw a few articles mentioning it:-
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/sony-xperia-m2-dual-sim-4g-lte,26101.html
http://www.mobileburn.com/22423/new...debuts-with-6-inch-display-lte-and-dual-sims-
Actually the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual is not LTE:
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_t2_ultra_dual-5968.php
and the specsheet:
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/phones/xperia-t2-ultra-dual/specifications/#tabs
...and neither is the M2 Dual. Here's the Spec sheet for M2:
http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/d2302/whitepaper_EN_d2302_xperia_m2_dual.pdf
All the phone manufactures post these vague reports because the people who are creating the reports have no idea about the product specs. The LTE version is the single SIM model of these lines, the Dual Sim version only has WCDMA.
There are three main chip manufactures - Qualcom - Samsung - Mediatek. All smartphone companies carry either one of the three, or a variation of the Modem chip.
Currently, (read the first reply) there is no chip capable of handling LTE demodulation/MIMO. The processing requirements are too Damn High! (meme ref).
Mediatek though, is the first one who has announced that is building a chip that can handle the load. The Octa- Core MTK6592.

My next phone must be dual sim and lte and less then 6" screen. I thought to have it for my brthday in july. Is there any chance? Somebody knows for sure if that THL W11 Monkey King 2 will support lte or i should wait for MTK6595 definately? (it would be fine for me even if one sim is lte and 2nd one is 3g).
Thanks
Guys, this is an important question...How does big little actually work? Does it only uses only 4 cores at a time? I have read around and this seems to be the case, at least for current implementations.
Mtk6595 phones are coming out but if that's the case I'd rather stick with mtk6592 and have better multitasking. I don't care about 4g.
I'd like to know more about the mtk6595 :s
According to this link tough, the mtk6595 might use all eight cores simultaneously.
The principal question is if there are apps using 8 cores at the same time. You could have a powerful device with 8 cores working at the same time, yet if there aren't apps using this permormance...
M1S - Patatalk

As long as different apps use different cores, even just 2 cores per app, it is still a great deal.
I think i've found something http://www.aliexpress.com/item/4G-T...e-2G-RAM-8G-ROM-Android-4-4-5/1840816089.html . But i'm not sure if this information is real or fake because i can't find official page of the vendor
UPDATE: The brand/vendor name seems to be "Vivo"
And here's another one http://www.chinaecarts.com/samsung-...nch-mt6595-android-44-32gb-lte-4g-p-7591.html (see comments, there's a model with 2 sim and lte). Also some unknown/fake brand with no guarantee of future rom updates nor cyanogenmod...
This is a post for Dual SIM devices with LTE. Why the hdll are you posting CPU Q&A???????
Here's another one model http://hiton.en.alibaba.com/productgrouplist-221621342/Octa_Core_Smarphones.html which at least has official crappy website http://hightoncn.com/ .
+1, please post/search for dual sim lte devices and don't offtopic about cpu or any other features differnt to 2sim+lte in this topic
UPDATE: and there's seem to be LTE version of UMi X3 http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014...-octa-core-smartphone-5-5inch/1764609798.html
Looks like Huawei Ascend P7 has dual sim version with lte http://liaow.com/huawei-ascend-p7-w-black.php
In some reviews they say that the second sim slot can also be used either for sd card or for sim card, so you can choose between additional sim or additional storage. But i don't know if it's true or there's just 2 different versions of that model: one with extra sim slot but without sd card and another is single sim but with sd card.
And the HTC One E8 Dual SIM http://www.htc.com/cn/smartphones/htc-one-e8/#/ use Google translate. Limited LTE bands however. Possible June release in China I think.

I'm afraid the same about the bands of all models that i posted above if not sold specially or officially for the countries with different bands than china's. And sure I'd like at least 3g for the second sim if i want to switch data connection to another sim. You could just interchange sims in that case but for example Huawei has one sim micro and another nano so it's impossible to do so
Yes a good bit of research is necessary!
I think I've only seen the ZOPO ZP980+ to have 3G + 3G - pretty rare to find.
I like the HTC E8... Are there any news about availability around the world? I'm from Portugal
It's only released in China so far, not sure it will be released wider, the M8 dual SIM has just been released an a few European markets. You could always import an E8, try merimobiles etotalk etc etc.

Looking at Moto G 2nd Gen (5" version). Here in UK is available as a 4G version, or as a dual SIM version but this is only 3G.
Is there a 4G dual SIM 2nd Gen available anywhere? If so why isn't it available in UK?
I want a dual SIM as I'll use it abroad, and would be perfect to use with a 3 UK SIM for the "feel at home" offer where you can use unlimited data abroad in certain countries.
If not I'll have to just get the 3G version, but wondering why Motorola either don't do a 4G dual SIM and/or why not available in UK.
Thanks
There's no 4G Dual Sim version anywhere.

It's upto Motorola. They didn't want to make such variant and so they haven't made it.
XT1072 - Retail UK / EU - Single-SIM - 8GB
XT1077 - Retail China - CDMA2000 - Dual-SIM - 8GB / 16GB
XT1078 - Retail Brazil - Dual-SIM - 8GB / 16GB
XT1079 - Retail China - TD-SCDMA - Dual-SIM - 8GB / 16GBFactory firmware images exist for these models. Google the model numbers and you will see Dual-SIM is for sale in Brazil and China.

True they can do what they want, but UK 4G is getting better now, so strange that don't offer it, too me people will be out of, and look elsewhere if the phone is limited to 3G in today's market

They are all definitely 4G / LTE. Those are the model numbers for the Moto G (2015) 4G / LTE phone.
So out is possible, so why on earth do us in UK only have a 3G dual SIM version? Are the band's not compatible to UK or something?

I've said twice already; the only version being sold by retailers in UK / Europe is Single-SIM. Maybe that will change in the near future, or maybe you can get the Dual-SIM version through an importer on Amazon.
Here is a UK retailer selling XT1072 (Single-SIM 4G)
http://www.tesco.com/direct/motorol...-black/562-4468.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=562-4468
Sorry for confusion. Yes I know that the 4G single SIM is available in UK, Amazon UK etc, I specifically now want dual SIM though.
As it's a backup and holiday phone, having dual SIM is ideal. I wanted, for future proofing, a 4G dual SIM.
If can't get a 4G dual SIM, I'd rather get a 3G dual SIM, just if the 4G dual SIM was coming, officially to UKxbox I'd wait a bit.
Thanks
I will be traveling to Japan and read that b-mobile offers a pre paid sim card for data. I see that they have every other galaxy phone listed as compatible but don't see the S6. I'm wondering if they just haven't updated it due to it being new or will it not work with the the Galaxy S6?
The requirements they write for it are :
Your device must support one of the following frequency
LTE Band 1 (2100MHz), Band 19 (800MHz), Band 21 (1500MHz)
W-CDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA Band 1 (2100MHz), Band 19 (800MHz)
Also says it must be unlocked SIM card but I believe that verizon's phones fit that.
Thanks in advance,

I think you will only get 3G with b-mobile. The Verizon S6 doesn't seem to have the bands from b-mobile's 2G & 4G networks.

Would that be fast enough to use google maps and read/send an occasional email? I mostly need it for those purposes.
I also have access to an older Iphone 4s (it was on verizon) but currently not activated on any carrier. Would that work better or would I need it activated w/ some carrier before I could swap the sims?
Thanks,

I don't think the Verizon iPhone 4s would work. If got had an iPhone 5s, then that would have a better chance working. I thinks that's when Apple bragged about supporting numerous networks across the world. 3G should be fine for emails. Navigation wise, perhaps? Idk what b-mobile's 3G speeds average at.

I was actually told the 4s should work (although mb not 4g speeds). It's on their list of supported phones as well.. Too bad the s6 isn't.
Going to go to verizon tom. to have it unlocked and hopefully it will work with the sim card when I get to Japan.
After owning a dual-sim Moto G2, I knew I wanted a G3 with dual sims and 2GB RAM (16GB ROM). Unfortunately this isn't available in the UK so I bought one from eBay which came from a seller in India.
I don't NEED 4G as I have a mobile hotspot which works very well, but I don't take this everywhere with me. Is it possible to flash the modem or something to get 4G in the UK using this model?
Thanks,

This isn't just a modem thing, flashing a different modem will not enable the missing bands, that "feature" is buried deep in a secure partition of the device... And since there isn't a dual SIM 4G 16GB model in your country, until someone figures out how to unlock all the LTE bands in the device, there is no way to enable this at this time.

Really?!? Wow maybe I can get this working then. A Wikipedia page (I can't post links just yet) says that India has 2300MHz (band 40) 4G frequency, whereas UK has 800, 1800 and 2600MHz according to a PC Advisor link which I also can't post
I'm on O2 (both sims - I know, a bit daft but that's what I've got) and I've confirmed 4G is enabled on both sims. I guess the frequency that India don't use, is the 800MHz one that O2 uses, yes? Sods law if so. But I'll be porting my number to another network ASAP if that is right..
Thanks
