What .zip files have you installed since jellybean stock rom?? So far i've downloaded AC!D SoundMod and I enjoy that. I'm interested in a better camera , photo editor, and some themes. I remember using a very good photo editor with a MIUI that I wish I could have on my stock rom.

Hi guys, i just have recently downgraded my ics to gb rom rooted. I missed some of the cool built-in apps that it has on ics compare to gb. Such as Gallery, Music, sms, dialer and browser. Is it possible to extract it from ics rom and replace it with my current ones? if not, could you recommend me some apps that i could get it over with? i mean i want to save some space(ram) thats all and make it look cool.

You could always put ICS back on the device and extract the APK using ADB (install QtADB, it's easier to use). The thing is : it probably won't work. Most apps "built for ICS" depends on libraries that are simply not there in previous version of the os. I know the Music app can be installed (google it) but I'm pretty sure the dialer and sms cannot.
thank you! thats all i needed to hear
I rooted my friends lg doubleplay (no custom roms whatsoever). And she really wants to change the system theme to blue or something. Is it possible to change the system theme without installing a custom rom. Can i just extract a theme manager from a rom and install it on her phone
There's a theme manager on the market, yes you can replace the system theme, but you need to be rooted and have cwm to flash it. If you are on cm9 search up cm themes if cm7, cm7 themes.

I think i made a huge mistake I tried to flash Galaxy note 2 camera and gallery and it crashed my camera and gallery app. Does anyone have a flashable (zip) file of stock jelly bean 4.1.1 Camera and Gallery so I can reinstall my file. Thank you in advance!!!!
Im running Stock rooted Jelly Bean (Verizon Sch-I535)
pull them from the rom.zip you had installed and push them back to system/app. make sure permissions are set like the rest of the app files and you will be good to go. they are calley SamsungCamera.apk and SecGallery2.apk.
Hi, I'm running CM10.0 (4.1.2) on my t989. I have an old galaxy discover that is running 4.0.4, so I was happy to find that things like messaging and contacts are the same as the discover. The version of 4.0.4 that came stock on the t989 , even though is the same ICS version of android as the discover had a different messaging app, different contact app, and a few other differences (clock, gallery, etc) while I like the messaging app and people app from the discover 4.0.4 better, I liked the clock and gallery from the t989 version of 4.0.4 better. I have the flashable zip for the t989 4.0.4. My question is, can I extract the app's from that zip file for things like clock and gallery, on a pc, or using an app like apk extractor without having that ROM running? I know I can extract system apps from a running ROM e.g. I can extract messaging apk off of cm10.0 (currently running) etc, but I'd like to extract the clock and gallery app from the t989 stock 4.0.4 zip file and install them on cm10.0. Even if I manage to find/extract these apk's and install them will they even run? The clock app on the stock t989 allows you to set your alarm from any mp3 on your phone, while the one from stock discover (same as cm10) forces you to set whatever mp3 you want as alarm, as a phone ringtone first. Does any one of you fine developers know a way of accomplishing the extraction of apks from flashable ROM zips

I've installed crDroid and stock camera is pretty bad. I have to install stock ROM's camera app but where to find the .apk? I don't want to install stock ROM just to extract stock ROM's camera .apk.
