Galaxy S3 CM10 bug? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi, I got the official stable cm10 from the cm forums and flashed it on my galaxy s3. Everything was fine until today where I found out a little bug that's been annoying me. Whenever I tap an app or a button, a small noise can be heard from the headset, not the speakers on the back. The noise is very negligible and hard to really hear, but still I can hear it every time I do something. Would this be a bug for the CM10 rom? Anyone with the same ROM experiencing similar experiences?

Yeah, it happens to me, too. It's just not our S3's, I experienced this on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 too.

[Q] Low in-call (handset) volume on Nexus S after OTA update to 4.0.4

Updated my Nexus S from Gingerbread to ICS 4.0.4 (OTA), but ever since then, the incall handset volume has been extremely low - so low that I can't even hear the person on the other end if I'm outside of any 'quiet' (library quiet) room. Has anyone else experienced this as well?
Any ideas on how I can fix this? I've read that the app "Volume +" might be a solution, but I would need to root the device and its also not a guarantee. Would love to hear from someone who has had this problem and how they rectified it...
Couple of details:
- Carrier: Rogers (in Canada)
- OS: ICS 4.0.4
- NOT Rooted
- Samsung Nexus S
Thanks a lot!

Volume+ won't fix your in call volume, believe me. So don't go that route, you'll only waste your time. The Nexus S has always had a very low volume, but I didn't notice a change from 2.3.7 to 4.0.4 to be frank.

Thanks for the heads up. If you didn't notice a change, then I'm wondering why I did. Do you think its worth it to re-install 4.0.4?
Do you know of any workaround to have this resolved if I did root it?

I find it strange myself. If you look around you'll see the internet is littered with "complaints" regarding the Nexus S low volume, dating back to the Gingerbread day too. I'm not sure a re-install of 4.0.4 will help you.
I have never really found a workaround to increase the in call volume, so if anyone knows I'd be interested too. Rooted or not, I don't mind.
Maybe problem of headset? I don't use the stock one, I have 2 other headset, one of them was too low ,other one was just too loud even hurts my ears...

Not headset, handset. As in the phone itself.
Oops, sorry, I guess I need a new glasses....
But I don't have problem with mobile itself as well, with KI1 radio, I even have to vol- When I during the calling...

I think, in your case maybe first to radio, try older one as we know ICS will update your radio to KI1

It's a known "issue" though, the Nexus S always had a very low in call volume compared to many other phones. It's not absolutely inaubdible, but it's definitely not your Nokia brick either. In a crowded place it gets difficult to hear, even with your ear pressed firmly against it. The speaker however does decently, but then everyone can hear your conversation.

More than once. The radio signal has little to do with the volume however.
I have same issue too, network call mic volume is very low, yahoo or skype or network call with loudspeaker on mic volume becomes normal

Charging - big lag!

Fellas!
I've noticed that my S3 isn't working at all, while charging. Yesterday, I've got a phonecall while S3 was getting some energy with my charger, and I couldn't even see who was calling (only vibration was there).
Once I unplug my phone, it's not laggish at all, ans works just fine.
Does some of you has the same problem? That's juet one of those issues which I got after getting the official 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Forum name post fail. No offence S3 users who posted here again, again and again, but READ FORUM NAMES BEFORE POSTING IN IT!
3 is not S3.
Sorry to say that, but I'm sure alot of people from this device forum will understand because they know what I'm talking about.

AOSP low volume on video record

Has the low volume issue been fixed? I saw on the ATT forum that "Task" fixed it but now suffers from call echoing. Don't see mentions of fixes anywhere else.
If its still low I will be going back to stock in the mean time.
Anyone?

flash and try.
CM10.1 has much better volume on video record than it did a month or so ago, so I believe the answer to your questions is yes it is fixed,
Is not as loud as stock, but is in stereo and much improved from where it was when cm10 or 10.1 were released.

I notice no difference in the volume with CM 10.1.1 over previous versions. I went back to stock just to see if it was a hardware issue (broken mic?) and it's not.
The issue is most apparent when uploading videos go Google+. Audio from CM video recordings is non-audible while TouchWiz video recordings are nice and loud. It's a shame too because this is the only thing I think TouchWiz has over CM.

[Q] LiquidSmooth v2.1 Stable (VZW) - Skype

I've been running the latest version of LiquidSmooth v2.1 on my VZW Galaxy S3 for several weeks now and it has been great! Had a couple of freeze-ups, but I think it is great for a daily driver. The battery life has been phenomenal as well. The only problem I'm running into now is when using Skype. When I make or take a call, I cannot get the audio from the person on the other end to go through my speaker on the back of the phone. It does however come through the speaker on the front of the phone, but that makes video calls rather pointless if you have to hold the handset up to your ear when you want to hear the other person. I have clicked on every button while on the call and it will not put the audio through the back speaker. However, on a normal voice call, it'll come through the back speaker.
Anyone else having this problem? I've rebooted and performed a battery pull to no avail.
Thanks for the help in advance.
I never had it with this phone but I've had that problem with my droid incredible 2; what fixed it was plugging in headphones and then pulling them out. Took me at least 2 tries to actually get it working, don't know if it'll apply for this device as well.

So, you don't have the problem with Skype on the S3 running LiquidSmooth? But you did have it on the DInc 2?
I'll definitely give it a go. Thanks!

[Q] HTC One S-CM 10.1.3 RC2 Slow screen wakeup

Hi.
Ive installed Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 RC 2 yesterday. Everything is amazing, theres just one little nasty thing.
When I lock my screen it takes 3-4 secs to wake up again, this is really annoying. Anyone else with this problem?
I found this thread with almost the same problem, but on another phone and it was solved with 10.1.3.
Thanks

I have the same problem.
It still has the lag.
In other roms that have the lag fix, i still get the lag.
I suggest you, like i did, to try a rom that is sense based. No lag issues. or one with a kernel version of 3.0x
Thanks, but I would like to stay with Cyanogenmod. Does anyone else know a solution? And will it be fixed in the next Version or 10.2?

The lag on the lock screen is a known issue. There is no known fix for 10.1.3. Latest nightlies for CM 10.2 have solved that issue.
I agree with you that CM 10.1.3 is terrific with the exception of the lock screen issue. I'd recommend waiting until the 10.2 ROM is stable before switching.

Same problem here
I have the same problem here, it is quite annoying.
Also if I am listening to music when I unlock the screen the music stops for a seconds. Is anybody else experiencing this?
Thanks for the information, so it seems that I have to live with it.

Is there any information on when its going to get stable? Can we expect this within a few weeks or is it still months away?
Thanks in advance
Isnt there a fix for 10.1 or to adapt the fix of 10.2?
I don't think so(

I'm having the same issue. FYI there appears to be a bug report here: google jira CYAN-78 (apparently I can't post outside links yet)
