[Q] Multi Window - HTC Sensation

After watching videos of Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I've thought that the multiwindow function was awesome, so I was hoping to find something similar for our devices. So after a bit searching, I came across this thread for SGS2!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006684
I was wondering if this mod will work with our device as the .zip file is now, without any modifications, or if we need to port it in one or another way...
Wouldn't that be great?
And if it needs to be ported, are someone able to do it? I really want this mod, but I don't know how to port it!
Thanks!
Edit: After reading line nr. 2 on the other thread, I've found out that only Android 4.1.2 and deodexed ROMs support this, so the question is... Do anybody wanna make a port of it?

[REQUEST]Is it possible to port Galaxy S Music App?

I want to port the music app of the Samsung Galaxy S, but the app don't install in the Nexus One...
Why don't install? Can you help me?
i expect its because the music app requires some framework specific to Samsung phones.
what did you do to port it.. did you de-odex it and re-sign it or just copy app?
i have galaxy s.
You didn't read this post properly, it has not been done yet. And may never be able to be done. In my personal opinion it's possible... But it needs someone that is good at tinkering with the framework.

[Q] HTC launcher on Samsung device

Does anyone know if it is possible to have an HTC launcher on a Samsung device?
Google gives me nothing and I really miss the Sense 3.0 launcher.
I already have those far from perfect skins and themes, but I want the real thing.
I want the carousel effect, the 3D effect, and the floaty lockscreen widgets.
I imagine that it can't really be all that hard, can it.
Can't it just be installed like all the custom launchers?
Or it could be extracted from a HTC ROM and placed in a Galaxy rom instead the Touchwiz launcher.
Anyway, I hope someone can inform me about all this.
I would like to know about this as well.

1. The launcher relies on the HTC Sense framework which refers me to point #2:
2. The HTC Sense framework is proprietary and closed-source .
So it is not possiele to just grab a random HTC sense 3.0/3.5 custom Rom and make it compatible with different hardware?
And if so, how are those custom Roms made in the first place?
If i find the time, i'm gonna experiment with this.

It's not possible even with same hardware , you may even get sued by HTC
Herpderp Adreno + Tegra.
Before this phone I had a HTC hd2 and it ran Sense 3.0, doesn't that prove enough?
I don't think we're on the same page.

Wasn't HD2 capable to run both android and wm?
There's a video on YT that presents Incredible S - stock running on Galaxy S.
Oh well , you can do that.....but you cannot make it public.....might get a C&D letter from HTC
Herpderp Adreno + Tegra.
Thanks, i'll keep it to myself then.
I'll post the portable results here.

Import from One X??

Anyone know if we can put on I9300 the unlocker screen from One X? That animated screen unlocker is fantastic I think. I found the unlocker but I didn't find the animated sky from behind (image). If anyone know how to port this to i9300 please let me know.
bump
Wrong section and you'd need a Sense 4.0 port otherwise it'd never be the same as the One X
That's a sense only unlock screen won't happen without a port as stated above. This stuff has been gone over SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many times it just gets stupid to read.
Widget Locker does a good job of recreating the Sense lockscreen. I would suggest that until someone ports it over.

N8013 4.1.2 Update Missing Features?

Got a question.
I got the update for 4.1.2 on my 8013. Everything is sweet. But i thought we was suppose to get the ink effect feature like i have on my note II and also where can i change my toggle buttons? i know where all this is on my note II but have they left it off this one?
Thx Wicklet
Anyone know or was i missinformed? Bump
Looked it up its pretty cool but ultimatly not the end of the world if its missing

There are many features that note 2 has which for some reason Samsung has decided not to include in note 10.1 so nothing we can do
I have found an alternative on the forums that are flashable and do give you the ink effec, might want to give it a look see if it's something you are interested in.

Is there any practical use for this feature?
For the ink effect not really other than being kinda neat. Something to show off what ur tablet can do that others cant. But i do like the option of being able to turn off and move my toggles around. Thats a handy feature. I just had read in a couple of places that these was in this update as well. So was just asking to see if i had missed them. Thx for the replies.

[Q] Multiscreen

Hey guys!
You know how in the S4 and note 3 you can have more than 1 screen at the same time?
Is there any way to get this in the N5? It surely has a screen big enough and enough CPU power.
Cheers!
Yes there's a multiwindow feature that exists in some Roms. You'll have to explore the development sections to see which ones have it. I know for sure that beanstalk has it, but there are others as well.
