SD Card Backup via Wifi - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi,
I'm searching a program what will backup my sdcard automatically if the phone is connected to es special wifi.
i mean the same function like Appl's iPhone / iPad backup via Wifi with iTunes.
Is there any program / app for Android available what can do this?
All apps what i have found have not the right functions what i need.
I need the follow functions:
- Automatically backup of selectet folders from my sd card if the phone connected to a specified Wifi
- scheduled backup and catch up the backup if the wifi is not available to the scheduled time
- send the backup via wifi to a selected PC ( if PC is not online catch up the backup when the PC is back online.
- optional send the backup to a NAS
- optional send the backup to a Cloud
- optional send my a information via mail if the backup with the finished stat.
Thanks
Nico

I use this for my pictures and the "custom" folders option for a select olfew other folders.
I ftp directly to my NAS, though you could set up an ftp server on your computer instead.

[APP-REQUEST]Foldersync alike

Do you people know any FolderSync alike app ?
I want to backup my sdcard to my PC through FTP or SMB (ftp doesn't work well so I use SMB) - it backups nicely, but it's like automatically constantly backing up everything in a loop... I want it to automatically backup every night at 3AM, but it starts backup whenever wifi is avalible/whenever I run the app... -.-
Any ideas if there is a similiar working app ? It would be great if the app would sync only the files that are not yet stored on PC.

How to backup app data?

Hi guys!
To get from 8.1 Preview to 8.1 I need to do a reset (at least that's what I read so far).
Before that I would like to backup the progress I did in some games and maybe the config of the mail app.
How can that be done on the Surface RT?
Thanks!
The mail app (and many other apps) will back up and automatically restore their own configuration (via the "Cloud" otherwise known as roaming their data through SkyDrive), although any email which has been downloaded locally and but no longer on the server would be lost. Local app storage is in your %LocalAppData% folder, I forget exactly where.
Skydrive backed up mine just fine this morning.

When I open the SkyDrive App I just get to choose which files I want to transfer to SkyDrive.
There is no backup option that let's me choose to backup app data.
How did you do it?

Backup to laptop

My wife is not tech savvy so this needs to be simple to do.
I installed Titanium Backup on my wife's rooted nexus 5 (kitkat) and it backs up her apps and data regularly during the night. (some time ago I also did a nandroid backup for her and moved it to her laptop)
For privacy reasons we don't want to backup to the cloud or Google.
Is there a simple way to *automatically* create and move backups from her phone to her laptop preferably via our home wlan wifi?
If not automatically, how can she do it simply other than by direct cable?
Thanks.
Get a file explorer that can transfer via ftp. Click and drag your back ups to and from your PC.
BitTorrent sync
give bittorrent sync a try it automatically backups data to your laptop/pc via wifi/data( you can set it to wifi only also)
You also have adb wireless, but it is a little slow and a ftp should be easier for your wife .

Wireless sync to SD card on Kitkat without Root

I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat). I was used to synchronizing files and photos between my phone and PC using SyncMe Wireless from bvaisoft (available from Google Play store). SyncMe Wireless was able to only send new photos from my device to the PC and update any file modified after the last sync from my PC to my device over Wifi very quickly. Since Kitkat I was not able to use this app because of loss of write access to the SD card. Files could not be synchronized between PC and device. Developer has also given up – ‘Devices with Android 4.4.2 update do not have write permission for external sd card. Nothing I can do about it' .
I discovered a workaround for this which may not be perfect but gives back some of the lost features :victory:. I will not go into the basics of using the app or sharing Windows folders over the network. This is only to show that two way sync over Wifi to SD card running Kitkat without Root is still possible.
First move the app (SyncMe Wireless) to the SD card. Share the PC folder you would like to synchronize with your device using Windows sharing features. Open the app and add computer – it will search your Wifi network for available computers. After successfully accessing your computer tap on the computer name and select ‘add sync folder’. You need to define a folder on the PC and a folder on the device to start synchronizing. The app offers excellent options from copying only to device, copying only to PC or for two way synchronizing. All folders shared on the network on your PC should be available on the app. The tricky part is defining device folder. Select ‘device folder’ and browse to storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.bv.wifisync and select com.bv.wifisync as the device folder. This is the app folder now located on your external SD card for which the app still has write access to. You can create and select subfolders within the com.bv.wifisync to sort the files you want to synchronize between your PC (e.g., storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.bv.wifisync/myfiles). Now within minutes I can sync a folder on my PC with a defined specific folder on my SD card. True that you can’t write to anywhere on the SD card but this has given me a lot of freedom while running Kitkat .

ANDROID PC SUITE TO BACKUP, RESTORE DATA, TAKE SCREENSHOT, ETC.
MoboPlay is a free Android PC suite to backup & restore Android data , transfer media files, take screenshot of Android from PC , view device in fullscreen, manage files, install apps, manage contacts & messages, etc. It exhibits all the features of other popular PC suites like MoboGenie, vShare and MoboRobo, but the features which make MoboPlay unique are space (junk) cleaner, the screenshot function, and the fullscreen view. It also shows some software and hardware details of the connected Android device along with storage usage.
You can easily backup and restore your phone’s data like contacts, messages, call logs, images, apps, and music. The fullscreen view of the device can help you take better screenshots using the built-in screenshot feature. It also helps you transfer media files like photos and music from your phone to PC and vice versa. You can explore and install tons of apps and games directly to your Android device. If you wish to clear up your storage, then use the “Space Cleaner” to remove all the junk files and free up storage.
Let me explain all the important features of MoboPlay and how you can use them for your Android device.
How to Backup and Restore Data of Your Android Phone:
Step 1: After opening this PC suite, click the “ToolBox” tab to browse various options including backup and restore.
Step 2: Click the “Backup” option in the toolbox to select items or data of your Android phone which you want to backup. It allows you to backup contacts, messages, call logs, images, apps, and music. You can also set the destination folder where you want the backup to be stored.
Step 3: Once you’re done selecting items and assigning the destination folder, simply click the “Quick Backup” button to start the backup. It will automatically create a backup file with all the items you’ve selected in the destination folder.
Step 4: To restore your data from any backup file, select the “Restore” option in the toolbox. A popup will appear with all the backup files and item types. You can check and uncheck any of the item types from the list. When you’re done with selecting a backup file and associated items, hit the “Restore” button, that’s all.
How to Take Screenshots of Android Phone from PC:
Step 1: MoboPlay makes taking screenshots of your Android phone from PC much easier. You can either select the “Device” tab to take screenshots or you can use the fullscreen feature to take better screenshots.
Step 2: Click the “Device” tab and you will see a “Screenshot” option at the bottom of the device image. The screen which you’re using currently on your phone gets auto-refreshed in Moboplay. Simply click the “Screenshot” option and you will be able to capture and save a screenshot of the device screen.
Step 3: If you want to take better screenshots, then I suggest you use the fullscreen feature. Go to the “ToolBox” tab and select “Fullscreen” option. A fullscreen window will appear along with the “Screenshot” button at the bottom. Click the button to take screenshots of your Android phone as shown below.
How to Transfer Media from Android to PC and PC to Android:
Step 1: Moboplay also allows you to transfer media like photos, music, and videos from Android to PC and PC to Android. Go to the “Device” tab and you will see a “Media” section on the left with folders like Camera Images, Albums, Wallpapers, Music, and Videos.
Step 2: Browse any of the folders to transfer media from your Android phone to PC. When you select a media file, you will see an “Export” button at the top. Click the button to select the destination folder and transfer file.
Step 3: If you want to transfer files from PC to any of the folders in the “Media” section, then click the “Upload” button adjacent to the “Export” button. After that, you can simply browse your PC and select the files which you want to transfer to your Android phone.
How to Manage Contacts and Messages of Android from PC:
Step 1: Click the “Device” tab and you will be able to see two folders named Contacts and Messages below the “Media” section.
Step 2: Click the “Contacts” folder to manage all your Android contacts. You can add new contacts, import and export contacts as VCF files, delete contacts, edit contact information, and send SMS directly from your PC to any of the contacts.
Step 3: If you want to manage all your Android messages, then select the “Messages” folder. All your messages will be visible on the screen, where you can delete and view messages. You can also start a conversation with any of the message senders right on your PC.
How to Clean Junk Files on Android:
Step 1: The last useful and important feature of MoboPlay is the “Space Cleaner”. Go to the “ToolBox” tab and select the option “Space Cleaner”. As soon as you do that, a popup window will appear with two tabs named APK Files Cleanup and Large Files Cleanup.
Step 2: It automatically scans through all the APK files to find and clear junk files. But if you want to free up more space, then try the large files cleanup.
Step 3: Simply click the “Large Files Cleanup” tab and hit the “Scan” button. It will scan your entire phone for large videos, images, unnecessary documents, etc. You can click the “Clean” button associated with each junk or large file to remove it instantly.
The Final Verdict:

Sadface, well I'm not sure if it's possible at all, I was just wondering
Looks like a great piece of software tho ^^
Actually, I am using a phone manager that it online-based. The tool is called AirMore. It is a free web-based app that is used to manage phone files on the computer. You can import/export files on or from your computer to your cellphone. I love it because it is wireless. I just connect via WiFi and start managing my files.
