Verizon gs3 running the cleanrom5. Is there such a zip to remove the clock from the status bar? Have been looking around the net and have tried numerous options to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I can't answer your question... just wanted to add that I'm stock and I wish we could remove the clock from the status bar...it kind of makes widget clocks seem useless.

Don't know if this helps as it requires knowledge of decompiling and compiling but this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002705 is a guide for adding a toggle for that.
Go to the themes and apps section and download kindacrap mods. There's an option in the install to have no clock. You can customize a lot of other things also. Works great with CleanRom 5.

As i was a owner of the great hd2 and loved the hyperdroid roms!
i decided to try and port the theme to the sensation!
This is at the early stages
so far:
battery
pulldown and quick settings
removed recent apps from pulldown
Im having a bit of trouble making the notification bar semi transparent
so any advice would be helpful! ive made the png files semi transparent! so i can only guess its in a xml somewhere!
Any way lets us now if you like! or if somethings could be better!
Flash with cwm
Thanks to thyparancy as i am using his "update zip"
I like the style of the notification pulldown. For some reason though, I don't like battery percentages in my notification bar. I know it's more effecient, but meh. Is there a way I could leave it stock? What would I remove from the zip
Thanks
Have you seen this for transparent status bar?

Just remove the framework-res from the zip then flash! The notification pulldown are in the systemui only!

Of course, I'd guess there's the modified files inside the .bat you could extract and build into your theme

Hey guys, just wondering if there is a specific process for removing icons from notifications bar? Specifically I'd like to remove the AM/PM, alarm clock, and the silent icon.
I found this post :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780614
Would that work?

You could try. It seems like you should read up on smali though if you don't know how to use it. If you are gonna try it make sure you have a backup or at least make a revert package.
So I'm reading up on theme porting. I have one theme that I realllllly like everything on except the status bar. I want to port the status bar from one theme over to the other. After I decompile the. Apk's does anyone know where I can find the status bar coding? I'm a total newb and know nothing about Linux so I'm running blind here. Any help appreciated.

I was not sure of where to post this so i posted in both themes and general discussion, i was just wondering whether there is any MOD/APP that would be able to change the look of the Stock TouchWiz status bar to look like the Stock Android status bar?
I was also wondering the same thing
is there? i've seen a lot of screenshots with the stock status bar, and i really want it. is there anyone out there that could give us some help? Thanks a lot if anyone could.
Well, you can use a mod call Domination.

there's 3Minit Framework, it allows alot of costumization even more than the statusbar
