Removing icons from notifications bar - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hey guys, just wondering if there is a specific process for removing icons from notifications bar? Specifically I'd like to remove the AM/PM, alarm clock, and the silent icon.
I found this post :

Would that work?

You could try. It seems like you should read up on smali though if you don't know how to use it. If you are gonna try it make sure you have a backup or at least make a revert package.

Name on Status Bar?

I was curious if I can actually put my name on the Status Bar, and it's always visible, not just when I pull it down.
You mean where it says Verizon Wireless?

If you know how to code/understand smali and baksmali you could possibly do it. If you modify the status bar png you could do it, but then it'll overlap your existing icons, looking like crap.
CM7 there is an apk that'll let you change the Verizon Wireless in the pull down to whatever you want, but that's only in the pull down notification window.

try the app "ccname" if rooted.
With the new MIUI update it displays your carrier name in the status bar if there are no notifications. With Change Carrier Name you can change it to whatever you wish and have it stay in the status bar.
I used CCname. I don't understand any of that lol. Very basic stuff that I understand. CM7 doesn't display the carrier in the status bar always. So I can only have it when I pill the bar down. I figured I couldn't have it always there. Just seeing if anybody had any apk that could do it.

Need help with theme for bionix

Ok i love the bionix rom i just dont care for the white status and dropdown menu so i used UOT kitchen to cook a theme and i tried flashing the. Zip with framework-res. apk inside through cwm but nothing changed so i just pushed it manually and did the same with twframework and everything changed and looked nice except the icons at the top of the notification dropdown menu look like the stock froyo icons but everything else in the dropdown menu looks the way it should. I also cant find where to change the dropdown notification icons in UOT anyways? There not even an option? You figure it would be under status bar mods but i dont see anything? Anybody know a solution?

Heres some pics!! just remember there's still a couple of things that still need to be adjusted but i can handle that i just need to figure out the drop down notification icon problem. Also i forgot to mention the time is missing in the notification bar?? It showed it in green text in UOT why doesn't it show up?
Probably because you set your time color the same as your status bar color

You can't change the color of the time in UOT Kitchen only the date I would maybe make the status bar green and your icons black.
And you can cook the twframework-res.apk and make your own drop down menu. Only change the status bar in uot kitchen and you will have to unzip it and rename it back to twframework-res.apk copy it then replace it in system/framework.

That one has poor reviews, and doesn't look to be free...
Sorry, I guess this is a necropost, but I'm looking for the same thing, and have been for quite some time.
I'm rooted, running CM 10.1, and running the XPosed framework. I've seen a couple of themes, but they always do things like change the dialer layout, or something... I really just want to turn that shade of blue white, and I guess just doing that in the notification bar would be fine.

Anything is possible if PAC ROM already flashed in your device. It has so many option to customize your phone's look and feel. Have a try and good luck.
Is there any xposed module that can change the notification panel's background color to match that of the running current app via the color of the statusbar?

[Q] Removed clock from status bar?

Verizon gs3 running the cleanrom5. Is there such a zip to remove the clock from the status bar? Have been looking around the net and have tried numerous options to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I can't answer your question... just wanted to add that I'm stock and I wish we could remove the clock from the status bar...it kind of makes widget clocks seem useless.

Don't know if this helps as it requires knowledge of decompiling and compiling but this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002705 is a guide for adding a toggle for that.
Go to the themes and apps section and download kindacrap mods. There's an option in the install to have no clock. You can customize a lot of other things also. Works great with CleanRom 5.
