why would you expect the p3110 to be different than the P3113 and P3100 . Its all the same.

[Q] HW composer and JB - No "full butter effect" until...

So, I've stumbled upon an info regarding that HW composer does not work properly, thus any Samsung phone CAN'T get "full butter effect" of JB.
That is why CM10 we have is not as butter as it should be, I mean sometimes it is, sometimes not...
So is this can only be resolved when Samsung officially updates our device to JB or there is a way to get this hwcomposer to work porperly?
Thanks.
Moved To General
This in no way can be considered development, post in the correct section!
this is interesting. a answer from a dev with insight would be fantastic.
I would also love to know this because I've installed locerra's ROM, but wasn't as smooth as CM9, so I reverted back.

here is the attempt for a "fix", it's still WIP, respective in review:
http://r.cyanogenmod.com/#/c/19925/
until this isn't done no exynos4 device (gs2, note, tab7.7, ...) will get "butter" in JB
(or samsung releases an JB update for one of these devices...)!

Thnx! One these is a very important detail, cause I have doubts that 7.7 would be the first one in the line...

This update did not solve the problem.
Butter you may have now only for non-exinos socs
7.7 Project Butter
So in order for the galaxy tab 7.7 CM10 to have full project butter, Samsung will have to release and official OTA JB update to a device that has the same chipset?
I hear the Galaxy Note is expected to get OTA Jelly Bean and it has the same exact chipset as the Galaxy Tab 7.7.
Will we get vsync and triple buffering and 60fps on CM10 for the galaxy tab 7.7 with the release of OTA Jelly Bean on the Galaxy Note?

[Q] Just got a Note 10.1 (GT-N8010), what roms should I use?

Alright, so I'm an Android noob and I'm not looking for anything too crazy. I just want something that's closest to stock Android and is stable. Any recommendations?

frankly speaking its ALMOST useless to use custom roms on Tablets.... cause most of the GOOD developers who make the roms for tablets like CHARCK, dont own the tablet so now development... so stick with the stock...
AND GUYS FORGET THAT SAMMY WOULD RELEASE JELLY BEAN OFFICIALLY FOR NOTE 10.1 BEFORE NEXT YEAR....! im selling my note 10.1 to get nexus 10 when its available...
Again we see this happening dear Aami if you want to sell the tab you are most welcome to do so its your choice but can please show proof for your statement that the JB update wont be available until next year please dont speculate and turn away others.
I enjoy redemption

It is basicly a themed version of stock with some stuff added in. I enjoy it

[Q] Multiple Users

Does anyone know if the new 4.2.2 roms for Galaxy Tab 2 7" support multiple users as it should? Anyone tested? Thanks!

The only "new" 4.2.2 ROMs for the tab 2 7" are custom ones like CM 10.1 - and yes they do support multi-users

multi user..
Yes, CM 10.1 supports multuser. However there is one frustrating thing about sharing of apps. User 2 cannot access user 1 apps.
You can use app-share application from play store to enable this feature. Same problem with sdcard content. user 2 cannot see user 1 content when connected to computer.

Google removed the TabletUI code since Android Jellybean 4.2.2, so you won't find it in any android more than 4.1.2.

Best ROM for speed/stability

Hello.
I've got a Tab2 7" for about 2 years, allways hoped it would be updated but I guess Samsung never cared... Still in 4.1.2
In your opinion what is the best rom for a daily usage based in speed and stability?
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

All tabs are different, just as people are. Just download and install. Your opinion is the one that will matter to you. Flashing is fun! Just have fun.[emoji4]

As user above said, different peiple prefer different ROMs. But, if you are looking for a light ROM that is stable, try SlimKat. If you want Lollipop, there is SlimLP and CM12.1, but they will have some bugs that KK doesn't.
Thanks
Will take a look at that rom.
