Hi
This is my first android app its simple application to set different fancy icons to your device status bar.my application is similar to ios cydia tweak called "Zeppelin" .hope you people like this on android.as am new to android development so please bear with me for the any mistake..
Features:
1.Add Your own Text(Title and Message for your Icon)
2.Set On Boot option (Just long press the icon which you want to set when your device boot up(Restarts))

It goes away because it's just a notification icon not ongoing application icon .i will change it to icon for ongoing application so that ill will remain after pressing clear all...but i don't know as am new to all this,whether it will consume more memory if application is running in background when i change it to icon for ongoing application instead of simple notification icon..correct me please

There is restriction for icon size in notification bar for different hand sets...that's why i have not added that option..

arghh add Liverpool pls.. and please do something that app doesn't appear in notification window only the status bar icon should... allow root permission m sure no 1 here would have problem with it.. or make 2 versions one with root and no notification tray.. that pisses me off.. ( just a suggestion) and add Liverpool please m sure most people gona get screwed.. hehe 4stars on store untill Liverpool is added

Thanks buddy..i really wanted to add more feature but due to root permission...i mean for normal user rooting is something very big..but i love your suggestion about another version(rooted)....Will work on it..Aaah how can i forget Liverpool..will add for sure and more teams also....

Can I request some more things?
1. Sony Ericsson logo (The green one)
2. A Sony logo
3. Some more options (add custom text, for example, when the status is dropped.
4. Higher res images: I don't knows if it's my eyes, but it doesn't seem to be so good. Im using a 720p phone, which turned to be standard for high end phones. Try to include higher res images, not that it even requires a bigger app.

All the Request accepted..thanks for the suggestions ..and i agree few image looks bit blur..and will replace thm soon..but most of the images are of hi res,and i have tested on Samsung S3,Lg p970,p500 and HTC One x..they looked fine..could you plz post screen shot if possible..

As i said, they could be only my eyes. For example, the Android one seems a bit blue-ish, and dark.

Transparent Statusbar For Note 3 Lollipop
Instructions:
1. Your Phone must be Rooted.
2. Download and install SQLite Editor from Playstore.
3. Open SQLite Editor and in APPS Tab find Setting storage and select it.
4. Then select settings.db
5. Then select system
6. Then find these items & tap on them & select Edit Record & Change the values to 1.
android.wallpaper.setting_systemui_transparency = 0 to 1
lockscreen_wllpaepr_transparent = 0 to 1
SQLite Editor Istruction's Picture:
Click on the picture to get full size.
Note: If you don't change the wallpaper, this mod will be constant, but if you change the wallpaper you should do these steps again.
This is because of Art System and changing IDs.

For weather on lockscreen, just put the Weather widget on your homescreen, then find your city Using GPS.
then you will see, weather information on lockscreen.
to make transparenct wallpaper on lockscreen, i think you should set the values to 1 then restart your device.

I already have these things done.
I am using Note 4 weather so it's transparent already..
So, the initial questions persists
For the sake of clarification-
you placed the Weather widget on Lock Screen using Additional Info option of Lock Screen-right?..

possibilities:
1. delete widget from homescreen then put it again.
2. clear cache & Data of Weather App & Unified Daemon.
3. after installing note 4 widget, you see two widgets (Transparent & S5 Like) put S5 like widget and search your city using GPS. after finding your city, you can replace it with transparent widget.
( Note : in my phone, i couldn't find my city with Transparent one.)

I think it's something more complex.. I have modded my phone heavily with Note 4 settings

[MODS] Small Collection of Tweaks!

Hello! This is a bunch of tweaks I created to make Samsung devices better by modding the interface to really polish it. Enjoy!
Installation
Installing is simple. Navigate to the play store and download the required packages.
Substratum
Substratum Required Addon For Samsung
Samsung System Mods via Playstore (RECOMMENDED)
Samsung System Mods Direct APK (BACKUP)
Tips
- A reboot is usually required to apply the tweak.
- Some tweaks are incompatible on some devices.
- Oreo is in beta (until I get it)
- The nav bar heights are broken on the note and oreo. I can't fix it. Sorry.
- I can do requests. All I ask is you consider donating.
- You can hide status bar icons. You must use another APK: SystemUI Tuner (from the play store)
More mods are coming! Please leave suggestions for more mods you want so I can try and make them. I've been getting lots of positive feedback. Also, Tigerhoods, Pimpmaneaton, Venom, and Crayonyes have been helping me a bit, so big thanks to them .

Once installed, it modifies your window animation scales in Developer Settings. It only supports English and a few others. Still working on it. If you get a dev menu FC, just delete the apk, set your animation scales to off, and reinstall it. It won't have all the options but it'll still work (IE: 0x, 0.1x, 0.2x, etc..) even though the corresponding text is wrong.
More are coming! Please leave suggestions for more mods you want so I can try and make them. I've been getting lots of positive feedback.

I hope someday you will find a mod to disable the gradient in the area of the status bar and a bit under it when we set a wallpaper as home screen or lock screen. Somewhere in the lines of the code of the system ui, Samsung gives the command to put this gradient. On the other hand if the user sets a live wallpaper , Samsung doesn't give this command. More about this matter here :

For the long press, I have to check if I can add this, since I can only mod the res and not the actual java. In the meantime there's this app here that works for this:

Just added this. Check the original post, I added this, as well as one to remove the battery icon from statusbar.

Can you make one that removes the battery percentage but leaves the battery icon for the status bar? Thanks and good work!

Thank you. There must be a line in the code that sets the gradient automatically on when an image is set as wallpaper in home screen or lock screen. I hope you will find the solution to disable this gradient command.

Hello. Maybe you can also remove the Alarm Clock Icon in the Status bar.
By the way i have all of the tweaks in my phone except for AOD tweaks.

It seems to work nicely. The only issue that I encounter is that the icons are either to big (font size Default) or to small (font size small).

I set font size= default .and display size small. Try it if you like it

I add dark build and wallpapers.....

Nood question but do I just run the apk? And that's it or am I supposed to do something special?

After installing click on done and tap on home and choose pixel luncher and tap on always.......done.
After that enable tick that showed by app..

Wouldn't let me do it that way I had to download an apk installer but everything works great the dark theme is awesome better and more smooth than making it through Nova or other launchers. Cheers!!

Hold on home screen and you can see home setting .....
For removing search bar in bottom you can use APK editor and some code knowledge.....

Check in quick settings drop down menu. Maybe you need to edit the icons and add the new one.
Also a menu should appear on settings, extensions.
