[SENSE UI][CM7] 99% Complete theme ported from Optimus V

Hey guys, I made a sense UI theme a while back ago for the optimus v, but it is really a universal theme. All of the elements need for the theme are included in the zip file, but things like the status bar mods and the fonts won't work because there is no cyanogenmod for the triumph yet. Once it becomes available, You can access the full theme. Changelog in second post. LINK TO THE ORIGINAL POST
*Quick Note: I will only continue to update this theme if people respond and offer their criticism, suggestions, and general thoughts. I can't do this alone, I need your help*

HOW TO FIX "ERROR INVALID_KEY" WITH FACEBOOK WIDGET
In order to get functionality from the Facebook widget back, as per THIS, you will need to uninstall the facebook app from your phone, then uninstall and reinstall LP sense ui app. From there, when you enter your credentials in the widget settings, it should work. After it is done synching and whatnot, you may reinstall Facebook app. It *should* work.
Step One
Now you will need to install LP Sense UI, provided at the bottom of this thread. THIS IS NOT THE PAID VERSION, IT IS THE REGULAR FREE VERSION, HOWEVER WIDGETS DO WORK.
You will need to set it up properly for it to work. Do the following:
From Homescreen:
Menu>Preferences>Sense Mod Configuration
Set Number of docks to "1"
Dock Background>Standard (be sure to press it, even though it is selected, or else it wont work properly)
Home button on app drawer "on"
Enable auto Rotation "off"

That should be it for the launcher. You can set other things how you like, I usually use "Rotate 2" as my transition, it looks great with the theme

Step Two
You will need to purchase "WidgetLocker" from the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
It is $1.99 USD, but it is worth it, it is helpful for many other themes and is great as a lockscreen in general.
be sure to open WidgetLocker from the app drawer to open it in edit or "Tool" mode.
FROM "TOOL MODE:"
Menu>Settings>Enable WidgetLocker
(Skip this if you don't have root) Menu>Settings>Advanced>Root Helper>Check All Boxes, set Autoswipe Pin/Password to "Auto"
Menu>Settings>Advanced>Check "Hide Notification Icon" and "Hide Interaction Warning"
Configure the rest how you prefer.

While you are in tool mode, long press every app, slider and widget and drag it to the trash bin at the bottom of the screen. Then do this:
Menu>Add>Custom Slider
Select "Sense" from the box directly underneath the picture of the slider.
Save.
You will need to long press the slider and drag it all the way to the bottom of the screen, being careful not to put it in the trash bin (or else you'd have to make a new slider )

Step Three
Install any of the clocks in from the included "clocks" folder found under "apps"
Should you install the flipclock app, be warned:
NOTE: THIS CLOCK HAS NO FLIPPING ANIMATION. HOPEFULLY, I WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE ONE THAT DOES FLIP IN THE FUTURE, BUT NO GUARANTEES. I WOULD NEED A LOT OF HELP.
Step Six
In order to get the toggle widgets, such as wifi, bluetooth, gps, vibrate, silence, etc. you need to Purchase Beautiful Widgets from the Market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.levelup.beautifulwidgets&feature=search_result
I have included a brightness control and battery indicator themed to look Sense-esque. They are at the bottom of the Post.
FOR THE BATTERY INDICATOR:
1. Apply Widget to Homescreen
2. Tap on it
3. Select the "Preferences" tab in the top right corner.
4. Check every single box, especially Swap Low/High res. You can select the temperature unit of your choice.

Screencaps will be uploaded when I get to a computer. They will be from my optimus, so it will be running cm7 and have complete theme. Getting a triumph soon, once I get enough money.

Updated the OP with screenshots.

Is it possible to just get the black bar for the Triumph? I've tried multiple methods including using Metamorph, and Gingerbar. All to no avail. I was hoping you might have found another way

You could get root access by using gingerbreak method, then get a custom recovery, I believe clockworkmod is available for the triumph. If you got ahold of the files you might be able to flash it via recovery, by I'm just taking stabs in the dark. *Not responsible for any damage that happens*

I'm more than a little nervous to apply the status bar hack, mostly because what I've read makes it sound like an awfully involved process that could include either (de) odexing every file on my phone's system partition, or else crashing my phone. So if this works, I will be amazed.

Thanks for the reply. There is a deodexed stock rom available, if it helps. I will update the op soon and include a new lockscreen I found. The more replies I get, the more updates I put out.

My phone has rejected the stock de-odexed ROM. Repeatedly Although I also haven't tried any others (so don't lose hope yet?)
Is a de-odexing required to make a theme? (Can an odexed version work instead?) Guess I forgot the stuff I was researching... Otherwise I would probably be clever enough to make the status bar text white.

Yes, the theme is universal for the most part. The only thing that wouldn't work in theory is the status bar theme. That requires CM7, which if you have on your Optimus V would work fine. I developed this theme on an optimus v, if that means anything lol

I haven't worked on this theme in ages. They should be included in the .zip file, if not, just Google "adw sense launcher" and the guy who made that launcher also made the clock themes.

(Mini Theme) 4.0.4 LRK SystemUI Sensation Theme Port

Update 3rd August 2012
Theme now is just one version combined layout style of previous 2 versions
includes all the minor changes from previous update(touched up data icons)
removed search icon because not working

This is a mini theme I guess. It is a port of the sensation rom systemui.apk and the battery charge anim works just like the original
It is only the systemui, criskelo-res and quicksettings apks and it is 6 toggles on screen because I don't think the 8 toggles suits.
Suits best with a blue or stock framework.
It is not fantastic and may need some touch ups but is at a point I am happy with and ok for now
Attached is two versions one with carrier text and one without (for now unless I can get it to look normal with the carrier text)
the pictures show the difference.
This is working on 4.0.4 LRK Classic rom but should work on other 4.0.4 roms too but the usual make a backup and flash at own risk
Both are cwm flashable

For the one with Carrier Text, are you able to add the additional icons beside it ? E.g. lockscreen, etc ?

I Haven't tried yet. Ill look into it when get some time and whether I can get it to look any good if i can get it to work.
I'm trying to add carrier text back to the one without and make it look ok, this is the best that I've done so far, i just can't centre text so its going to stay on the left for now.

Thanks.. one comment. The Data logo is a bit low. If you can move it up a few pixel to centralize it, it'll be perfect !

How did you get that "Ongoing" list of apps to appear ?

Yeah haven't got around to touching that up yet but will get to it, just wanted to try sort something out with the carrier text first.
Its an app from play store called elixer2 its free and I only use the status bar widgets cause they are very handy

I have touched up the data icons a little, raised the data in and out icons and centred. This does bring them a little closer to the wifi icon but I dont think its too bad as looks better this way now.
Unfortunately I have not been able to get a carrier name on the no carrier version and be fully happy with it and with getting the lock, recent etc icons onto the carrier version, I can not get anything that is stable enough for daily use, so going to stay as is for now sorry.
Disregard the green text and date in the screenshot as that is from my framework-res. If you stock or blue framework-res the text colours will remain the same.

Thanks. Feedback:
- No carrier version - 3G, H and H+ are perfectly located, but Carrier version icons are misplaced
- No carrier version - Clear is really tiny

Looking good mate, nice work.
However I've tried both of your nocarrier zips and single click in the search icon does nothing. I'm on classic rom v3. Anyway we can fix this?
Also if its possible to make the 'clear' text just a bit larger so it would center perfectly in the button.

Hi, are you using the no carrier version? If so does your search button work on single click? Thanks.

working on getting the lock etc buttons on the systemui with carrier text so there will be just one version which has both things. Just having some stability issues with it hoping to niggle out so can use it.
I have fixed the data icons on the carrier version (sorry I mustn't of edited all the images needed my bad) will upload the fixed version later when get a chance.
As with the search button I have noticed before the theme it didn't open anything but I have just themed criskelo's systemui.apk so if anyone is using criskelo rom can they see if it works for them, as far as I understand in the code it is pointing to a search application to open but I am not sure if it is executing the command or just doesn't have the required search app installed. I will try and play around but can't gaurentee I will be able to fix that issue as it is there from the unthemed version (for me anyway), may have to remove the icon if can't sort anything out.

One more suggestion, the Wi-Fi logo look very low res, can you improve in that too? thanks

This MOD Will be Replacing the original white slider lock lock-Ring with a NEW HIGH RES IMAGE STYLED ICON..It will also have a newer styled weather mod which is also HIGH RES compared to default.
As of April of 2013 the weather mod stopped working in alot of aosp based roms for whatever reason,i heard it has to do with the yahoo weather app !but anyways if you have weather enabled in lock-screen and it still doesnt work then most likely this is your problem!
The weather mod is for the weather app for lock-screen! May or may not work on some roms.
These mods work with most devices HOWEVER the Install Zip Files USING MORPH are INCOMPATIBLE with some newer devices not sure why (might have to do with lack of external sdcard) it is configured to search for internal and/or external so again not sure why I am told they dont work on N4(mako) ..IF ANYONE has a fix please PM me!!

3 Flash in Recovery( or install twrp mnager app from playstore to install)

Do not forget to enable weather in system settings in order for it to show on lockscreen
KNOWN ISSUE:: On CM10 ROMS on incoming calls it is still using the default lockring,(white flat lock)but works fine locking and unlocking the device! ..
THE FIX SEE 2ND POST(⇓⇓) FOR INCOMING CALL SLIDER RINGS (⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ) .
SIDE NOTE: incoming call slider lock-ring and lockscreen slider lock-ring are two different things people automatically think they are one in the same but are not...so I added a couple of incoming call slider rings into the 2nd post these are for cm10 ,i dont think they are needed for cm9 based roms you just need to try first and if dont work then flash one in 2nd post on top of one of these in the first post OP
This does not rewrite the complete framework.res ,so it is safe to just flash over the original.

PLEASE READ I added some support for xhdpi along with hdpi and also updated the mods to hopefully allow the lock-screen RING to work on main Lock-Screen.I am told that weather mod is no-longer working and have not yet found out why or if it will work anymore with 4.1 and 4.2. based Roms .these flashable zips do not work on nexus 4 phones for whatever reason might have to do with lack of external sdcard still searching for a fix.

Someone recommended I move this post to the OP but I dont think it needs to go there so anyways here it is.....
Interesting going thru my maintenance on these mods ,I am surprised to see there has been AS OF 1//26/2013 3850+ downloads of these mods(the view counter gets reset everytime i update)-however only about 30 people had thank me for providing them-I thought that was pretty interesting..I am not one to complain but every time I ever found and used a Mod, Theme or a ROM .I always thanked the Dev/Modder/Themer for there contribution to to this site and to my device because if it wasn't for them and there contributions we would all be stuck with the same look and feel as we did when we first got our devices!!just a thought!! I am NOT complaining!!! thanks all, and to the Developers,Forum Moderators,Themers,Contributers,Modders,CrackFlashers and Users for letting me say something...

Yah soon !I am working on another project right now,that has all my attention at the moment..I put these out there to see if it is something that people might like.I know it gets boring using and seeing the same old lock screen ring lock every time you unlock the phone.

I added 4 more tonight! just lock ring sliders with weather.

i tried the bluelighted one and its really awesome......but i find that i makes a ring little more bigger.........can u make that icon little smaller........the 2nd last on of that blue lighted..............thanks

new ones are up now,also resized most of them to correct sizes- hence the v2 on the end of them.

Size is little bit bigger....and when an incoming call comes then I get default ring until I touch it to answer

The default you are seeing is actually from the phone.apk they are actually 2 different icons, there is a lockscreen slider controlled by framework.res and a incoming call lock ring slider controlled by the phone.apk as long as it isnt themed and controlled by a 3rd party themes such as the ones on googleplay.(some themes such as cobalt actually control that icon in its own app)if you like if you read the OP i added a couple of incoming call lock ring sliders you can try they are labeled FIX in the zip try one of those sorry i didnt make one for each of the lockscreen rings.but i recomend the high_res FIX if you flash that on top of the lockscreen ring of your choice it should work fine

Ok I just updated from play store and it's fixed now. Thanks! You've done a great job. It's a really useful and good looking app.
But I'm short on memory and this takes around 30MB of RAM so it's just a luxury I can't keep
But anyone with good amount of memory go for this app :thumbup:

Thanx man! Are you on xxhdpi, cause on my xhdpi the app takes 17MB when it's closed.
There could be more crashes, cause someone said the app wont even start for him. So if someone experiencing the same, i would love to see the log. :cyclops:

Ok since you mentioned 17 MB I gave it another try. And yes without any theme on it's 16/17 MB on xhdpi. Last night I used it with the black theme on so it spiked to 30 MB.
And I already have a Sidebar which takes around 15MB and it serves me well.. So don't get me wrong your app is beautiful and very cool, but I hate the memory constrains I have to deal with
But I'm glad I helped you fix a bug with the log.

Suggestions
First, just wanted to say that I really like the look of this. Running this on AICP 4.4.2 on a HTC One. Couple of quick suggestions/questions: First, is there a way to turn this on/off and/or a setting to enable on boot? Is there a way to change the position/size of the trigger area?
On a side note, I've used an app called circle launcher (pretty much since it was first released) as a widget on my homescreen to launch my most used apps (about 15 or so). I've really like this because with the launcher icon being transparent, it provides an easy way to launch apps without messing with my layout (no matter what layout i'm using). Have you considered creating this as a widget and/or being able to launch this as a short cut? I could see maybe using this as a custom nav bar button or something similar.

Hi there, thanx and I glad you like it. You can hide the icon by dragging it off screen or by pressing "hide" button on the notification (the app will return when you unlock the device or press "show"). Currently there is no autostart after boot, but it is on the to do list. There is no size changes on the trigger area, but you can change the position by dragging it up or down (it is always floating) and/or by changing side (left or right)
As for a fully transparent trigger area - I saw a lot of feedback (on other similar apps) when users wanted to have a visual representation of this area, so I made it with a flag icon. If there will be more requests to make trigger area fully transparent, perhaps i will add this option too.

Hello! This is a bunch of tweaks I created to make Samsung devices better by modding the interface to really polish it. Enjoy!
Installation
Installing is simple. Navigate to the play store and download the required packages.
Substratum

Tips
- A reboot is usually required to apply the tweak.
- Some tweaks are incompatible on some devices.
- Oreo is in beta (until I get it)
- The nav bar heights are broken on the note and oreo. I can't fix it. Sorry.
- I can do requests. All I ask is you consider donating.
- You can hide status bar icons. You must use another APK: SystemUI Tuner (from the play store)

Once installed, it modifies your window animation scales in Developer Settings. It only supports English and a few others. Still working on it. If you get a dev menu FC, just delete the apk, set your animation scales to off, and reinstall it. It won't have all the options but it'll still work (IE: 0x, 0.1x, 0.2x, etc..) even though the corresponding text is wrong.
More are coming! Please leave suggestions for more mods you want so I can try and make them. I've been getting lots of positive feedback.

I hope someday you will find a mod to disable the gradient in the area of the status bar and a bit under it when we set a wallpaper as home screen or lock screen. Somewhere in the lines of the code of the system ui, Samsung gives the command to put this gradient. On the other hand if the user sets a live wallpaper , Samsung doesn't give this command. For the long press, I have to check if I can add this, since I can only mod the res and not the actual java. In the meantime there's this app here that works for this:

Just added this. Check the original post, I added this, as well as one to remove the battery icon from statusbar.

Can you make one that removes the battery percentage but leaves the battery icon for the status bar? Thanks and good work!

Thank you. There must be a line in the code that sets the gradient automatically on when an image is set as wallpaper in home screen or lock screen. I hope you will find the solution to disable this gradient command.

Hello. Maybe you can also remove the Alarm Clock Icon in the Status bar.
By the way i have all of the tweaks in my phone except for AOD tweaks.
