Hey guys, I made a sense UI theme a while back ago for the optimus v, but it is really a universal theme. All of the elements need for the theme are included in the zip file, but things like the status bar mods and the fonts won't work because there is no cyanogenmod for the triumph yet. Once it becomes available, You can access the full theme. Changelog in second post. LINK TO THE ORIGINAL POST
*Quick Note: I will only continue to update this theme if people respond and offer their criticism, suggestions, and general thoughts. I can't do this alone, I need your help*
Also, the thanks button couldn't hurt at all

HOW TO FIX "ERROR INVALID_KEY" WITH FACEBOOK WIDGET
In order to get functionality from the Facebook widget back, as per THIS, you will need to uninstall the facebook app from your phone, then uninstall and reinstall LP sense ui app. From there, when you enter your credentials in the widget settings, it should work. After it is done synching and whatnot, you may reinstall Facebook app. It *should* work.
Step One
Now you will need to install LP Sense UI, provided at the bottom of this thread. THIS IS NOT THE PAID VERSION, IT IS THE REGULAR FREE VERSION, HOWEVER WIDGETS DO WORK.
You will need to set it up properly for it to work. Do the following:
From Homescreen:
Menu>Preferences>Sense Mod Configuration
Set Number of docks to "1"
Dock Background>Standard (be sure to press it, even though it is selected, or else it wont work properly)
Home button on app drawer "on"
Enable auto Rotation "off"
Click to collapse
That should be it for the launcher. You can set other things how you like, I usually use "Rotate 2" as my transition, it looks great with the theme
Menu>Preferences>Homescreen Settings>Transition Effect> "Rotate 2"
Click to collapse
Step Two
You will need to purchase "WidgetLocker" from the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
It is $1.99 USD, but it is worth it, it is helpful for many other themes and is great as a lockscreen in general.
be sure to open WidgetLocker from the app drawer to open it in edit or "Tool" mode.
FROM "TOOL MODE:"
Menu>Settings>Enable WidgetLocker
(Skip this if you don't have root) Menu>Settings>Advanced>Root Helper>Check All Boxes, set Autoswipe Pin/Password to "Auto"
Menu>Settings>Advanced>Check "Hide Notification Icon" and "Hide Interaction Warning"
Configure the rest how you prefer.
Click to collapse
While you are in tool mode, long press every app, slider and widget and drag it to the trash bin at the bottom of the screen. Then do this:
Menu>Add>Custom Slider
Select "Sense" from the box directly underneath the picture of the slider.
Save.
You will need to long press the slider and drag it all the way to the bottom of the screen, being careful not to put it in the trash bin (or else you'd have to make a new slider )
Click to collapse
Step Three
Install any of the clocks in from the included "clocks" folder found under "apps"
Should you install the flipclock app, be warned:
NOTE: THIS CLOCK HAS NO FLIPPING ANIMATION. HOPEFULLY, I WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE ONE THAT DOES FLIP IN THE FUTURE, BUT NO GUARANTEES. I WOULD NEED A LOT OF HELP.
Step Six
In order to get the toggle widgets, such as wifi, bluetooth, gps, vibrate, silence, etc. you need to Purchase Beautiful Widgets from the Market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.levelup.beautifulwidgets&feature=search_result
I have included a brightness control and battery indicator themed to look Sense-esque. They are at the bottom of the Post.
FOR THE BATTERY INDICATOR:
1. Apply Widget to Homescreen
2. Tap on it
3. Select the "Preferences" tab in the top right corner.
4. Check every single box, especially Swap Low/High res. You can select the temperature unit of your choice.
Click to collapse
Alright Guys, have fun with this, Feel free to thank me if this helped you at all. screen shots will be posted in The Second Post.

Is it possible to just get the black bar for the Triumph? I've tried multiple methods including using Metamorph, and Gingerbar. All to no avail. I was hoping you might have found another way

You could get root access by using gingerbreak method, then get a custom recovery, I believe clockworkmod is available for the triumph. If you got ahold of the files you might be able to flash it via recovery, by I'm just taking stabs in the dark. *Not responsible for any damage that happens*

I'm more than a little nervous to apply the status bar hack, mostly because what I've read makes it sound like an awfully involved process that could include either (de) odexing every file on my phone's system partition, or else crashing my phone. So if this works, I will be amazed.

My phone has rejected the stock de-odexed ROM. Repeatedly Although I also haven't tried any others (so don't lose hope yet?)
Is a de-odexing required to make a theme? (Can an odexed version work instead?) Guess I forgot the stuff I was researching... Otherwise I would probably be clever enough to make the status bar text white.

Yes, the theme is universal for the most part. The only thing that wouldn't work in theory is the status bar theme. That requires CM7, which if you have on your Optimus V would work fine. I developed this theme on an optimus v, if that means anything lol

I haven't worked on this theme in ages. They should be included in the .zip file, if not, just Google "adw sense launcher" and the guy who made that launcher also made the clock themes.

Thanks to evilpeople, noobnl, Whosdaman, Herver for theming, mysteryemotionz for the awesome images, and Firon for getting this out and workable.
UPDATE!!
Version 1.0.2 is HERE!! I've moved some installable files from system to sdcard so you can install and uninstall when and what you want. Open Astro File Manager and look on your sdcard for the folder "VIPERapps", that's where the files are such as ADW, ROM Manager, CarHome and more!
NOTICE!!!
These Froyo roms are BETA because the official release has not yet been made. You flash this at your own risk, and cannot hold me responsible for anything you do to your phone. You can try if you'd like, of course, but I will simply laugh at you.
I would like to give credit where due, so this rom is based off the 4.2 release found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=836111). I've added quite a few changes myself, and will have changes in the changelog, along with screenshots to show you what you're working with.
But first...
A few pointers...
--MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING THIS ROM!!!!! (As you should before installing any new ROM)
--Save any apk's you'd like on your sd card before installing.
--Make sure your battery is at 100%. (Flashing kills battery fast)
--WIPE data at least 3 times to be safe. (You don't need to wipe dalvik, as CWM does this for you when you wipe)
--Choose "Install zip from sdcard", then "Choose zip from sdcard". Or something along those lines.
FEATURES!
--Based on 4.2 leak (2.2)
--Deodexed for your convenience
--Pre-rooted also for your convenience
--Zipaligned (Yeah, you guessed it)
--Added Astro
--Added Mini Info (Has a VERY useful widget)
--Removed Sprint Bloatware (Minus the Hotspot and TV by request from a few)
--Fixed Browser.
--Added XDA App (to keep up to date of course lol)
If you would like any of the apk's without having to download another complete rom, let me know and i will put a zip up with all i've taken out.
There is no more problem with the browser, as i have replaced it and the downloading option works. No more "Not enough space" issues.
Remember To Wipe 3 Times!!!

--Based on 4.2 leak.
--Added APK's for optimizing performance
--Removed APK's that were IMO useless.
--Fixed Browser.
--Added Astro
--Added Mini Info
--Removed Sprint Bloatware
--Added XDA Apk
--Changed colors, layout to make it more crisp, nice looking.
--Added Spare Parts, Overclock Widget, and SGSToolbox (Open Astro, navigate to "system", then "apps" then i created a folder in there named "uninstalled apps" with these included in.)
Changelog v1.0.2
--Removed Some Files From System And Put Them On The SDCard.
--Removed Stock Browser, Replaced With Dolphin Browser.
--Download From Browser Now Capable.

--Changed Lockscreen Lock Icon.
**Still Working On The Lockscreen Lag Issue As Well As Getting The Powermod Options To Work.**
Please, if you find anything wrong with my ROM, let me know and I will GLADLY remove it/fix it.

I said AUTO ROTATE LAG. NOT AUTO ROTATE REFUSES TO WORK.
Next time you order someone to search through a thread thats a gazillion replies long, make sure you are doing it for the right reason.
I'm familiar with the sensorcalibutil, worked perfectly for getting my auto rotate back to working in 2.1.
2.2 has a horizontal calibration tool in Settings -> display which does the same thing, and did not help.

I'm feeling look of the new ROM... Can't wait for DEVs to start themes rolling out, But I just loaded the newest update for this ROM and I want something DIFF for the rest, FO-SHO. But I was wondering if you can find a clear notification (pull down) bar, glass dialer, glass swype keys Or the ones we use to use on 2.1 I don't want to seem so needed, but you said we can ask... And that would be nice to have, also with the new animations. Oh and NO ADS Thanks if you can help
Trailblazer101's Themes, Mods, and More!
I decided to create a new thread for JUST for the EC07 build, because the old one got a little too long/complicated between DL17/EC03...
So all my new mods just for EC07, since EC07 is probably the final build of Froyo, shall be put here
Notice (1): Even though you wouldn't think it, there was a few changes within the framework files that makes old packages (DL17/EC03) incompatible with this new build... So make sure you stay within this thread! Thank you
Notice (2): Make sure that you are on a Deodexed Rom before flashing any of these mods! Or suffer the consequences.....
Alright, so let's get started
List of what we have so far!
1. Accurate Themes (Touchwiz and Gingerbread)
2. Reboot Options w/ Easy Stock Lockscreen Toggle (w/ Bing Removal!)
3. "Stay Awake" Re-added, and Clock On/(AM/PM) Toggle!
4. Bing Removal
5. Clock Unlock
6. [Batch Program] Custom Framework Maker! (and manual Ticker Clock Color Editing)
7. TouchWiz Launcher Mods
8. Camera Mods
9. Modified Browser
10. Hacked MusicPlayer
11. Remapped CarCradle and DeskClock
12. DialerTabActivity Remapped
13. Search Key Remaps
1. Accurate Themes:
Just fixed up the accurate battery mods Get it while their hot
Gingerbread Accurate Theme:

Touchwiz Accurate Theme:
CWM2: http://www.mediafire.com/?yilo0p1e0td2o78
2. Reboot Options with Stock Lockscreen Toggle:
(includes Bing Removal!!!) Notice: If you want to remove the AOSP Lockscreen, then create a file in data/local named enable_glass_lock !!! Thank you imnuts for your original work on this
CWM2: http://www.mediafire.com/?xqg5ppdltw98agi
3. "Stay Awake" Re-added, and Clock On/(AM/PM) Toggle:
Having to switch between two packages to pick between No clock and No Am/Pm has become a thing of the past! Check out the link below, which includes that easy toggle, and others as well! These others include that handy "Stay Awake" function re-added into settings, along with a few other Settings modifications Check it out!
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1274633
4. Bing Removal:
Most packages that I made already include Bing Removal, including the AOSP Lockscreen toggle package. I highly suggest you check that out, it doesn't hurt
5. Clock Unlock:
Ever since the upgrade to 2.2, the (handy, in my opinion) feature of unlocking the phone through clicking the clock had been removed for some reason I have figured out though how to add it back in! Notice: Because this feature does not harm anyone, it has been incorporated with other packages, such as the Touchwiz Accurate/Gingerbread Theme...
6. Custom Framework Maker:
Having to manually edit your ticker Clock Color is another thing that is of the past! All you need to do is use my handy batch that I have created for you all! Go ahead and check it out now!
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250684
(Everyone seems interested in changing the color of the Clock on the Ticker Display I recently made a guide to do so, which can be found here: [Guide]Change the Ticker Clock Color!... Since this is the main page for all of the mods out there, I shall put the different colors, whether made by me or other wonderful people, here...)
7. TouchWiz Launcher Mods:
I specifically like the TouchWiz launcher for the WeatherBug widget... But what i did was turn it from "eh"-ish into something a little bit more deal-able. Such added features include Landscape, Semi-Transparent App Drawer, and others! Check it out now!
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1319699
8. Camera Mods :
Although our phone is completely able to Tag Photos with their Location with GPS, the feature is removed for us for some strange reason... Thankfully, I managed to put it back in, just for you guys Also, there is the added bonus of the removal of "In Call" and "Battery Low" restrictions, so go ahead and check this out!
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1305277
9. Modified Browser:
The stock browser comes with all that Verizon crap preloaded into it, and not normally capable of being deleted. I managed to remove all of that, and remap the search functions to Google, among other things! Check it out now with the link below!
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1297359
10. Hacked MusicPlayer:
This time i took a peek at what mods CrushD made to the fascinate MusicPlayer so that it would continue playing music when your phone is about to die P), and manage to take those changes and do them to our MusicPlayer Tested it, and it works great! CrushD deserves some props for this one
APK: http://www.mediafire.com/?mjrf5rfx4fcc19e
11. Remapped CarCradle and DeskClock:
If you removed Bing, which you probably should have done by now, you would notice that a lot of the features in both the CarCradle and the DeskClock apps didn't work well anymore... What I did is take our version of those apps, and mod them so that they worked with Google products, like they should've been able to do in the first place
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1280667
12. DialerTabActivity Remapped:
By observing Adrynalyne's changes to DialerTabActivity.apk in his beta clean rom for DL17 to remap the voicemail button to Google Voice, I managed to port it over to EC07 He deserves props for creating it originally for us
APK: http://www.mediafire.com/?3r0w7ia028s6a2r
CWM2: http://www.mediafire.com/?w5c57byod6l9hg9
13. Search Key Remaps:
So, I asked some of you if you would like me to remap the search key to something else Well, I did, and finally got around to uploading it The Power Remap shuts the screen off if touched, while holding it down launches the shutdown menu The Camera Remap launches the camera... You can use the search key when inside the app, also; touch it to take a picture, and hold it down to focus, then let go to take it The Call Remap launches the Call Log when pressed, and when held down it launches voice commands[as long as you have the Nuance Commands app installed ] Thanks should go to chopper the dog for doing this originally for the fascinate; that is where i got the idea first from

Hey Blazer,
Thanks for getting a jump on these mods. I'm just curious about these few. They don't include links. Are the EC03 versions compatible or do I just need to be more patient?
Thanks again,

3. Theme - By ALBEE320 - Hades - A red theme for ZEUS | post contains links and screenshots
Note: For themes by me, I have generated the theme using UOT kitchen, and then topped it off with my personal touches. For those of you who want to play the settings I used in UOT, I have attached the UOT file too. Name of it is similar to theme file name.
Note:
1. I have my LCD density set at 200, and not the standard 240. So images appear even more crisp in screenshots.
2. I am using Bauhaus font (about a $ in market).
Instructions:
1. Download/Copy the theme zip to internal SD card
2. Reboot into recovery
3. [Optional] Taking nandroid backup, just in case.
4. Apply the theme zip
5. [Recommended] Wipe dalvik cache
6. Reboot
7. [Conditional] After booting up, if you get any any process crash, or see blank icons in place of app icons, do NOT panic, let the system settle down (about 3-5 minutes), and then do a reboot.

I just installed the latest available ICS version of ZEUS today, booted and then rebooted and installed your theme. However only some parts seem to be taking the theme.
- I don't seem to have the same font as shown in your screenshots
- I am also getting the same chunky and pixelated dark blue icons from the drop down toggle menu that came stock with the rom
- I do however see updated battery status icon, updated power menu, and updated pop up dialog screen windows.
Am i missing something, or does "framework only" mean that i need to apply further theme updates to over ride the items i mentioned above?
Thanks in advance!

I installed the beta version of ROM. And then flashed my theme. Font is "Bauhaus", and is a paid one that I bought long back.
So, except for the font, rest everything should be exactly the same as in screenshots.
And yes, theme includes only the framework files. I did not update any apps cos all changes would be overwritten when an app is updated.
I would recommend reapplying the theme, and wiping dalvik cache.
Thanks for the quick reply. Is there any way you can do something to improve the look of the power menu drop down icons? They almost look blown up and over pixelated and it's really the only thing i can't stand about this ROM.
I really enjoyed the look of the blue Transfusion themes for Infused, is there any way you can do something a bit more modern and clean like that for ZEUS?
Or at the very least, just the stock non chunky icons that come with Gingerbread.

I'll try to change them too when I get home tonight.

Change the dpi to 200 (from standard 240), and you'll enjoy crystal clear clarity! No need of voodoo app settings or anything needed!!!
You'll need to do this change in build.prop file. Make sure you make a backup of this file.
One minor issue with this: some apps in market would come up as incompatible. So you could change to 240 once a week or two, update apps, and then get back to 200.

D your ROM is awesome, smooth like liquid butter! I also love that you gave us choice and provided two downloads, one with standard ICS theme, and one with heavily modded EX theme. This is definately a quality ROM and a forum favourite! However as you probably already know, many of us on here are picky when it comes to themes, myself included! LOL.. no disrespect to anyone intended. I guess i'll just have to wait for more themes to come out for this awesome ROM before i replace my trusty Infused 2.2.3 with blue Transfusion theme which i've grown accustomed to. To me, if transfusion theme were compatible with your ZEUS ROM i would definitely drop Infused in a heartbeat and move over to ZEUS!
Thanks to the hard work of all the devs and themers on XDA, we can afford to be picky with all the choice of ROMS and Themes that we have on here. Thanks D for a wicked ROM, i'll keep coming back to it as new themes and ROM updates are released.

I took the 4.2.2 alarm clock from arman68 modular rom and modified it to better fit 4.1 Style.
What I did:
- red bold "all caps" headlines changed to white non bold not "all caps"
- everything else that was red is now holo blue
I also tried to get rid of the ugly bold/slim design of the clock fonts. But that isn't so easy as it seems to be and therefore I failed. Maybe in a future update...
Tools used for my modding activities:
- Virtuous Ten Studio
- ImageMagick (command line image manipulation)
- win-bash (UNIX Bash Shell for Windows)
- Greenfish Icon Editor Pro
- WinMerge
- Notepad++
- my brain
Changelog:.
v1.1: Background is now black. City names in city selection list are now smaller. not condensed and not "all caps". Managed to make the hour digits a lot thinner on desk clock and alarm screens. Unfortunately they are still a little bolder than the minutes. Seems to be impossible to obtain the same font for hours an minutes by xml editing.
v1.1.1: Added "UTC" timezone. "Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt" had a double entry in German. Corrected that, one entry is now "Saigon".
v1.2: Reverted the grey gradient on the actionbars on main clock screen to what it originally was - a pure transparency gradient. Actionbars on settings, cities list and alarmclock are now standard holo style with app icon (removed the blue divider line on alarmclock screen, because it doesn't look nice there). Changed the locations icon on the world clock screen to the globe icon from deskclock 4.4

Good job.
I actually like the red and bold/caps heading; this is the way google designed it. But I understand everyone has different choices, and your changes do fit well in the holo design.
To tell you the truth: I have little love for the holo blue. Do you know that the colour blue causes the body to release hormones that keep us awake? Not so good for when using the phone in the evening or at night.
If it was up to me, I would have themed the whole JB interface with the holo orange. For reference, here are the standard holo colours:

No, the digital clock widget has been completely removed by arman68. I've read that backporting the digital widget would mean a rewrite of larger parts of its code because it uses some 4.2 specific system calls with no substitute on 4.1
Here is a test version for Brazilian JB ROM.
Please report if it's working.
Don't forget to backup before trying.
Thanks man.
It's really useful for me.

It worked perfectly!
I’m running a XT890 with locked bootloader and rooted.
My System version is 982.50.29.XT890.Brasil.en.BR
Android Stock 4.1.2
Language: Brazilian Portuguese
DeskClock version 1.2
It’s running properly, the texts are just fine.
There’s only one issue, when you start the stopwatch and alternate to other application, the status bar shows the Stopwatch notification (that it is running in background) but the time is above the Stopwatch icon.
This don’t happen to the countdown.
I’ve attached two screenshots to show exactly how it is.
Anyway, I loved this mod, I couldn’t believe when I realized that RAZR I didn’t have a countdown and a stopwatch, I came from a Defy and it has at least the countdown.
Thanks a lot hypophysis!!!
How do I do it?

Hey man! I have exactly the same version as yours, and my bootloader is locked and the phone rooted. I'd like to know step by step how to install this mod. I've been craving for a clock app with stopwatch and timer...I don't understand why JB 4.1 doesn't have it. I use a third-party app to do the job, but a native one is MUCH better.
I would really appreciate if you could help me with that!

Sure!
There’s no secret to make it work!
I've used Root Explorer to do the job, so you gonna need it.
1) Download the DeskClock version 1.2, I've tried the 1.1.1 Brazilian version and it didn't work;
2) Make a backup of your Deskclock and the ODEX file;
3) Delete the files Deskclock.apk and the ODEX file;
4) Copy the new Deskclock to the System APP folder (root/system/app);
5) Set permissions to 644, in case of doubt you can check the permissions in any other file inside this folder, all Apps should be set with this permission.
6) Reboot your phone, I used the way shutdown and turn on, but you can do it with Terminal emulator without any problems too
7) Enjoy your new Clock with Stopwatch and countdown.
I’m using it since last week, no problem was found in the Alarm, Countdown and Stopwatch, the only issue is that I’ve mentioned before.
I hope to help you.
If you need anything else just ask me, I’ll be glad to help.

What kind of problem happen?
Did you get a FC?
I did everything that I wrote and for me it worked.
The permissions are really important, if you forget or put something else it will not work.
Remeber that the ODEX have to be deleted, otherwise it will not work.
Try again and make sure to download the version 1.2.

No, I didn't get FC. The app disappeared from the drawer, so I can't access the settings for the alarms and so on. I did exactly as you told me, including the permissions. I copied both the APK and the ODEX original files to a safe place, but when I rebooted the phone and couldn't access the clock no more, I copied the original files back to system/app and rebooted again. This didn't work as well...it seems I lost the original app funcionality forever...To remedy this I installed Alarm Klock from google play, a nice, simple and useful alarm app.. This doesn't really solve the problem though, because this app doesn't have stopwatch and timer.
This version I tried to install is the 1.2 ...maybe I should try the 1.1.1 BR...
Installed 1.2 over br stock ROM, works fine!

NOTICE: Since so many people are having problems with the launcher crashing (especially on non-1080p devices), I figured I'd post this here. I am NOT a developer, I just extracted these applications from the ROM! So I cannot solve your bugs if it requires coding! If anyone here sees this, and IS a developer, and is willing to attempt to fix the bugs, PM me! I can send you any files you need plus I'll try and help along the way. Thanks!
Hi there.
This was tricky to find but I managed to get a few Oppo Find 5 apps to work on other devices! That's including their all new coveted Project Firefly launcher!
Unfortunately a lot of their apps didn't work when I tried porting them so I'm only uploading a few apps. The ones I'm uploading (except for the Project Firefly launcher) work flawlessly on my Nexus 4. If you'd like to personally request an app from the Oppo Find 5 (from the ROM with either Project Firefly or without Project Firefly, I have both) then just PM me, but I can't guarantee it'll work at all.
The Project Firefly launcher crashes A LOT on my device, but that's probably because the launcher was designed for the Oppo Find 5 (1080p screen resolution) and I'm trying to run it on my Nexus 4 (720p screen resolution). It may or may not crash on yours.
Also, here are the Oppo wallpapers:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3lIkuqWWrmqOEp0aVR5TnpFdlE&usp=sharing
There's ten in total, and they're all beautiful and in high resolution.
And the Oppo ringtones:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3lIkuqWWrmqZEVkcm9VUVZ0RVU&usp=sharing
There's twenty of these. They're in .ogg format, so if you'd like to convert them to a different format you can use a site like this: http://media.io/
Project Firefly Launcher:
This launcher is awesome, it's crazy smooth and fast. It also has some fancy weather effects you can enable, like snow, which'll make snowflakes stick to your icons. There's only two downsides: one being it crashes, like... a LOT. Of course, that's just my device, your device might have little to no problems. The other downside is for some reason there's no live wallpaper support.
Video Demo -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr_Iko9_zq8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
(thanks to Der Flooo )
Features -
- Super smooth and fast
- Custom transitions (applies to both homescreen and app drawer): normal, tilt, and vivid. Tilt is like the Touchwiz launcher transition, and vivid is like the shake effect from TSF Shell, where it shakes your widgets and icons whenever scrolling from page to page.
- Up to 9 homescreens
- Customizable position of apps in the app drawer
- Folder support
- Includes 10 pre-installed wallpapers (6 you can pick from and 4 that automatically activate whenever you pick a weather effect)
- Swipe your finger over the page indicator to quickly scroll across pages (works on both homescreen and app drawer)
- Includes a pre-installed icon pack for some common applications; can't be turned off
- Twitch effect when moving icons or widgets (similar to what's found in the Xperia eDream launcher)
- Fancy weather effects (see 'Weather Effects' just below. Note that you can only PICK these, they don't auto-update according to your weather conditions)
Weather Effects:
- Rain: The wallpaper will automatically change (can be changed to your desired wallpaper after) and water will pour down on your screen. Water droplets form on the screen and icons from time to time. Shaking your phone will clear the water droplets off your icons. When scrolling from page to page, the water downpour will slant.
Picture:
mod edit
- Snow: The wallpaper will automatically change (can be changed to your desired wallpaper after) and snowflakes will dance around the screen. Ice crystals and snowflakes accumulate on your icons over time. Shaking your phone will clear off some of the snowflakes off your icons; continue shaking to clear them completely off. A foggy effect will appear around the edges of the top of your screen. When scrolling from page to page, the snowflakes will jolt to right or left (depending on which way you scrolled) after a short delay (for a more realistic effect).
Picture:
mod edit
- Fog: The wallpaper will automatically change (can be changed to your desired wallpaper after) and your screen will fog over from time to time, creating condensation and water droplets. Drawings made in the foggy screen will be randomly generated, cycling through and fading between. The drawings are transparent, showing your unaffected wallpaper (meant to imitate what happens when you wipe a window with condensation on it). Shaking your phone will clear the fog for a little bit, but it'll re-form after a few seconds.
Picture:
mod edit
- Dandelion: The wallpaper will automatically change (can be changed to your desired wallpaper after) and dandelions will fly around from the left to the right of your screen. Occasionally dandelions will appear carrying a ladybug on them. Every now and then, the dandelions will fall onto your dock, in front of your dock icons. After a few seconds, they'll fly up again, or shaking your phone will jump-start this process. When scrolling from page to page, the dandelions will jolt to right or left (depending on which way you scrolled) after a short delay (for a more realistic effect).

Compass:
This is a gorgeous looking compass that displays the degree it's pointing as well as type (north, south, etc.), kind of like the MIUI one but a lot cleaner looking. It also displays your current latitude and longitude (which I blacked out in the picture ). Latitude has a typo, it's spelled 'lattitude' on the app. Unlike the launcher, I have no problems whatsoever with this app; it works flawlessly.
Features -
- Displays current degree phone is pointing
- Displays type of position phone is pointing (north, south, etc.)
- Displays latitude and longitude
- Gorgeous looking design of compass

Compass (Finder Version):
This is the compass app ported from the Oppo Finder instead, not the Find 5. It is visually pretty nice and it has a fancy '3D' version that lets you more easily visualize the compass. Like the other Compass app, this one works flawlessly for me.
Features -
- Displays current degree phone is pointing
- Displays type of position phone is pointing (north, south, etc.)
- Displays latitude and longitude
- Fancy 3D interface can be turned on/off and helps more easily visualize the compass and it's information

Flashlight:
This is another gorgeous looking app that toggles the flash on your phone to use as a flashlight. If your phone doesn't have flash, it won't work. Tapping the power button will turn on/off the flashlight. There's also a SOS button which flashes the light on-and-off in quick succession (thanks Old Muckenmire for telling me ). On my phone, though, tapping it will just turn on/off the flashlight like the power button does, so maybe it's a Find 5-only thing.
Features -
- Turns on/off your camera flash to function as a flashlight
- Gorgeous looking design of flashlight
- SOS button to flash the light on-and-off over and over

Weather App:
This is a beautiful and super-smooth animated weather app. You can add/remove cities and there's also auto-locate weather support. The weather animations look incredible, they're like the HTC Sense ones. Note that I ported this app from the stock Oppo ROM but the other apps were all ported from the Project Firefly ROM (their stock-ROM counterparts would just crash on me). Note that is just an APP, not an app and widget.
Features -
- Add/remove cities
- Auto-locate weather support (doesn't seem to always want to work on my phone, but that might be just me)
- Animated weather background
- Very smooth
- Displays current temperature, high/low for the day, humidity, wind speed/direction, and also a 2-day forecast (there's 3 weather icons but one is the current day) that, when tapped, will automatically change the background and information to display more information on that specific day.
- Share support to send weather conditions in your default messaging app

I also found a few other widgets from Oppo stock ROM but they won't install, irregardless if it's through system/app or normal install. Later today, I'll try flashing a few and see how that goes.

Thanks for these apps!
So far I have only tried the flashlight and I can report what the SOS button does: if you turn the flashlight off and then press SOS, it makes the light flash off and on, I assume it's for getting someone's attention if you need help in the dark, etc..
Gonna try the rest of these in a bit...Thanks again!

I believe that's normal actually, I heard that the Oppo launcher has problems with making their icons massive.

Which app in question are you trying to install? And have you tried installing it as a system app?
Why can't you change wallpaper? When you click the wallpaper button does it crash the launcher or something?

no luck, it still doesn't work on tablet mod of note2....like huawei lancher...
Getting FC too with my N4 (stock with Matr1x kernel) too bad cause i liked the launcher !
Need just to fix FC , make icons a bit smaller, and maybe make some theme and it would be a perfect launcher ! thanks for your work !

The developers of the launcher are adding native Theme support, if you go to your homescreen, press and hold -> tap 'themes' -> tap 'more' it'll say 'coming soon...'. Project Firefly is still in beta so not all the features are available.
As for me fixing things like the FC or shrinking of the icons, I'm not a developer so I don't know how. If anyone would like to modify it and try and fix up the problems I'd be more than happy to supply them with any parts of the ROM they need.
Thanks

Hmm that's odd, I haven't heard of anyone having force close problems with the weather app. What version of Android do you have + what ROM + what device?
Launcher keeps flickering black and then back to regular color every 1/2 second. It makes it completely unusable which is a shame... Motorola Atrix 4G 4.2.2

Thanks

It's probably because of your resolution, Oppo Find5 has a resolution of 1080x1920 and you have a resolution of 540x960.
As for the lack of a widget, I said in the original post that the weather app is just an app, not a app and widget.
