Suddenly my wife's Att skyrocket is not receiving texts from certain people. Googled for an answer but nothing has worked. She is running stock no root or anything. Any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks

Hey guys. Im having some trouble with my text messaging. When ever i receive messages, it is showing that i received them 4 hours ago. So all my received messages are going to the top and messing up my chats. Does any one know how to fix this?

Hey...just got the Captivate yesterday and had the same problem. Are you on Rogers (or another provider besides AT&T)? This is more likely a network problem. Download the "SMS Time Fix" app. It will fix the problem.
Yes its a rogers phone and I'm using it with fido. Thanks that fixed the problem.
having lots of problems with handcent on the sg3...wondering if anyone else is experiencing it. Out of no where i will no be able to send mms. It is not my service either. It is also slowing my phone down when i'm typing texts.

This is the forum for the i9300, not the Us-version. We have totally different hard- and software.

Same here.
I've currently got CM9 stable running on my skyrocket. For the most part it runs fine although I am having an issue with text messages. Off and on my SMS stops working. I cannot send nor receive them. No errors or anything just no messages.
I tried searching to no avail but i am currently at work and only have my phone to search with, so searching kinda sucks.
I originally started with nightlies then stable. No issues other than that.
Help me get my text messaging fixed!! Thanks!

Did u ensure it apn settings were correct?
SMS works most of the time, but it occasionally drops for a few hours.
I can confirm the apn with my neighbors skyrocket when I get home. We're both running cm9. He doesn't have any issues.
If they APN wasn't correct wouldn't it not work all the time?

Yes I searched! Every place! Every time I receive a call my phone it verbally "announces" it, contact name or number. I've checked driving mode, checked it and uh-checked it. Checked text to speech, talk back. Nothing is out of order. It started out of the blue about 2 weeks ago, and for the life of me I can't figure it out Running 4.1.2.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

So talk back is off and driving mode is off and still having problems. I would just make sure everything is backed up and factory reset.

So, unlocked running multiple different ROMs I've noticed that I'm no longer receiving texts. Sometimes they all come in later in the day in a big batch. I am on Sprint and using the Google voice integration. If I install the Google voice app I can get my texts right away in that app but not coming through hangouts. Anyone have any experience with this or any ideas? I've flashed back to stock, but still unlocked and rooted... No change. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Tried using chomp SMS, no change. Also, MMS appears to be unaffected.

I had this issue my first day with my Nexus... I found that toggling my mobile network between global and LTE fixed it. Then I updated profile and PRL and it hasn't happened since
