Hi everyone
I upgraded my N8000 to Jelly Bean... It is nice but when typing email or SMS I can't find the button that switches between the keyboard and handwriting on Samsung Keyboard although handwriting is enabled in the settings. Any one know how to start the handwriting function??
It's there just press it and hold it may you see the settings icon
I have the same issue with my gs note 10.1 N8000 German jellybean firmware

Hi,
i installed p5100xxcli1 to my galaxy tab 2 10.1(JB v4.1.1). All the functions works fine. But there is smart stay icon on buttom right side of the screen. But it is not working.
I checked settings for it. But settings does not include enable or disable function. It has to be under the screen timeout selection on settings. Is there anyone activated this function?
Thanks.
I have the same problem.

I know there is an option to use ICS of Jelly Bean search bar. I thought the difference between these two was the ICS said "Google" and the Jelly Bean said "G". No matter which option I choose it displays "Google". Am I doing something wrong or do I need to change a setting?
Also on another subject I don't really like the new update to Apex, it kinda screwed with the icon size in the app drawer. Is there a way to change that as well?
Thanks!
I get the G when I do it. I do agree with icons in the drawer.

So after changing to TWA_PRIV's Jelly Bean ROM from ICS I see "G" in landscape mode but I still get "Google" in vertical mode. Is this normal?

I just got this Galaxy note and it had ice cream sandwich. I turned on the pen hover icon. Updated to Jelly bean and now that option is gone in the settings. I like having the pen icon on all the time. Is there a way to restore it in JB?
Quick search yielded no relevant results.

Yep, settings>s pen> tick airview....
Hi all, after flashing CM11 I had no vibrate on key press with Google keyboard. This is due to the default vibration being set to 5ms, the setting can be found in language settings/aosp keyboard settings/advanced settings at the bottom of the page,
This also works on all cm based custom rom's where there is no keyboard vibration on first boot.

On my tablet, I have taught the default Samsung keyboard's predictive text some really funny stuff. I want to try out another keyboard (Gboard). I can always switch back and forth between the two keyboards, but I'm wondering, if I switch to a different keyboard, then switch to the Samsung keyboard, will it lose the predictive text (remembered words) on the Samsung keyboard? Thanks

No, the Samsung should retain its settings.
