So, I tried the keyboard from Android 4.2 found on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1964663
The keys show up really small though. Too small. Has anyone had any more success or can help?

I am looking for a custom keyboard that is optimized for 2.3. I am currently running aospGBmod v0.2
I am specifically interested in a "hide keyboard" button. I used to be able to get one when I ran HTC_IME keyboard but that particular mod doesn't seem to work well anymore.
Alternately, is there a way to add that button to the stock keyboard?
THANKS!
Hi All, I've tried the new CM but it was too unstable for me, however, I would love to be able to install the keyboard that comes with it on my stock nexus-s...
Is that possible?
can somebody post the apk (or an update.zip with the relevant apk and libraries)?
Thank you!
Search the Market for Gingerbread Keyboard
Thanks but I already have the nexus s with the gingerbread keyboard, the keyboard in the mod is slightly better since it supports hebrew and allows to move between languages by swiping the spacebar button...
that's the functionality i'm looking for
My friend recommended https://market.android.com/details?id=com.klye.ime.latin , I think that is what I needed
Has anyone noticed that autocorrect functionality only works in the core google apps? I can see suggestions come up, but when I type "teh" instead of "the" it won't automatically correct text in Polaris Office for example - but it works fine in Gmail.
Tried Thumb Keyboard 3.0, 4.0 beta 4, stock Honeycomb, and the stock Asus keyboard and they all seem to have the same issue.
Wanted to see if anyone had some tips for getting this to work of it if is just how Android works...
Hello,
I recently installed JB (CM10) on my Motorola Defy+. According to me, the new Android keyboard is excellent at guessing words but it makes typing really hard on a 3.7-4" screen.
Is there any way you can keep the original JB keyboard modifying the skin only? (or else is there any keyboard with the same A.I. of the JB one but a different skin?)
bump
This is my first android tablet. I've noticed that the stock android keyboard does not have the row of auto complete suggestions above the keys like on my galaxy nexus. Is that normal for the tablet version the keyboard?
Edit: to clarify, I'm not referring to the Asus keyboard.
