XBOX 360 Controllers + USB TYPE A FEMALE 2 FEMALE ... Not working ... Anyone else having issues with there XBOX360 controller Thanks.
what controller?
obviously using a wired controller? or are you using standard controller with the usb charging cable? did you try and OG xbox controller?
Maybe you need a usb 3 adaptor to get it working, just like for charging.

I'd be interested to see if works through the dock to see if its a driver issue or an issue using an adapter through the charging cable. Does the charge port output any power?
Are the lights on the controller on or off?

Lights are on when plugged in. I will have to try it with an USB3 cable tonight.

Wait... this is still not clear from your answers. Are you using:
A) Wireless X360 controller attached to USB via the Plug and Play charge kit
B) Wired X360 controller
If you are using A, you cannot communicate to the device via the USB connection. That is for charging only. No control signals can pass to the controller using that connection.
If you are using B there should be no cable to replace since the wired controller is hardwired.
to my understanding, only a true wired 360 controller will work. the wireless through plug and play or windows dongle will not work. i can attest to that as i've tried both with no luck.
The windows wireless dongle works on rhe xoom. I don't see why it doesn't work on my asus
I have the true wired controller and used that female adapter from amazon and it didn't work at all.

I have a wired Xbox360 controller and it doesn't work on the TF101.
I have the keyboard dock and 3.1.
When plugged in, the green lights flash but it's not picked up in any apps as an input method.
I think the 360 support may be broken.

+1 My wired 360 controller does not work when plugged into my dock with 3.1. However, my PS3 controller with attached usb cable does work
i have tried 2 generic usb contols from GAME, both light up and are powered, but neither show any input in any apps or games.
has anyone here got any game control to work yet?
this is a bug with the transformer
wired 360 controllers work with the xoom. this is an asus bug.
please report it to asus by calling them:
http://service.asus.com/callus.html
or emailing them:
http://vip.asus.com/eservice/techserv.aspx
as of now they're not even acknowledging this. the only way to get it fixed is to get it some visibility by reporting it.
You need to make sure your using a keybiard dock and are running updated stock asus firmware/Rom and the xbox controller is fully wired, the detatchable usb charging wire is only for charging, my wired madcatz controller will work natively while my wireless controller pluged in with the usb cable will not

you know the last post in this thread was more than 2 years ago, lol.
Heres my problem:
I have an old rear projector TV but I wanted to hook up my transformer to it. After some amazon scouring, this is the combo I got (see attached). http://db.tt/KXFmp0v
The cord\adapter just came in the mail, plugged everything in, and not working at all. Transformer doesn't recognize the hdmi plug, and when I plug the red/yellow/white cables into my TV all I get is a buzzing.
Am i doing something wrong or missing a step?
Have you tried: mini-hdmi to hdmi adapter -> hdmi cable -> HDTV? This will rule out any faults with the mini-hdmi to hdmi adapter and pin it down to that hdmi to vga/analog audio cable.
This wont work I believe, because the device you connect the tf to must communicate back to the tf via hdmi and establish the connection its all part of the arbitration process.

I have not, as I don't have an HDTV.
Theoretically, shouldn't the device recognize when I plug the adapter in? Or would that only recognize once the actual cord is connected and a connection is established?

Sounds reasonable, considering HDMI-out never turns on until I turned my TV on (meaning it only turns on when it detects an active receiving end), unlike laptop/PC's HDMI-out which will enable itself if it detects the other end is connected to something (even if it is off)
The tv will recognize a connection but it has no way to tell the tf to send the picture because digital data must be send via hdmi to the tf and back again. Since the other end of your cable are analogue, there's no way of that happening.

All of those cables are complete crap.
Converting an HDMI signal to an analog one requires computational processing power that isn't going to be hidden in the end of a cable. If it doesn't have some sort of box on it then it's just some Chinese crap that isn't doing any digital-to-analog conversion at all.
That buzzing you hear? It's probably the HDMI digital signal being interpreted by your speakers as noise.
I should add that the HDMI doesn't need to be some sort of fancy bi-directional process. You will however need a converter to convert that HD signal into analog.
Something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Compo...12/ref=sr_1_31?ie=UTF8&qid=1308956499&sr=8-31
But of course this would require your projector to have component video in (the three red, green, blue plugs). I know of no HDMI-RCA coaxial converter.

When I connect my Asus tf101 to qumi q5 projector using mini to micro hdmi I get sound but no image when playing download movies but shows when connected to YouTube
Hi, any of you had any problems with the touch screen, that frezze and become unresponsive when plugging an HDMI to micro HDMI cable from anLCD TV to the transformer TF300T with Jelly Bean ???????
hi,
I have a laptop (Fujitsu lifebook ah530 gfx) wich has an hdmi port. I also have an archos 80 g9 tablet with a mini hdmi port. Recently I bought a minihdmi to hdmi cable and everything works fine when I connect the tablet to my tv screen. However it would be really nice if I could connect the tablet to my laptop's screen. I tried to just plugin the cables but nothing happpened. So I wonder is there any way to configure the laptop's monitor to show the tablet's screen through hdmi?

No. Laptop/PC HDMI is output only.
I was hoping someone would have some insight regarding a problem I have using an MHL adapter with a DVI connector attached on.
I have this MHL adapter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00827EGG2/ref=oh_details_o09_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm using dvi adapter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JCQVW8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And connecting it to this projector: http://www.amazon.com/Optoma-EP739-...TF8&qid=1381161207&sr=8-1&keywords=optoma+739
The projector doesn't have an HDMI cable so I thought i'd throw on an HDMI to DVI adapter to get around that.
I've used the HDMI cable and MHL adapter on other stuff before and they work great. I've used DVI adapter and HDMI cable to connect my laptop to the projector and that works too.
When I use the MHL adapter with the DVI adapter and connect it to the projector, my One S Screen becomes all scrambled and the projector detects a signal but it displays a blue or black screen or occasionally I see about half of the notification bar and the rest of the projection is the blue screen. Also, my phone freezes at that point and I have to force restart it.
My scrambled screen one s screen looks different every time, but something like this: http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/3894/img20110927034536.jpg
If the projector's manual will help, it can be found here: http://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_manual_2566.pdf
I'm running rooted stock rom.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
htc media link hd
did you try the htc media link?? i know its a bit expensive but i think that would be your best thing to try
you'll just need to connect the media link to your projector and use wifi to set everything up... no need for mhl and dvi connector
