hello,
nobody talk anymore about GPS lag and bad fix...
Still got this and have to use external GPS....
anything new about this??
how to fix this?
tried all registry tricks.. nothing...
thank you
Why are you starting a new thread?
It's a known error and here people are working for a solution.
So I don't know what you mean with "nobody talk anymore about GPS lag" ??
...another person that can't be bothered to do a search i guess!!!
(in fact there are a couple of threads on the first page talking about this) Sigh!
I am on EnergyROM 1/18/2010 and i am still experiencing incorrect timestamps even after registry edits and all the solutions posted on these forums.
I can not seem to find a solution that works. Is there anything else someone has done to resolve this issue!?
I been browsing a lot through forums trying to find a solution to the problem, but never have I had success. The issue is Google Talk constantly loses connection, mainly when it is on stand by and/or the screen is on "time out." This started when I started to use Wi-Fi, but I don't know if that is the issue. If anyone knows how to fix this, or if there will be some update by Google on this issue, much thanks to you.

I just recently came across this problem too. Does anyone know how to fix it?

no answer means that nobody understand your problem. What type of SMS time bug that needs to be fixed?
Alcatel's announced Aug. 10 (approximately, US only on that date) update is supposed to fix this problem.

I'm on 7.1.1, completely stock. Suddenly I have issues with calling people - when I call them I can't hear the dial tone, nothing, but they can pick up and can hear me.
I tried several solutions on the internet - disabling bluetooth, disabling Google Asssistant and all the "OK" Google options. Tried waping Phone app cache. Nothing fixed it.
This issue happened suddenly, no changes were made to the phone. The issue is fixed with a reboot - when I reboot my phone I can call people again and can hear them but the issue keeps happening again and I have to reboot everytime.
I have dropped my phone lately but there were no visible damage - I hope it's not a HW issue as the issue gets fixed after a reboot.
Any suggestions?

Its not hardware related. Others here have had the same problem. Me included. I turned off advanced calling a couple months ago and haven't had a problem since. If you have it enabled, try disabling it. Settings>More>Cellular Networks.

Thanks for the reply - but i don't have this Advanced Calling option in Cellular Networks. I'm from Switzerland and I don't have any Wifi Calling features from my provider.
It must be some software bug but I don't want to do a hard reset...
This is a known issue. Look at the google Product Forum Pixel forum. There is a thread called Severe Microphone Issues.

On my third pixel now...the second one failed per the discussion in the link above. Hope this helps.

Are you sure it's a microphone issue? The other's can hear me but I can't hear them and it works after a reboot.

In the thread Google states it is a hardware issue and to return phones. The mic failure is part of a larger issue which they seem to be believe involves software and hardware. Wipes and reboots temp fix. But the problems come back and magnify.
