I am thinking about buying a TF700 ...........
But, I was wondering does the TF700 support Duel Band 5Ghz WiFi,
I know that the Transformer Prime, does not support it....
As someone on the Transformerforums already answered (really, first hit on google if you type in Asus TF700 5ghz...):
No.

Hi all
I have an apple extreme with dual band, and i publish one ssid called home, for normal b/g, and home5, for wifin 5gz.
All my 3 macs connect correctly to home5, but the tf101 only to home.
there is some configuration missing?
thanks
If I recall correctly, I don't believe the Transformer is capable of dual band N networks, unfortunately.
Transformer only comes with 2.4Ghz. Thats what it says on asus's website, and my personal experience.

Correct. No 5ghz. Real crap in my eyes. Asus just gave us MIMO G. IEEE 2009 N standard states 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

Just picked up the tab last night and it is nice. I have 5 other android devices, and two laptops that operate on my Linksys E3200 on 802.11n at 5Ghz. The Galaxy Tab 2 7" does not see the access point. If I stand up a 2.4Ghz router the tab picks it up. The problem is 2.4 in our neck of the woods is plagued with interference. I called Samsung and they think it should support 5Ghz. Can anyone confirm that it does?

I tried a 5ghz open connection and my tab did not see it.
If a device's wifi spec is listed as 802.11 abgn, then it supports dual 2.4/5GHz. If spec says 802.11 bgn, then it's 2.4GHz only.
GT 2 series doesn't have dual-band wifi. AFAIK, no 2nd-gen wifi Android tablet to date supports dual-band.
Thanks for the response. It is listed as b/g/n not a/b/g/n. I have a xoom that supports this, and it looks like the xoom 2 supports it as well. Perhaps cause these are more budget minded tablets?
Does not see my 5GHz either, just the 2.4, 7" Tab2 here.

Hello!
Has anybody been looking into usb 3G modems compatibility with our tablet.
I guess it depends in the kernel in use.
I'm considering buying the ZTE MF669, in sweden we've got some kind of ad-supported 3G contracts specially for tablets and laptops.
Thanks for the help!

i saw Asus ZenFone 6 has been widely popular with many people, i also would like to have a try, does it support 3G network in USA?
I'm wondering if anyone has gotten Wi-Fi Calling to work with this phone? I've enabled it without success using a T-Mobile ASUS Router specifically optimized for Wi-Fi-Calling. ASUS Taiwan is telling me they think T-Mobile/MetroPCS has to enable Wi-Fi calling for this particular phone, even though I've used other unlocked phones with this router and Wi-Fi Calling before that didn't come from T-Mobile.
