Thank you iodak. I will try and post feedback.

Thank you. I've been trying to think of a way to port paranoid to our phone. Don't suppose that could be a feature upgrade to your cm9 port?
I may try dabbling with this tonight considering there's a cm9 working port now.

Thanks for this I was just talking about cm9 man... our phone just getting better and better, glad I held out

I'm thinking the screen issue is a driver issue. Any way to use the lib's from 4.0.4 from xbsall to fix that and bluetooth?
Also did you copy over the camera from defcomg? Very awesome port btw, im stoked. This means we're one step closer to a paranoid and a cm10 rom

Im not sure this ROM actually works, can someone confirm it? After flashing, it just pops up to the LG logo and shuts itself off over and over when i try to turn it back on. Gonna have to fastboot to flash since I also cant enter Download mode, good luck on making this port work.

Yeah, im on the 4.0.4 port. Trying it over again, last time i didnt wipe "System" in TWRP (Its different from CWM, you can just use Wipe Data/Factory Reset and Cache in CWM but in TWRP you gotta do all 4)

[ROM]Rooted Stock v21y 2.3.4 GRJ22 + Add-Ons in the OP

As the title says this is the new v21y update rooted. You must have the march 2012 baseband or in call audio will not function properly.
Disclaimer:
Not responsible for anything that happens to your device. It is yours and you flash at your own free will.
ROM includes:
v21y 2.3.4 update
Root -unsecured boot.img
init.d support
deodexed (was already that way in the update)
zipaligned
I did not remove any of the bloatware in this version, you should know how to do that yourself.
Known issues..
If you do not have the march 2012 baseband in call audio WILL NOT WORK. You have to update the baseband.
Core Memory said:

MIUI
I installed it, and loving it.
Trying to find some cool themes..
Sorry that I can't be much help. I know just about enough to be dangerous. I do know how to take my phone back to stock after I have bricked it!!
But, I do love MIUI and I am running it on my phone and my Nook. I have been watching this thread from the first day and I want to say thanks to everyone involved!!
And you, also, Pony....don't think they could have done it without your help....Now if we can just talk them into working on the NookColor!!!!!!!!
OP updated to include latest MIUI -Jellybean release.
Is there an easy way to get themes?

Much easier the having to use the Play Store. The MIUI rom will include a Themes App. Just tap that and you have access to many different themes.
Here's a screen shot of my app folders.
I noticed that apps are not installed to /data like in other ROMs. Are they just hidden or are they stored elsewhere?
Since Miui v4 my infuse's gps stopped working. I turned on the 3 location options in settings but it's no good either. This only happens in MIUI v4 roms, I flashed other JB roms and the gps works okay again. Anyone can help me on this?

Download GPS Status from the play store. Calibrate the compass within it, then delete AGPS information and re-download. I did this this morning and GPS locked almost instantly when outside.

Thanks D, not a requirement, but would likely make things easier.
xdahgary, hit dparrothead1, not him, his thanks button- it would most likely be smoother to flash an ICS rom first. I suggest, based on my experience, Entropy's CM10 Unofficial. Read his instructions for install/ Note that it is common after flashing to get stuck on the Samsung logo. It tells you what to do. Others are here to help, I will be back in 2 hrs.
Another thing. Usually my phone can locate my position with Wifi or 3g but with miui it cannot. It always requires gps which is hard to reach when I'm inside. Why does this happen?

the official updater goes well when you have the original old rom , if you have any custom rom it wont work easily , thats just what happened to me
So what about these restore roms that have the new baseband?
I will look at suggested theads.. thanks.

There are few roms that are set up for 21y right now so it shouldn't be an issue if you don't upgrade but if you need it there's these zips one makes old ROMs work on the the new BB (march2012) and the other makes new 21y roms work on older Basebands http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1714536

Well I am back to needing help... jezzz
I have the new t-mobile rom with 21y in....
So this is not rooted anything correct??
SO I did superonetouch.. ROOT only - worked.
Then realised that I dont have CWm on it..
So I got superonetouch CWM - I tried to apply this to the rooted phone.. but I cannot get into S/W upgrade. up and down volume on power up does not work.
So do I need to unroot it.. and try with just CWM??
Thanks
James

The instructions for flashing CWM in this does not work on my phone now that I am running 21y.. is there something wrong???
James
What do you mean by up and down on power up exactly? You have to have the battery removed then connect your phone to the computer via the USB cable and when you are at this screen, then hold both the volume +/- buttons at the same time while choosing which CWM to flash then a cmd prompt should pop up saying something about initializing bootloader and after a few seconds your phone should turn on with S/W Upgrade screen

If you follow the instructions correctly, it will work.
Did you install the drivers?
Did you take the battery out?
Did you press both volume buttons and hold them down then plug in the usb cable?
Did you keep the buttons pressed down throughout the process until it finished?
Recheck the instructions and follow them exactly.

Nice 1 defcomg I attempted to port it and failed miserably, I was secretly hoping that you would jump on it but didn't want to ask
Did you use the SGS2 ROM or the JoyOS ROM out of curiosity?

Great Rom, but no wifi and torch doesnt work
I really like this Rom, but if I try to connect to WiFi I get a FC. Anything I can do to get WiFi working?
Gesendet von meinem LG P920 mit Tapatalk. Rom is ThiaiZ O3D 2.8 with Promethius-Kernel 1.5

I was told he'd look into the Wifi problem today so hopefully some new light will be shed on the problem soon
This is exactly what I was trying to get away from when i dumped my iPhone. If it had a better interface and bigger screen I would still be an apple fanboy. Very interesting though, I guess someone is enjoying this.

Thanks for the Fix Defcomg Now to make this perfect **Coughs Can you get 3D into it? :highfive:
Sorry for the delay battery was low. Confirmed wifi is working fine. Thanks
finally grabbed my keyboard again. Maybe it could be an option to add Keymonk keyboard to your roms as it's free and useful for people like myself who are used to swiping?

Should be posted in the LG Thrill 4G forum, flashed issue-free onto the P925. Could use more customization, pop-up background, buttons, and borders aren't appealing with the gingerbread/cm7 look. I was able to get the LG Keybaord flashed onto it, was wishing for LGEmail., and Browser, they have more of an iPhone look than the stock gingerbread ones.
Overall, great job.
looks good... changed browsers downloaded robin and its almost like a iphone now... i won't use it in the long run just installed it to show my friend with his crappy iphone 4S
Looks good.
As ive flashed it the WiFi didnt work.. (i see you've fixed it now..)
But i had one more Problem: the ROM couldnt recognise my Internal SD
I really liked the ROM, but i had to flash back is there any way to fix that bug??
