New Version
MIUI

I installed it, and loving it.
Trying to find some cool themes..

Sorry that I can't be much help. I know just about enough to be dangerous. I do know how to take my phone back to stock after I have bricked it!!
But, I do love MIUI and I am running it on my phone and my Nook. I have been watching this thread from the first day and I want to say thanks to everyone involved!!
And you, also, Pony....don't think they could have done it without your help....Now if we can just talk them into working on the NookColor!!!!!!!!

OP updated to include latest MIUI -Jellybean release.

Is there an easy way to get themes?

Much easier the having to use the Play Store. The MIUI rom will include a Themes App. Just tap that and you have access to many different themes.
Here's a screen shot of my app folders.

I noticed that apps are not installed to /data like in other ROMs. Are they just hidden or are they stored elsewhere?

Since Miui v4 my infuse's gps stopped working. I turned on the 3 location options in settings but it's no good either. This only happens in MIUI v4 roms, I flashed other JB roms and the gps works okay again. Anyone can help me on this?

Download GPS Status from the play store. Calibrate the compass within it, then delete AGPS information and re-download. I did this this morning and GPS locked almost instantly when outside.

I haven't used my infuse in a while, coming from a gb rom do I need to flash anything before I flash this?
For Example: New Bootloaders

Thanks D, not a requirement, but would likely make things easier.
xdahgary, hit dparrothead1, not him, his thanks button- it would most likely be smoother to flash an ICS rom first. I suggest, based on my experience, Entropy's CM10 Unofficial. Read his instructions for install/ Note that it is common after flashing to get stuck on the Samsung logo. It tells you what to do. Others are here to help, I will be back in 2 hrs.

Another thing. Usually my phone can locate my position with Wifi or 3g but with miui it cannot. It always requires gps which is hard to reach when I'm inside. Why does this happen?

MIUI China has changed their location based services to whatever China's "google" is called. It is a known issue and it is being addressed.

Is it just me or does the browser not support flash?

THE FROYO EPIC EXPERIENCE
Anything different in flashing this? Just go through clockwork, wipe and update? Also, and this is a general question, not necessarily pertaining to this ROM...If I flashed a ROM that updated/changed the kernel (like Syndicate Full), do I need to flash back to a different kernel before changing ROMs?
Thanks in advance.
Awesome I first started with your rom and loved it, I switched because it was getting mostly theme changes. Now I seyou have a froyo rom I'm comming back.

Just posted the flashing instructions to the first post.
Nice, been running the first version and it's definitely had the best battery life out of all the froyo roms I've tried (prob 4 or 5)
I remember someone from the other topic saying something about double clicking space not inserting a period and no auto-correction but I'm not having those problems. Might have been fr a different rom tho.

Shouldn't need to. As long as you have the latest modem.
if youve done it initially for any dk17 rom you dont need to again because this is based of of dk17
Confused question, I have the dk17 is that the modem? Or where can I look to see if I have it

Can we upgrade 1.3.00 (aka 2.0.00) to 2.0.01 without wipe?
Pretty sure you need to wipe because 2.1 and 2.2 are almost completely differant. And if not it would be a good precaution to do so.

Ahhhh wait I just re read what you said...durrr
alright new release gonna try it now
Another thing I have noticed with these FroYo ROMs is that if you leave the keyboard open the keyboard lights randomly turn on and off (whether its plugged in or not), anyone else notice that? I am wondering if this happens with the keyboard closed and possibly be a parasite draining the batt when not actively using the phone?

1.3.00 and 2.0.00 are THE SAME. Pretty much, I was asking about going from 2.0.00 to 2.0.01 without wiping.
But I guess I missed the part in the main post says I don't have unless there is an *.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL] Compiled CM 7 for Infuse 4G - Automated Nightly Builds

Thanks to the efforts of LinuxBozo many of us are able to enjoy CM 7 on our Infuse 4G devices. All credit for this goes to LinuxBozo (and those listed in his post). I simply took the source from his ROM and compiled/uploaded it to make it more accessible. This is all done with permission from LinuxBozo.
I will be uploading newly compiled ROMs from source once a day, but this is NOT to be considered a nightly ROM as it isn't being built by the CM buildbot. The daily compiles of this ROM are not each individually tested, so your mileage may vary.
Each daily build will be archived and available to download.
Download:
List of All Builds:
Code:
http://stevemorrissey.com/android/roms/infuse4g/CM7/
Google Apps: Download Here if you don't want to install the Google Apps from Rom Manager (as per the directions)
Directions for flashing:
If you have a RED CWM :
Ensure you have both root and CWM. If you don't, see below.
Copy ROM .ZIP to SD card
Shut phone off. Hold Vol Up + Vol Down and Power on device
Flash CM7 zip
Reboot. You will get stuck at Samsung screen. This is normal.
Pull battery, and reboot into recovery (Hold: VOL+ VOL- Power)
You should now be in ORANGE -OR- BLUE CWM
Go to "mounts and storage"
select format /system
Reflash CM7 zip (NOTE: don't forget gapps as well, you can get the gapps easily using Rom Manger -> Download ROM -> Scroll down to Google Apps)
Reboot into CM7 goodness, made possible by LinuxBozo
Rooting and installing ClockworkMod
Got root? If not, please see THIS VIDEO or simply download, install, and run SuperOneClick
To get CWM on your device, please see THIS THREAD
Additional Items
If you want the clock (as seen in the screenshot below) install mClock then follow the simple steps in this post
Need Help?
Please direct questions to this thread as we don't want to clutter the [SOURCE] thread with questions related to this compiled version.

Quick Stats
As of 11/20/2011, this file has been downloaded from my server ~14,550 times which generated 1.38 TB (that's terabytes) of traffic. Impressive.

Could you include some more details in the 1st post to include mod version build number, kernal, baseband things like that? That way we can all all get a quick check to see that we are uptodate.
Stupid? Why is it a 93 download seems awful small.

Its 97MB, and its a non-TouchWiz ROM without the Google Apps bundled in, there is no reason for it to be large. TouchWiz/Sense/MotoBlur add a lot of bulk for stock ROMs.
93Mb is about right. Small because there is no unnecessary bloatware.

The issue I had with MIUI was not stability as in crashing, but with signal. My device seemed to constantly lose its data connection in moderate signal areas, and it would take 15-30 seconds to reestablish a connection. I don't experience such issues with this CM rom.

I'll give that a try.
Note that the Infuse 4G is currently my only Android device, but I am getting a Sensation today and a Nexus S shortly. That means that since I'll have a backup Android device I will be able to test the daily builds on my handset first to ensure it works properly (or at least installs properly, I won't test most features out).
I currently have a Blackberry Torch for backup, but since the data packages aren't interoperable I need to call AT&T to have my data plan switched every time my Android device is out of commission due to ROM issues.
Good job and thanks for this. I'd probably link gapps in the OP just so people don't flood the thread with "where is my market?!?!"

MMS
Wifi Sending- Works
Wifi Receiving - ??
Data Sending - Works
Data Receiving - Works
GPS- Works
Root Permission - Works
Camera w/Flash - Works
Video - Works
Panoramic Shot - works
Torch- not working
Clock - works
Alarms - works
Stopwatch- works
Signals Bars still not working
I appear to be getting only 1x data and not 3g. I have experienced this problem on the fascinate build also.
Downloading apps from the market seemed to be a problem when on the data network. When I go to download an app, a warning pops up saying the file is too big, i select "start downloading" but it has already canceled the download. This is also an issue on the fascinate build also. I still dont know how to disable the warning.
In the status bar, it says "Roaming Indicator Off" where it should say US Cellular.
Also, when under about phone<status, it says network unknown. This is not a huge problem but just something to fix maybe.
I have experience some miui.home force closes. I get shot back into the app that i was in. Then i rehit the home button and miui.home launches.. it kinda weird but has only happened twice since last night.
As far as that, everything appears to be working fine/ same as the fascinate build.

ParanoidOTA is not working with our device yet. Use GooManager for updates(Once I get official again, it will...)
Many major changes since jb guys and gals! Since pa dropped their website, you have to head over to their Google+ site to see what's exactly happened since our last version...
Archived changelogs
GooIM/manager is now working!
Updates will be rolling thru.
GooManager incremental is not working right atm.
You can either download the ROM here, or, in GooManager, browse for compatible ROMs/TeamFahQ/blaze/pa_t769-2.54=10NOV2012-174533.zip/begin download/etc...
I would suggest doing a fresh install so don't forget to make a good backup via titanium...

since I don't see a q&a, I;ll ask here. I am guessing no wifi calling? I've been so spoilt that I need it now. I need it so bad...
I just flashed your ROM everything seems real snappy and fast but I used CPU spy and the frequencies are strange most of the time its at min or max theres almost no frequencies used in between? Is that a bug in the new kernel or a cm10 bug? Otherwise great ROM so far thanks!
Where do we get the super su files from that is mentioned I'm the flashing instructions?

I didnt need to flash any supersu files? Supersu is installed and i restored all my backups from TB so i know root is working fine without having to flash over anything else but the rom and gapps of course.
Does the camera only save to the internal storage?
@Bradlees wifi calling? No... I might add it later after I get the ui bug fixed (paranoid preferneces)
@DiViNEX CPU spy and the frequencies are strange. Logcat perhaps... Otherwise, I won't be able to track it. Might be the app conflicting with something because the built in cpu monitor looks fine.
@cheddarbob41 su files? Oops... old flashing instructions... I updated OP... Thanks
@mytasteinwomen Does the camera only save to the internal storage? For now, yes... Might change that to external storage later...

Keyboard and signal are fine for me.
For google start up you need to flash Gapps.

havent done anything else.
AOSP keyboard FC from the very beginning.
after signing in to google, at the end it FC.
also is missing feature to sync google contacts
I installed the experimental last night. No issues, everything worked normally. 1.2ghz was the max clock speed which was the only real difference I noticed from the Bruce KANG.
I will probably switch to the nightlies once they start coming out... well, nightly. I see no update today.

Yeah i am still skeptical as to whether this is actually a nighly as i have never seen nightly builds of any device running with an 'EXPERIMENTAL' tag. I think it was just one test build to test the water, if all goes well the nightly build bot should be started.
I'm running this with the sultan kernel.
So far so good.

Very good news! Can tell me someone, what works and what works not so good at the moment? Thank you!
hi,
i've installed it today and tested a few things...
phone, data, wlan, gps seems to work...no fc's and so on for now. feels exactly the same as bruce's rom.
only thing i've found yet is, that chrome has graphical glitches like the bruce-rom.
i will keep it and tell you my further experiences...
