[APP][UPDATED]Latest Play Store v4.0.27 + Black & Transparent Version (28-APRIL-2013)
Hello mates, so today Google released another update for Play Store which brings up some interesting new changes (see the changelog for that) , Im sharing you guys the APK of the latest version of Google's Play Store.

Instructions:
1. Place it any where in your sd card
2. Install it over the Play Store app.
3. Press Thanks.
For Black/Transparent version : Just flash the zip from recovery and clear data. Make sure your Playstore is named as Phonesky.apk in system/app. if not then change the name from vending.apk to phonesky.apk and then flash the zip.

Another very minor update, some fixes in billing.

This is a big update and almost everthing is changed in the play store with a beautiful new minimalistic and Holo UI and it is 10x faster now compared to the older versions.
---> v3.10.14:
The size difference from versions 3.10.10 to 3.10.14 is about 14kb. That is pretty small. Looks mostly like a bug fix update along with a small tweak to the billing code.
---> v3.10.10:
The difference in size compared to the previous version 3.10.9 from about a month ago is about 1.5KB, and after ripping through the APK, I found no significant changes. There are some tweaks to the in-app billing, checkout, and authentication code, but from what I can tell, this is a bug fix release.

I have noticed the latest update does not let me download apps - Moto DROID RAZR. I went into app settings and uninstalled update. Works on 3.9.17.

I had this problem on my Raze i, I sorted it by turning off wifi and trying updates over mobile, when I was prompted to accept new t&c then fine. Unfortunately I'm having same issue with my wifi only Nexus 7 tablet now.

After installing the update, clear the data and cache of Play Store then reboot.Try this and tell me if its fine or not.

The update doesnt depend on ROMs it depends on Google that when they start to roll out the update internationally worldwide and for every device, and now that update is on so every time you flash a new ROM your play store will automatically get updated to this version.

[MOD] YouTube 4.4.11 (v5b), *1080p* / 720p HD (over WiFi & 3G), screen off playback
Hello
I saw some threads floating around about youtube 720p playback, and I really always wanted that myself.
But I was stupid enough not to even try.
I did try now and, yep, I got it working!
How I installed it:
** Remember: Your device must be capable of 1080p/720p video decoding and rooted, unless YouTube is not preinstalled as a system app!
• Removed /system/app/YouTube.apk
• If YouTube is still in the app drawer, go into YouTube app info and tap "Remove installed updates", then "Force stop".
• Install my APK!
If that doesn't work for you, try this alternative method:
• Remove YouTube.apk from /system/app (if there is any)
• Uninstall YouTube if it's still on the drawer
• Push my APK into /system/app (be careful with permissions / ownership)

Can you upload your original latest youtube apk? Which version is it?
I guess this one is not compatible with Froyo/GB.
I think its only for ICS, work with Galaxy S2 CM9, can you also make a version of the black Holo theme Youtube app this is the white version.

Doesn't work on Gingerbread...I think the .apk need to be patched
Dpn't have ICS so can't test on that plateform...
2.4.4 is for GB
3.5.5 is for 3.0+
And you have to set density to 182 to view YouTube HD. Both 2.4.4 and 3.5.5 have built in HD feature...

Yeah, but why bother changing your DPI if you can just install a modded APK?
And does changing DPI enable proper HD functionality?

Ok I got it from some random website.
I'll remove it temporarily.
So, would this app FORCE 720p on GB devices (the 2.4.4)? Got a o2x running GB (CM7.2 temasek's hang) and even though its a 800x480 display the difference between 480p youtube and 720p youtube is huge (clearly seen using jetvd). I have downloaded this version from market but there's no difference is quality (apps 'sees' display's resolution and stays at 480p)

Here is new APK of Google Play. Google just started rolling out an updated Google Play Store version 3.9.16 that follows the previous version 3.8.17 from August. Good news, everyone - we've already got our hands on the APK for you to install manually thanks to our loyal tipsters.
Installation is simple. Just download & install it.
What's New:
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.
Update #1: You can multi-select by long-pressing any app in the list and then tapping more apps, then delete them all in one go (added 2 new screenshots demonstrating it).
Update #2: The new Play Store now keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it drops you into the same spot. I had variable luck with this, and it didn't seem to work in All Apps at first, but I just reproduced it on both the EVO LTE and the Nexus 7. Brilliant.
Update #3: The notification icon that shows up when you have app updates has changed, and notifications are now expandable. I've added more screenshots showing the differences.
Update #4: The notification icon after installing an app now shows the app icon instead of something generic.
The size of the Play Store APK actually went down, so Google must have trimmed some extra fat. We're still digging through everything - in the meantime, check out the screenshots and grab the new version from my Ubuntu One

edit: Tried everything to get Google Play like MJ but didn't get success.

why so..?? do one thing. Download solid explorer. Go to system/app Rename phonesky.apk to phonesky.apk1 & push/copy the latest one in system/app. give permission rights of -rw-r--r-- & reboot. I think this will work fine for u..:fingers-crossed:

I have that version now already, it was downloaded by the application wed. Why I wanted to go to the playstore was to notify the developer I get FC when using the watercolor effect on lockscreen. All other effects are working. I have Galaxy S Advance with JB 4.1.2 stock.

This bug has been fixed. I've pushed and updated version to the Play Store. Just wait for google now

tested the app. no more force close while downloading theme and themes downloading perfectly
only issue is the applied theme is not matching with the device resolution. some components going outside the screen.
Device : moto G

That's strange... Is there, in your download available themes, a theme called "GreenBox"?
Anyway that's strange because all the themes that I've put into this app are taken from here and it's reported working with HD Resolution...
Works great on note 3 man. Love the fact you can change colors in recovery

Delete this folder: /sdcard/TWRP/theme and it will be ok

The only folder in TWRP is BACKUPS...
That's strange...
rename the TWRP folder into TWRP.OLD and let's see what happens

Nothing ... The same i cant see anything if i could i have a backup before it.(TWRP recovery).not the theme
The strange things is that the TWRP Recovery theme system is just to put the zip file into /sdcard/TWRP/theme. If you don't have that folder, the default theme is used. Are you sure you have renamed the right folder?

Yes I am.The only folder in TWRP is backup.If someone haves the original theme so i can put it it will be great.

I am seeing this as well. Items off screen to the right side, but just barely. It is only certain themes, "Dark Minimal" does not fit, but "Greenbox" fits, but it just is not something that I would want to look at. I found a theme, Holo Dark, that works for the most part. It is mostly centered.
Also, the "Local" option, does not show the downloaded themes. When I moved the .zip file, it then fails to install with "unknown" error.
I'm using a Galaxy S3 T999 on CM11 (720x1280)
Suggestions:
Screenshots of the themes would be good, something to show what they look like before downloading.
A root version with a "Reboot to Recovery" option or something similar.
A delete/move option for the downloaded files directly from the app.
Overall a good app with a lot of potential. Thanks.
Nice app but you might need someone to "theme" that logo the unaligned text and the white on the circle make it really messy
I modded the original Google Search apk from Play Store for adding the new Android L material drawables as well as the new voice command sounds.
I know there's a thread showing how to enable material design on the Android L launcher from the system dump, but that will probably not fully work on your device (No "Ok Google" hotword and Google Now issues). This is the regular version from Play Store modded to look exactly like the actual Android L launcher.

Im still looking for one that allows grid size changes like Nova launcher. I dont like KK launcher at all.
You could have used L's launcher for the mod.

That's what I actually did. I took my resources from the .apk in the system dump.
Oh, ok.
Then nvm. Congrats on the APP.
Followed what you said, but it didnt work.
The launcher still uses the old drawer.

Yeah, i did that, but then GoogleHome force closes, and i cant use it unless i install another Google Search, or both doesnt get installed.
Tried again, now it doesnt detect Velvet (Google Search), it says it needs a newer version.

For me it works
To get the different app drawer icon change
ro.build.version.codename=REL
To
ro.build.version.codename=L
In the build.prop. But unfortunately the status bar becomes opaque.
Also, I'm getting gmail and email FCing.

I've tried this in other treads with no luck, but can someone please extract the white app drawer icon for me?
Tried and retried, same results, google search doesnt work. And thus, GNow launcher doesnt either.

Here no need to change anything, it's a modded version of the regular Search app you find on Play Store.
And how do we get the new buttons from the Android L? I mean the home,back and recents?

for those who have this problem, install this version of google search, the version of Android L is 3.5.13, an this is 3.5.14, this works fine

Guys, I think I know how to fix the problems: you have to delete the app data of Google search. Then it works.
Ok, reinstalled everything and it worked well.
Thanks for that themed launcher (However, you could have used GNow Launcher 1.1, not just the resources)

Now that I've flashed this I can't uninstall it ! I can't use the features on my phone. How do I uninstall all this ? Now when I use the google now feature I get "google now has stopped working" I have tried deleting the data and cache but it still gives me the error. I deleted the date before I flashed but that's it.
