Here is new APK of Google Play. Google just started rolling out an updated Google Play Store version 3.9.16 that follows the previous version 3.8.17 from August. Good news, everyone - we've already got our hands on the APK for you to install manually thanks to our loyal tipsters.
Installation is simple. Just download & install it.
What's New:
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.
Update #1: You can multi-select by long-pressing any app in the list and then tapping more apps, then delete them all in one go (added 2 new screenshots demonstrating it).
Update #2: The new Play Store now keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it drops you into the same spot. I had variable luck with this, and it didn't seem to work in All Apps at first, but I just reproduced it on both the EVO LTE and the Nexus 7. Brilliant.
Update #3: The notification icon that shows up when you have app updates has changed, and notifications are now expandable. I've added more screenshots showing the differences.
Update #4: The notification icon after installing an app now shows the app icon instead of something generic.
The size of the Play Store APK actually went down, so Google must have trimmed some extra fat. We're still digging through everything - in the meantime, check out the screenshots and grab the new version from my Ubuntu One

I think MJ can answer it, coz this is not happening to me or any user reported that except MJ.
edit: Tried everything to get Google Play like MJ but didn't get success.

why so..?? do one thing. Download solid explorer. Go to system/app Rename phonesky.apk to phonesky.apk1 & push/copy the latest one in system/app. give permission rights of -rw-r--r-- & reboot. I think this will work fine for u..:fingers-crossed:

1. The Pandora and Slacker simply uninstall the Play Store version of app and sideload the apk....
2. The ones marked System you have to follow instructions in first post.... Copy to System / App and change permission to the image on first post..

The Chrome icon is just a icon, you can use any custom icon apps from market to change the icon to the downloaded icon.... I use Folder Organizer but there is a number of basic apps for this on Play Store.

you right but i have nova launcher and you use the edit button to change the icon so simple but i was thinking that you had to do something difficult, i guess the easiest way is the the simplest way :silly:
so i guess what i'm trying to say that if you installed a third party launcher that functionality is already built in........so there's no need to download a icon changer from the play store......

These are just two folders that Tmogalaxys2 and I put together to put all of the leaked Android 4.2 into one big folder for easy access. Whenever a new app is leaked, we will update the folders. If you find any apps that aren't included in either of the folders, please post in the thread the link for the app and you will get credit.
Note: Tmogalaxys2 and I haven't made any of the apps. Like I said, we only combined them into folders for easier access.

Yeah, you should. Box downloads at around 150 KB/S. Google Drive will be much better. It will be up in around 10 minutes, maybe less.

The difference in size compared to the previous version 3.10.9 from about a month ago is about 1.5KB, and after ripping through the APK, I found no significant changes. There are some tweaks to the in-app billing, checkout, and authentication code, but from what I can tell, this is a bug fix release.

I had this problem on my Raze i, I sorted it by turning off wifi and trying updates over mobile, when I was prompted to accept new t&c then fine. Unfortunately I'm having same issue with my wifi only Nexus 7 tablet now.

After installing the update, clear the data and cache of Play Store then reboot.Try this and tell me if its fine or not.

The update doesnt depend on ROMs it depends on Google that when they start to roll out the update internationally worldwide and for every device, and now that update is on so every time you flash a new ROM your play store will automatically get updated to this version.

You might have done a lot of good work but what the hell is the interest of SAMSUNG app file manager versus free app like ES FILE EXPLORER https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=us.?
For me as a SAMSUNG user this app is a basic app and its main interest is that it was installed by default not its functionalities !
I don't advise to install SAMSUNG file manager whatever the good work you have certainly done.

simplicity and comfort rulez.es file explorer is ......(my opinion,sorry to all),i use only 2 things for my files and apps and thats rootexplorer and now the good old myfiles apk.both have less than 2mb,are in system stored,working perfect and need tiny ram.that gives me awesome performance,es are quite big and have so many useless settings i never use or need.i love it simple,lol.

Ripple effect don't work for me...also app is great but unlocking process is slow. Need to wait for the light effect to end before it unlocks, maybe faster it up a bit

Does the app crash when u set the ripple effect or?

Nothing happens when I choose ripple. It behave like it should work but when I unlock there's no effect at all.
Possible to add music controls?

I think they got into trouble with Samsung.
Edit: When opening the app it will automatically download the latest version of the Lockscreen through their servers. It is very slow and I will upload the latest .apk as soon as possible to Drive/Dropbox and 4shared.

Went to google drive and got this message when I clicked on download:
Sorry, this file is infected with a virus
Only the owner is allowed to download infected files.

All of the other links should work. Also updated to 3.3 right now. Not sure why Google Drive would think it is a virus.
Also @xator91 knows the developer so I think it would be better if he started a thread about the changes and such.

I have that version now already, it was downloaded by the application wed. Why I wanted to go to the playstore was to notify the developer I get FC when using the watercolor effect on lockscreen. All other effects are working. I have Galaxy S Advance with JB 4.1.2 stock.

version 3.3.1 is FCing all the time on my phone. just so you know, something is wrong with the update. have uninstalled it and resinstalled from downloaded file via app and still closing on me.
