Did you fastboot flash the boot.img? The radio is part of CM10, so you need to flash special zip files found in the CM threads (where this should have been posted) to get your EU radio back (CM10 uses the US radio by default, regardless of what your bootloader says...check it yourself in settings/phone.)

Does CM10 always choose US radio when you install it, no matter what? Or is this specific to this situation? It seems like a strange oversight if that's the case.

It includes the latest radio by default, which happens to be from the latest US release. I believe the opinion is that the radio is region independent...It's actually a very cool feature, as even those with high hboot version can replace their radios, they just have to do it with each ROM flash.

[RADIO] (26/03/2012) HTC CHACHA RADIO's (PH06IMG.zip)

WARNING: FLASHING RADIOS CAN BE DANGEROUS. DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR PHONE THAT YOU DO NOT TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. REMEMBER TO RESEARCH FIRST. ALL THE DOWNLOADS HERE HAVE BEEN TESTED TO WORK. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU TRANSFORM YOUR HTC CHACHA INTO A BRICK.
For those who don't know what this is, its the HTC ChaCha radios all made into PH06IMG.zip files.
You will need to have S=Off and superCID set to 11111111 using XTC Clip.
If you don't have XTC Clip, don't ask how to do this, there is no other metode right now, you need to buy it or share from somebody.
How to use this method:
1. Download selected radio file
2. Rename the file to PH06IMG (whole filename PH06IMG.zip)
IMPORTANT: You must rename the downloaded radio file name to PH06IMG in order for it to work. I did not name the flies PH06IMG in case you download multiple radio files to cut down on confusion.
3. Place the PH06IMG.zip radio file on the root of you SD card.
4. Power the phone off.
5. Hold the volume button down and press power on.
6. The phone will boot into Hboot then Bootloader, It should see the PH06IMG.zip and ask if you want to apply the zip.
7. Use the volume up button to select "yes"
8. Once its done flashing, reboot the phone and you should have a new radio.
IMPORTANT: Remember to remove or rename the PH06IMG.zip from the root of your sd card when finished, because if for some reason you need to get into recovery from bootloader, you will not be able to because it will see the PH06IMG.zip file and want to update instead.
NOTE: The above mentioned instructions is the only way to flash the PH06IMG radio files. You can not flash the PH06IMG.zip radio files in ClockWorkMod Recovery like a ROM, it will not work.

i cant find a rom to flash incase something goes wrong while flashing custom roms and i have to revert back to stock.i know i may have to flash rom and the the radio but i really need to know which ones wud work for me...both rom n radio.also if i will be needing to get it s-off again if i flash new rom.
am from india
any help wud be really appreciated...thanks
If you have got s=off, then you will not lose it if you mess with custom roms.
Here you have 1.33 rom and upgrade for it to 1.52 - WWE.
ps. always use newest rom - there are released becouse of prev. bugs - not only becouse that HTC want (and some users think that).

hello...as suggested i have moved over to 1.33(network seems fine that was the only thing i was scared of..poor network reception) from 1.20..but i cant get to 1.52 without unrooting...is there a way out.?cos i paid to guy at gsm service to get it rooted and i dont think he would be helpful enuf to unroot and then re-root it ..besides the place was far from home....so 1.33 to 1.52 without losing root..any options?

Help! Wrong radio

Alright, so I've had an htc sensation running on leedroid 3.10 for quite some time now. Recently it started to restart randomly, so I decided to upgrade my rom. So then I attempted to install insertcoin ICS, but I needed a new radio. So I chose one figuring it would work and now my device doesn't connect to internet or even my data. Whenever I try to install a different radio now to attampt fixing it, it says I have the wrong CID! I NEED my phone to work soon because i have a lot of important things to do that involve it!! Thanks for all help and please respond soon! FYI it says my radio is 10.11.9007.06_M2. Should I maybe reflash the hboot?
EDIT: And in case you're wondering, I've been searching for the solution for hours. I've never been more afraid of anything not working than this phone, and I can't afford a new phone, so please help!
BUMP! Please help I can't sleep because of this
Flash back to stock, do a little research and find the radio version that came with your phone. Flash it.
A lot of times, I've found, the problem with these new unofficial ports of ICS is that the radio doesn't work on them. So go back to stock radio and find a stable ROM to work with.

Thank you, but the same problem persists. I'm not sure what could even be the cause of this problem though. My exact step are to boot by holding vol down and power (im not sure what its called), and then it automatically attempts to install it, but then I get that error message. Afterward I attempted to install it by going to recovery and opening it as a zip file, and that failed just the same.

also is there anyway to install the radio while installing the stock firmware? Why can't you back up the radio anyway? And hwile I'm at it, what does CID even have to do with radio that it would cause these problems? Will location matter? I'm in NJ US.
As far I know you can't dual flash the radio and OS. Also, I think you'll be ok in NJ with a stock radio. Just as fine as you were before all this.

The answer is yes, so do as Pheroh says
Try to either flashing through recovery or manually dd-ing the image files.
Don't take an OTA or run an RUU, as that will update your HBOOT.
You want to stay on 1.08.

I dont want the OTA update, anyway the phone is rooted and using custom rom so dont think ota will ever work.
where can I find the latest radio, zip files flashable thru recovery or fastboot?

I can only hope will improve something. I have a problem with data switching from G to 3G to H for few seconds when I first start every session, I dont know it has impact on actually speed;
most annoying is the Bluetooth dropout from time to time, even at (very) short distances, my earpiece has no problem cause i tested with my other phones.
Anyway, if things goes wrong I still can go back to 0.16 radio I had before ( I hope at least )
Yes, flashing radios is Rom independent. Just don't upgrade to hboot .13 or higher. Or, you will have issues flashing radios. Hope new radio helps.

for the moment I use trickdroid 6.0, probably I'll change in the future if support and updates stop;
from what I know, changing rom's shouldn't change the hboot, only ruu upgrade will change it. true?
correct-
radios and hboots stay unless flashing a ruu
if/when we get s-off then hboot can be changed and we will be able to adjust partition table sizes for more data size
first day of testing, results are confusing
the data icon stays now mostly at 3G, think this is the real provider network; the differences in speed are not noticeable
for the bluetooth, the same thing, earpiece disconnect after few minutes even if with the phone in my hand; something is wrong here; I'll have to look for my older earpiece to try it. maybe plantronics 520 is not fully compatible with htc one s
should I try a custom kernel? any chance will help?
I had the Bluetooth disconnect issue . Haven't flashed a radio yet but flashing the Sensisimo Rom has seem to have fixed the Bluetooth disconnect. Fix could have something to do with the Rom being based off the latest update available (2.21 or something like that). I'm having data disconnect issues, does new radio fix it?
T-MobileUS HTC One S
I would try it, no harm done
looks like bloetooth disconnect is a small bug in trickdroid 6.0; tried another 2 earpieces and all are doing the same;
just flash trickdroid 7.1.0, I'll try it tomorrow and came back with feedback.

Can't flash Radio

I am on stock T-Mobile rom:
Android version 4.0.4
HTC Sense version 4.1
Software number 2.35.531.7 710RD
HTC SDK API level 4.23
HTC Extension version HTCExtension_403_1_GA_20
Kernel version [email protected]#1
Baseband version 1.08ts.50.02.16_10.08e.50.04L
Build number 2.35.531.7 CL96068 release-keys
Browser verion WebKit/534.30
I want to flash a new radio since the version I have the signal keeps dropping and I cannot flash any radio. I am rooted, I go to TWRP and successfully flash a different radio but when I check the settings again it still say 1.08ts. I even tried an older RUU but it keeps failing. I do not want to flash another countries RUU since I'm afraid it will brick it.

I would S-Off the device and then flash the radio installer.
That way you can quickly and easily try a bunch of different radios.
what rom are you on
when you say ck settings, are you talking about Phone/Settings/About Phone
i would have to re-read the OPs on the cm and sense radio installer, but thought with them you could be on a higher hboot, since radio is put into system partition and bypasses htc restrictions. may be wrong--
i did some reading but no time to read all. you need to read them for yourself. talking about the cm and sense radio installer threads
my understanding is with cm rom and cm radio installer you can flash radio if above .09 hboot. it puts radio in system
with sense it puts it to phone. but there was a temporary installer that put it into system and could be used with higher hboots.
don't know if that installer is still available for dl from tecardo
some reading and a nandroid advised as i have no time to read both threads

am pretty sure you flashed the radio properly the first time but fail to check radio version on fastboot since it doesn't show correct radio on settings>"about phone" (known bug)

[HOW-TO]Flash latest Radio in Recovery

How to upgrade to latest Radio
Credits:
turge for help with flashable version
Trick Droid testers incl. nobnut, deagleone, hansbert, dunc, hdneuling, ajthescot, tecardo, kiray being happy guinea test pigs here by flashing this stuff with risky commands first
Me for finding the method and being crazy enough to shoot first at my One, lol
We are glad we have our unlocked devices and can happily flash Custom ROM`s, backup and restore nandroids or flash mods. Nevertheless there are still some restrictions, since we still have no S-Off. Last week the latest 1.29.401.12 OTA update arrived and there is an option to upgrade via firmware.zip.
BUT...
this involves a lot of time and effort by relocking, flashing, unlocking and saving / restoring your sd content and needs matching CID.
NOW...
there is a painless, fast and easy way to use latest ROM base with latest Radio without the need of matching CID
What`s the benefit of upgrading a Radio?
The baseband is responsible for:
Signal quality
WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity
GPS / aGPS
Can improve battery due to improved signal quality
Can even improve camera
and more...
Who needs this?
Everyone who flashed first Custom Rom and also wants best possible signal quality.
This is how you can upgrade your RADIO without S-Off
1. Download Radio update.zip below and copy to your SD
2. Only an optional step for those, who want to have a Radio Firmware backup just in case
a) Connect your device via USB in recovery and open cmd in fastboot folder:
adb shell
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31 of=/sdcard/radio_firmware.img
You will now have current Radio on SD as radio_firmware.img
Expected output:
PHP:
~ # dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31 of=/sdcard/radio_firmware.img
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31 of=/sdcard/radio_firmware.img
153601+0 records in
153601+0 records out
78643712 bytes (75.0MB) copied, 11.826523 seconds, 5.4MB/s
3. Now just flash the Radio update.zip as usual in recovery, reboot your device and enjoy latest Radio
In case you want / need to restore your current Radio backup:
Either you adjust updater script to radio_recovery.img or just do it via adb in recovery:
dd if=/sdcard/radio_firmware.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p31

This is a radio for the latest 1.29.401.12 firmware. If you are not on this firmware, why would you want to flash it?
This mod will flash the radio regardless of CID. All the more reason to make sure that you are on the correct firmware before flashing this (e.g. if you are updating to a later ROM version but haven't flashed a corresponding firmware zip.
The OP is very clear.

This is a radio for the latest 1.29.401.12 firmware. If you are not on this firmware, why would you want to flash it?
This mod will flash the radio regardless of CID. All the more reason to make sure that you are on the correct firmware before flashing this.
The OP is very clear.
