[Q]Transformer Or waiting?

Hi i can become in in the First Week of october the tf101 cause a friend is flying to Florida or is it better to wait for transformer 2?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
no-one can make that decision for you. If you have the money buy now thats what i did, upgrade later
Based on current information the "kal-el" tegra 3 that will be in the transformer 2 and is planned to be here in early 2012...
So if you can wait that long, the sure wait...but I picked mine up yesterday
Think of it this way...you see how many devs are working on tegra 2 devices? Not many yes you answered correctly...so how many do you think would actually just jump right to tegra 3 devices? Not many, your right again!
Haha thats just how I look at at...also not to mention the battery drain, ughhh.

Going to Galaxy Nexus after Having Droid Charge

Just wanted to post my experience and hear of others that are also making the move.
Now I may have a totally different view than most, but Overall, this phone was pretty awesome. First I had a G1 on T-Mobile. The excitement of learning Android and having the first phone was fun. I've been fortunate to be involved in every dessert update. Finding XDA, rooting, learning ADB, all the learning of all the other stuff was awesome. Then I jumped ship and got the Droid Eris. Now shortly after getting it, I regretted the hell out of my decision. I should have gotten the OG Droid. But XDA helped me love my phone. Cyanagen, and other ROMs were awesome, and the Eris forum and developers were funny and friendly. Then with 2 months left in my contract and waiting for the Droid 3 to come out, I won the Droid Charge in the droid landing contest. I enjoyed the 4g fastness and tried to keep things stock, but I keep lingering on XDA and finally gave in. I couldn't believe how easy it was to Root and flash this phone. With that, I spent less time in this forum and didn't really post much. I purchased the TBH app leaks and didn't really come by and participate. But I will say that this phone at first was great, but really is a disappointment. Great cause the SCREEN, the easiness of rooting and flashing, and that's about it. The 4G never works when you need it the most. Don't get me wrong. When it works, its amazing! But those times it freezes and then goes to 3g then goes back and freezes, etc...RAM was not enough to do all this phone is trying to do. And of course the battery, but that's universal.
Now, I've sold my charge and have a prepaid VZW card for $300 ready to pre-order the Galaxy Nexus. My contracts is up, and I still have a new every 2 credit. I look forward to the excitement and fun experienced with the G1. This is a whole new OS, and I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time in the XDA forums. I'm in total love with ICS. I was not disappointed at all with ICS. The hardware of the Nexus, um maybe, but you gotta be real picky. I think this is a phone I can finally have for 2 years and be happy with the whole time. Quad core phones next year, then by 2013 maybe HD projection phones. But this phone should be able to stand up to most competition till then. Hope it gets all the updates, and quickly. Jellybean?
I've got my money ready for the 10th.
I really dig my Charge, but I've been waiting for a pure AOSP experience on Verizon for far too long.
You traded in your Charge for $300 with Verizon?

Isn't anybody ever happy with anything? Is nothing good enough? ICS and the first phone to carry it were just announced not even 24 hours ago and you already want Jellybean on the phone? Good grief.
I want it for the ICS and dual core. Not sure if I'll be able to afford it or not though. Can't really blame ya for wanting to jump since it is such a bada** phone in specs. I'm kinda so-so with my Charge.

LOL...I think my post got misread by yourself, or mistyped by me. What I was referring to is that I plan on keeping this phone for 2 years. I'm hoping that in the 2 years, what ever updates that happen to come out, the Nexus gets them quickly. Then I put jellybean with a "?" thinking maybe if in that time it would get it. Like I posted above, I'm in love with ICS and would be fine having it for 2 years. But we all know that google updates pretty quickly. I have no idea what they could add, cause ICS is great, but when it's(JB) announced, we're all gonna want it, and soon. Just like ICS, GB, FY, ECL, DN, and Cupcake. Ahh, Cupcake.
Man, I remember waiting for Cupcake and wanting it so bad. Touchscreen keyboard, widgets, and record/playback video.

Doing this too. I paid full price for my charge since my contract wasn't up, but it is now. So hopeing to use that 50%-60% that I'm supposed to get back to buy the Galaxy Nexus. Now watch them not carry it >.<
Kind of in the same boat. I'm just not sure I can deal with this phone for 2 years. I've looked around a bit to see what I can get for it plus the stuff I got for it. I'm more interested in the Droid Razr, but regardless I don't know if I can justify that kind of cost.

Hi guys!

Upcoming Atrix 2 owner here! My Atrix 1 died. It shutdown in the middle of a Google + Hangout and I could never get it to boot again. That phone was just starting to be awesome as well. I had CM9 (ICS) and they just got 2D acceleration working! It was so cool.
I got an early upgrade from AT&T. They didn't have any Atrix 1s left, so I was offered an Atrix 2 for $99. The Atrix 1s I was finding on ebay were at least $250. I really like the hardware in the Atrix 2. The 4.3 inch screen (non-PenTile) looks really nice.
So ya. I got an Atrix 2! It will come in the mail in a few days. I can't wait!

Someone stole my Blaze.... :(

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce...my Blaze is gone. I fell asleep at a party & when I woke up, it had vanished. The douche probably ripped out the sim card, too, so no go there.
It's been a fantastic ride, and I wish all you guys the best. You ARE the best.
Phone shopping it is then.... :crying:
Love & peace.

Yeah, I was bawling too...:crying:
I've now got a Nexus 4, but it ain't the same...I'm used to having a sexy phone I can slip in my pocket! I'll get used to it, but I think I'll hunt on Amazon and grab another Blaze soon! I love the customizations y'all guys are doing!
I won't disappear, though...I'll still be around! This was the first Android I've ever had, and I've loved it from day one!

I remember my first Android. HTC Thunderbolt. I was in Iraq (Camp Ramadi, to be specific) and my contract with Verizon was suspended during my deployment, so I bought it on launch day for full retail of $750 online. Prior to that, I had the Blackberry Tour, and prior to that a Motorola Windows CE phone. Since the Thunderbolt, I got a Wildfire S (never do THAT again), a Galaxy S II i777, Blaze 4G, and Galaxy S II i989. If my next device isn't a Nexus, it'll probably be a Sony or Motorola. As much as I love the Blaze and S II's, Samsung is starting to become a burden with their blobs and lets face it, their last couple flagships have been shoddy at best, at least construction-wise. And the big center physical buttons? What is this, 2010? Nobody wants that. At least, I don't.

Ah well. Time to dive in...

I want to use my Xoom again.

Hello all. I see a lot of comments on this board about how people still use their Xoom and that its performance is still great, but I cannot seem to join in with the Xoom love, although I really want to. I bought the WiFi Xoom when it first came out about 4 years ago, and I used it a lot at first, but honestly, I haven't really used it much in the past 2 years or so. Every ROM I've tried is ridiculously slow to the point of usability being next to zero. I'd love to have a newer tablet like a Nexus 9/10 or something, but I don't want to fork over the money because I rarely use tablets since I have a Note 4 and a Yoga 2 Pro. Is there a specific ROM that everyone is getting such great performance on their Xoom with? I'd like to be able to use it again.
Well if its that slow for ya it must be something your doing! I have an MZ602 that I had received as a gift that I've had for about 4 years now and I adore it! Running CM11 and its quite snappy and the battery life is killer! I had a nexus 10 for almost a year that I sold over my stingray mz602 so I honestly have no idea what you mean by slow! And I also have a Note 1 and 4,a Droid RAZR xt912 a sprint galaxy S3 and an MZ601 Wingray Xoom! And the only things I'll NEVER part with are my xooms!
