[Q] How To Root Inject Stock N8010 Firmware? - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I rooted my Note 10.1 using this method, i should probably state i used this method over the CWM method as i do not want to trip the counter and void warranty on a new tablet.
http://rootgalaxynote.com/galaxy-note-10-1-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-10-1/
Unfortunately the firmwares included here are not for the UK model GT-N8010. I have tried searching for one that has been done already but cant find one so i need to inject the root into the stock firmware i have downloaded from sammobile.
Unfortunately the knowledge of how to do this is outside my skill set could anyone point me in the direction of a guide or tell me how to do the root injection.

[Q] Rooting Verizon Galaxy Note II 4.3 after tripping Knox and 4.1.1 downgrade

Okay guys. Here we go. I screwed up the other day while trying to load a custom ROM following a friends instructions. I tripped Knox on my Verizon Note II 4.3 and was forced to downgrade to 4.1.1. My phone is no longer rooted and I am trying to figure out how to root from 4.1.1 with a locked bootloader and then use safestrap to install custom ROMs. Sadly I cannot find any info anywhere after several hours of searching. I've read up on Knox and I could care less about warranty info (I bought the phone used after all) and I just want to be able to load custom ROMs so I can better enjoy my phone while being able to restore APN settings since I am running on a non-Verizon carrier service. Please help!
Edit: I used RootChecker to make sure that my phone is no longer rooted after downgrading to 4.1.1
Edit: Fixed with Kingo Root

[Q] Canadian Galaxy Core SM-g386W rooting

Hi everyone,
i have been searching for 2 weeks how to root this phone, but no luck yet. I am saying no luck for a proper way to do it , because you can do it with the avant method, or by using the CF method which uses the SM-G386T firmware, and for reading lots of forums, i know it works, but the problem is if i ever want to update later, i would not be able to do so. I already have the firmware for my phone, G386WVLU1ANJ1, running android 4.4.2 KITKAT, and i have extracted the recovery.img from the firmware file. I am searching how to unlock the bootloader so i can apply whatever rooting method i want. Since i am new to this, i need some information. If i ever want to use the CF-Auto-Root method using the SM-G368T model, can i go back to stock phone whenever needed by flashing recovery image from the SM-G386W ?. If not, is there any other method i can use, preferably one that doesn't trip my KNOX flag to 0x01. Until now i have tried 2 methods, Towelroot and Z4root, which didn't work at all. The main reason i want to root is i want to get rid of the bloatware installed by default on my phone and gain control of my phone without any restrictions, and customizing it.
Please need help.
Thank you very much
P.S: can anyone recommend some reading about rooting android phones?

I also own one of these phones and would like to root the phone to get rid of bloat ware and make the phone run smoother. I would appreciate if you could give a quick run down on how you managed your root. Greatly appreciated.

Help rooting GS6(SM-920i)

I recently purchased a galaxy S6 (SM-920i) running Android 5.1.1 in the hope of rooting it and flashing it with a custom rom. I'm a novice at this, and have not been able to find a decent tutorial on this subject. I'm not concerned with tripping the knox counter by the way. Any help in this matter will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I did the following on mine (920F):
Get a kernel with root (Unikernel) and flash it via ODIN (since I did not wanted to flash a rom right away and that also comes with auto root).
Get the TWRP ODIN flashable .tar from http://twrp.me
Profit.

Questions About Rooting Note Pro 12.2

Is this the most recommended method to root my Verizon Note 12.2? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783950
Is this a permanent root? Will I be able to receive and install OTA updates from Verizon if I use this root and will the root be uninstalled as a result?

That's a good question . I'm looking to root without tripping Knox on my wifi version I just purchased off of ebay. I'm looking for an tar.md5 to start with.. Any help would be appreciated.
Same here. A White WiFi Note 12.2 64GB I bought off eBay, which according to Samsung's website, doesn't exist.
Hello,
Great tablet... I just got one off ebay myself and I see towelroot does not work- app not installed. I Allowed unknown sources in security. I am curious as to why you guys are concerned about tripping the knox since this I think this tablet would be out of warranty, unless you would not want to trip it for resale?
Any success on rooting so far? I am no too experienced but the first thing I'd like to do is get the apk from this enhanced s-note on all my other note tablets and phone.

I tried 2 different versions of Kingroot with no success.
Hi I used the cf auto root - check the 1st pic I attached. Once you plug in a windows pc it should download the samsung drivers then download that specific dl in the pic (I can't copynpaste on here)- it gives you the latest odin program download. It really easy from there. Once you reboot, supersu is there. I then dl'd root checker, titanium backup, busybox, root explorer and most important twrp manager from the play store. It was all too easy. I'm on 5.02 and I did check the knox and it started but stopped and said it couldn't be accessed at this time. I'm keeping the stock rom and just wiped dalvik and cache in recovery.

The most effective way to root this tablet is with Cf-autoroot. It will trip the Knox counter but it will permanently enable SuperSU on your device.
If you root your device you will NOT be able to take OTAs. If you run rooted stock firmware it will alert you that an update is available but most likely it will fail to install. I tried updating my firmware while rooted via Kies and it failed each time.
