OK, so I have a slightly tricky situation.
I have a RAZR Maxx and my boss has a RAZR HD. His Google maps voice is currently a male with a UK accent. The crazy part is his text to speech is sent to English US and when I listen to a sample voice it is the female English US voice.
My RAZR Maxx Maps voice is the female US and if I change to English UK I get the UK Male maps voice.
I had him toggle from English US to UK then back and reboot the phone and he still has the english male voice...
Any ideas?
No guesses?
Man that's funny, I had the same problem with my old Razr MAXX.
Sorry, I never did figure it out. Sometimes I had the woman's voice, and sometimes the man's UK voice. Sometimes they switched during the same navigation too.
It was the weirdest thing.

Hi folks,
can any users of the HTC HD Mini tell me if it has voice activated dialing and how it works (hold down one button to activate it like on iphone 3gs maybe)
Thanks
Hi can anyone please tell me about voice activated dialing on this phone?
Has it got this feature?
How does it work?
How effective is it?
I'd appreciate your advice asap as I want to buy this phone today.
Thanks
Ian
Greetings All,
I just got CM7 working on my Droid2 Global. Everything is peachy except that when I make or receive a phone call it kills my 3G Connection. Now, it does come right back on after the call and I know for a fact this is a Verizon thing because it did this on Stock and also on my Droid Incredible.
My question is, is this a software or hardware "thing"? I'm wondering if theres someway to keep the 3G connection going WHILE on a call or if its Carrier specific and cannot be overrode.
It is a carrier thing, notice tv ads for at&t always tout their networks ability to surf while on a call. This is the same for most cdma carriers, the exception being while conneted on 4g, their networks aren't able to simultaneously do both data and voice.

I have an unlocked Telus HTC One S that I am currently using on Rogers. A few weeks ago, Rogers released HD Voice to a select list of devices. I was excited to see that the HTC One S (PJ40110) was included. I cannot figure out how to enable my phone to use it. I am aware that for it to work, you must call someone with a HD Voice ready phone on Rogers. My bro has an iPhone 5 on Rogers and HD Voice has been working for him (sounds awesome). Any ideas on what I can do? My connection jumps from 3g to H not a stable 4g. Could this be a reason why?
Does any know how to enable HD Voice on Oneplus One? I am already using CM12.1 using Android 5.11 code base which suppose to support HD voice. But as far as I can tell, the voice quality during a phone call is just normal. I used to able to use Nexus 5 calling my wife's iPhone 5s and the sound quality is much better. I believe that's HD voice but I am not 100% sure.

The only requirement is hd voice. So if the phone has hd voice then numbersync should work.
