[Q] JellyBam crash when set Mobile Net. Acces Point Names - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

I've installed JellyBam version 212.11.14 (the same with previous versions) it looks very nice, but when try to set my mobile network in:
Settings->Wireless&Networks -> More..->Mobile Networks ->Access Point Names the app crashes and return to Sttings Home, so there is no way to configure my 3G.
With other roms this works with no problem (Slim Bean, Remics-JB...) this problem is only with JellyBam

WiFi problems

Hi to everyone.
I have problems using wep-tkip (certificate) and to connect on any secured wifi networks. I do manage several wifi routers and I tried several configurations (wpa, wep) etc and I am able to connect only on the unsecured networks.
Also, in Paris there's a network from FREE internet provider named 'freephonie' wich offers a personal certificate to auth/connect on any of their wifi-spots for sip calls.
I tried any of the roms listed on the UniversalMobile 6 forum but I didnt managed to connect using any of those roms.
Am i missing smth?
thanks
As far as I know, most WM6 ROMs have an issue with WPA-PSK. However, if I recall right, the newest roms as well as Beasty-Leo's amalgam ROM is free from this bug. Try that, and see what happens

[Q] Custop ip setup

i just got my shiny one s today and tried to get wifi from my router, strange but theres no option or setting to do so, as it was on lets say desire hd, would you explain me how to to do that and whats going on, i installed wifi manager and it says something about changes google made its inaccessible now, thanks
Oh yea , that's strange. I just tested an app I used to use on my galaxy s2 called WiFi static and it works. Just open the app and go to add configuration and then generate and is all done for you. This app is handy because it will switch ip settings automatically when you log onto another wireless network.
You don't mean Settings > Wifi > Menu > (drop down options) Scan or Add Network or Advanced?

Mobile network problem

Hey guys!
Since i updated the firmware to 3.33 and installed the elegancia ROM, my mobile network connection is "damaged". There are these two arrows for up- and download, yeah? Only the upload arrow works. How is this possible? I use the maxthon browser and always when i use it, it works perfectly, but if i run an app like "funny jokes" or "draw something" it stops working. Then, there is no more internet connection available...
Things i tested already:
Full Wipe
Flight mode on/off
tried another radios
firmware downgrade
used another ROM (ARHD 6.7.1)
All of these points were useless. The APN settings are correct btw....
I need help!

P.S. Sorry for my possibly bad english ^^

[Q] Carbon Rom on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 p7500Signal or Mobile Data Toggle

@kasper_h Hi, I installed your carbon rom on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 p7500. It works better than what I had before (CM) as there's less lag and some nice features but I can't seem to find a toggle for signal or data to turn on and off mobile data. Could you help me? Thanks very much! Currently all I can find is a 2G toggle to turn 2G off (which seems to default to 3G) or to force 2G on. I want to be able to turn off mobile data completely for when I'm at home or overseas and use wifi.

HY,there are several ways. Some roms offer you the option by long pressing the power button which gaves you a menu including mobile data toggle. If this doesnt work for your rom go to settings ,more and APN which means acess points names and select the option that suits your data plan. The easier way is to go to play store and download a app like beautifull widgets that will help you toggle on mobile data(to make sure this works you need to make sure that apn is set as it should,if you are not sure just call your provider and ask them)PLEASE PRESS THANKS IF I HELPED!!!!

I'm gonna thank you anyway. Some good ideas but Carbon power menu doesn't seem to have the option. I didn't want to have to install another widget or app just for this so I'll see if I can wait, maybe they'll fix it in an update. I know other carbon users I talked to at the irc channel said they have a "signal" toggle to add on to control data but I've looked so many times and it isn't one of the toggles I have on my tab. Apparently tab 10.1 is an unofficial device! crying:

@kasper_h Hi sorry a little bump. I just flashed your 1 July version for carbon rom for my Tab 10.1 (p4) and I did notice my auto-rotate which seemed to be broken on 18 June version is now working. Great work and thanks! Still cannot find a signal or mobile data toggle. Am I just not looking in the right place? I haven't tested the GPS to see if it's more reliable yet. On the older Carbon Rom, GPS worked but dropped signal a few times suddenly while I was driving (my i9305 was able to maintain GPS tho).

[Q] CM12: How to disable wifi/3G usage at same time

Hello,
I have a "problem" with wifi/3G usage at same time:
Generally Android uses wifi OR 3G, at least as I know and as it worked on ROMs <CM12. When I come home and login to my wifi, I see that some apps are using 3G while wifi is connected. If I then disable 3G and reactivate it, my phone stops using 3G. This happens only in my home wifi. I assume that there's a "problem" with my network config. I'm using a firewall with web proxy, everything is blocked so all devices are forced to connect to web via 8080. Proxy ist configured in the wifi settings. However there are plenty of apps that are not interested in using this proxy - it seems Android decides then to use 3G.
Could it be like that: CM12 connects to my wifi and discovers that all ports are blocked except 8080. All Apps trying to connect directly to the internet can't do that and CM12 directs them to 3G?
In Samsung Settings you are able to set an option to allow the usage of both networks, if wifi is poor. But in CM 12 I can't find such option. How can I disable that?
---
One more thing: I use very often system profiles but always have to go to settings to change the profile. Is there a way to configure the action bar buttons like in CM11?
TIA
Hello again, I'll give it another try. No one noticed that with CM12?

I can't answer your specific question, but as a short term workaround, maybe try installing SmartWiFi Toggler, it has an option to force a disconnect mobile data when you're connected to Wifi.
