Please help!
Basically, when I'm laying down, and the phone isn't rightside up as it would be if you were sitting/standing upright holding it to your ear, the person on the other end has a very hard time hearing me.
For instance, last night I'm laying down watching TV and I get a phone call. I answer, HELLO? HELLO? HELLO? The can't hear me. They hang up and call back, same scenario except this time I sit up midways through the HELLO's and all of a sudden they can hear me.
Last time wasn't the first time this happened, just an example. It's been happening for the last year+. It's easy to duplicate these results.
Was wondering if this is a known issue and if there's anything that can be done about it. The mic isn't any further from my mouth than it would be when I'm sitting upright. I did some searching and found some people talking about this issue with the original Droid but nothing about why or how to resolve the issue.
Anyone who has figured out the solution to this problem, please let me know. Thank you

Hey guys and girls,
Recently, my TP screen died. I was sleeping at the time so I am not sure exactly what happened.
The phone seems to function perfectly aside from the screen. Turns on, lights up, etc.
It did magically come on for a short amount of time. When it did, it was ghosting lines to the right if that makes sense. Not constantly though, it would flicker.
Now, does anyone know what this issue is? I've read a bunch of threads on here and haven't really found a definitive answer.
Help!
Cheers.
One more thing. The touchscreen function works fine, just not the screen.

The light behind the home button on my Fuze came on yesterday and stays on. It comes on as soon as you turn the phone on. It's very, very bright, much more so then when then lights come on behind the other buttons when they go active. Makes it hard to look at the phone. I pretty sure it's a hardware short but I thought I'd double check on the forum so see if anyone thinks it could be software or some setting I don't know about. Not as strange as it might sound. I've had other issues where setting got changed when the phone was in my pocket.
I'm not looking forward to trying to disassemble this thing. The Hermes was enough of a pain. I'm guessing this one is worse.
Thanks
I have the same problem since yesterday, so if anyone knows the solution I'd appreciate if he can share it.
Thanks.
The issue has gone by itself, so I presume it was some hardware issue caused by excess moisture (phone had contact with my wet hait/ear when I had to answer call when I was in the shower... too many information for some, I know )
Oops, I thought I was posting this in Inspire 4G section. Can someone please move this there? I made a mistake...
Hi,
I've had this problem several times so far. At first, I thought maybe it was just a one time thing, but it happened again, and it's pretty problematic as it eats up battery, so I'd love to know if anyone else has this issue or knows a fix.
The problem:
- Out of nowhere, the screen comes on (locked screen).
- The screen stays on unless I do something. I mean, it stays on forever unless I do something to it.
- When I log in, the phone all of sudden starts vibrating forever unless I press the volume up/down button. It's not going vvv...vvv...vvv... Instead, it goes, VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV! forever unless I stop it.
It's really weird, and I don't know how to fix it. It's also random.

First of i want to thank the many people on here that have tried to help me fix my problem, from the PM's to the replies in various topics i posted on. Let me refresh you of what was going on. My screen would turn on by itself and turn off after 10 or so seconds and turn on Car Mode while doing this. This would happen at random times, but lately it would do it continuously. It would turn for 10 seconds or so, turn off, then turn right back thus draining my battery in a matter of an hour or so. Also, with this problem the speakerphone would be on by default when i received/made a call since the phone thought it was in car mode. This would annoy the piss outta me!!! I had traded my iphone 4 for the inspire and found myself wondering WTF did i just do. The phone had worked great when i received it. It had the Ingersoll Rom on it but I had wanted something with more eye candy so i installed Coredroid. It seemed like after i had done this, my problems had started...
I installed just about every ROM i found on XDA to see if it was a problem with a flash or something. No Luck. I began to google my problem and found it to be quite common and wasn't related to a specific ROM at all, but no one seemed to have a fix for it. To me it seemed the phone was almost shorting out. So i thought the connection in the usb port was jacked up. I ended up shoving a USB cable from monoprice in and bending it upwards. I suspected that this cable was the culprit so i didnt care if I bent the **** out of it. It worked for maybe 5 minutes or so. That was a big step for me! So after that i decided to use a small flat head screw driver. I took out the battery, micro sd and sim card. I laid the phone screen up on my desk and stuck the screwdriver in the bottom of the usb port and pried up on it rather hard. By the bottom i mean the on the bottom side of the 5 connectors. Thats all! My phone is rock solid again and i don't have to use my Upgrade, which took effect today lol. I am not sure if this is a permanent fix or not and i take NO responsibility if you try this and end up [email protected] your phone up. Sorry for the long read.
Hello.
I know this has been here posted million times, I just wanna make sure.
I got myself a second hand Nexus 5 yesterday, and today afternoon its vibrations suddenly stopped completely.
The way I know this for sure is
when I put the phone into vibrations only, and someone calls me, nothing happens, just the screen pops up with incoming call, no vibrations.
BUT, when I put the phone to my ear when incoming call, I hear a weird sound. Like it is vibrating, but very silently.
Should I just return the phone OR is there ANY way to fix this?
It's kind of weird as the phone was working 100% the first day, and most likely even before, with the original owner.
Thanks. Feel free to erase this post . Peace.
Press the middle of the Nexus lettering in, there's a clip that's loose
