AOSP means a ROM built from the official, google-endorsed Android source, with stock apps and widgets and all that implies.

Buddy this can be discussed in off topic thread why are you creating new thread for this....
ASOP is android open source project. AOSP is not a rom but it gives the source code, so we conventionally call those ROMs AOSP. Never heard of ASOP

See. Google releases their source code that is AOSP.
Direct Google Source. No modifications. CM is also AOSP but highly modified! AOSP means PURE ANDROID dats all i know..
Wait for CyanogenMod team to merge Android 4.2 into their code.
EDIT: Compiling and fixing pure AOSP is very difficult, it also lacks many small features which CM or other AOSP based ROMs have. And sometimes frameworks are also broken.

I will have my computer shortly, Then I will setup a Dev thread nd go from there.
the rom which u r working on is based on gb or ics?
just curious
Is Lewa this?...Ya, just do it, I would like to try that on my phone, too
Here is what I found on Google :
LeWa OS is a new Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread based custom ROM that mixes features from both CM7 and MIUI ROM, for a new and unique experience. With a UI like MIUI, but with CM7.2 features like the inbuilt theme engine, along with fast performance

Motorola has released the sources of our smartphone
Here is the link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/motog.motorola/files/
Hehe
Motorola hasn't ''released the source'' for the G, many things needed to the fun start will probably be out along the next days. But it's a beginning

anyone who knows what their doing can build any of the AOSP based rom's for the moto G, with the sources available. (unofficial)
but if your asking if its been announced that the moto G is getting those officially then i have no idea.
Yes i'm talking about announcement by the MIUI , CM or PA Team. I ask it to Silencer96.

most official builds come from people maintaining unofficial builds, so you will more than likely see it here before its made official
New Version Source:
14.10.0Q3.X-84-14

As far as I can tell this is only the sources Motorola are legally required to open source.
Sorry guys, no device configs here

Yeah, the kernel configs are what's legally required by Motorola. Every manufacturer has to release the sources as part of the GPL. It's really nothing special
They legally don't have to but if they want to be googles favorite then they will they could release a manual and still be aosp

I'm working in a fully device config based in CM configs from other motorola phones, and i expect a build in the nearly days.

Is there something Motorola have not released that they have done for other phones? Would it be worth requesting?

Is licenses stuff, some android parts are GPL(Open source), these are Kernel and minor things, the rest of important part(Device and Vendor) are APACHE2 and the brands are allowed to don't release it.
Do the device and vendor repos contain drivers or just configs? Sorry for the noob question...

No, omni will possibly be official in future. They already merged needed patches for our device and i9082. But the frameworks patch can't be included in their sources, so I need a native vibration fix first

I don't know why the developers did not build a pure AOSP rom yet, although SONY provided AOSP sources
Up
More or less AOSP http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/rom-zyxxos-5-1-1-v1-0-pure-stable-fast-t3229169
Not sure if it's for D6633

there are AOSP roms, but there's very little development on this side. you can try CyanogenMod though has issues with camera (fisheye bug mainly)

a quick look at the thread denotes a "bootable/working state" but no signal for d6633
my title says it all, I am very used to CM and like to be certain I'm getting all the current updates. Stock is off course always an option, but not my first choice. Thanks for your help.
Lol every other rom. every rom except AOSP rom has all the CM14 features included. You can also us Lineage OS wich is MC continuation
That's some "LOL" recomendation. "Lineage OS" ?!? Doesn't even exist yet.

"Lol every other rom. every rom except AOSP rom has all the CM14 features included. You can also us Lineage OS wich is MC continuation"
Every other rom is not a good recomendation! It's nothing! I know that Lineage OS is MC continuation, or at least that's what's planned.
u misuderstood. I meant, official cm14 had not much features, and MOST of the roms already have these. Anyway, Krexus 7.1.1 came out. Has OMS. working gogle camera recording, is AOSP based. Pixel animated navbar
