How is 2520mAh HTC SENSATION XE extended battery works? - HTC Sensation

Hi,
can anybody give me advise on 2 x 2520mAh HTC SENSATION XE AMAZE 4G EXTENDED Battery + Dock Charger G14 Quality.? Is there any reviews?
http://orders.ebay.in/ws/eBayISAPI.d...d=221144738403

i dont think a true 2520 mAh battery can fit inside original battery cover. So probably fake.(maybe around 1800-1900 mAh in reality).
I ordered mugen power battery from mobilefun india site, for INR 2270 (including shipping cost from UK).
I suggest u to look at this page: http://in.mobilefun.com/33227-mugen-power-htc-evo-3d-sensation-xexl-extended-battery---1950mah-Reviews.htm

And it's gone now. I can assure you it was a fake. No battery of the 'regular' size has a capacity that high. If I were you, I'd consider buying a battery from a trusted reseller, like Anker.

Fake, definetly

[Q] 1600mah battery?

UK company BMC Digital claims to have a 1600mah battery for the Desire HD... for just 6.50 UKP. That can't be right, surely?
They also have a 1230mAh battery for 16.95 UKP, which seems more believable.
Sorry that I can't post the links yet, as I'm a new user.
The typical capacity of a battery is one thing but what they print on the label is another thing! I think, it's impossible to improve the original battery 1230 mAh about 370 mAh to 1600 mAh and sell it for less than the half price.

Well I just bought one for the hell of it, will let you know it's performance probably this time next week.
I got 2 of them 1600mAh with a bundle from good old ebay. I've been using them and they last at least as long as the original but not convinced they last much longer....
At least they work! so far
Cheers,
hey do you think it will be possible to make extended batteries (with cover) for dhd? because it has unibody

I don't think so, the battery have to be relatively the same size as the original battery, especially when the battery cover is used as antenna too.
try here for batteries - including extended one...
here is the link...
go to mugen-power-batteries dot com and then to the htc-desire section...
There is only one in the list.
its 1300mAh for 45$.
Very expensive and not very usefull.
Only 70mAh more -.-
So I used the one that was delivered for a couple of days, and let me tell you it is utter 'DOG-EGG' it doesn't last anywhere near as long as the original, but £6.50 for a spare ain't half bad.

Cheap high capacity batteries for the HTC Sensation

Hello, I've searched on eBay and found some interesting high capacity batteries with low price for the HTC Sensation.
1650MAh High Capacity Battery for HTC Sensation - $5
1800MAh High Capacity Battery for HTC Sensation - $11
I'd like to hear your opinion on the reliability of these batteries because I'm a little suspicious because of the very low price. I already have a cheap 1600MAh battery (bought on eBay) for my Desire and I haven't had any problems with it but I'd not like to risk my new Sensation. As you can see the 1800MAh battery I link above is in a retail package so it should be more reliable and it has a lot more capacity than the stock battery of the Sensation.

One question, how come they have higher capacity over HTC and cost less money? I truly believe that if HTC could efficiently put more mAh in they would.
With current battery technology you would require a battery that was physically bigger to fit the extra capacity.
Be suspicious

But, other phones like the GS2 have higher capacity battery in the same form factor. I can't really know if this is really 1800MAh but I can purchase it and if it's not I'll just make a paypal dispute or keep it as a backup battery.
I like the funny oxymoronic title. I'd imaging the battery on sale is either no 1800MAh or would not hold the charge as long as the stock battery.
But I'll buy one as I need a backup battery. I'll report back after couple of weeks use.
Giorgis, search HTC Desire capacity tests. Basically, batteries have something, let's call it "efficiency". HTC battery was 96%, and that is considered top notch in the battery world. Cheap ones, had "efficiency" of 70-80%, so even with less capacity, HTC outperformed them.
I've bought these cheapo batteries before on my nexus one, MT3G, MT4G, HD7 and now just ordered Sensation...they are hit and miss.
Every one of the batteries were used as backup emergency situations but each one for each phone lasted around 2-4 hours less then the OEM battery. The exception was the 2 higher capacity batteries I bought for my HD7 which lasted just as long as the OEM one...
It's $10-20 and the ones I have bought in the past all come with an external battery charger that also serves as a multi purpose USB charger...and have not damaged any of the phones so far ...Keeping my fingers crossed :$

[Q] Where to buy the battery from the Sensation XE

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy the new larger capacity battery for the Sensation XE in the UK, please?
I have a normal Sensation and I hear the battery will fit so I'm looking to get a bit of extra run time with the XE battery!
Thanks
Just buy an Anker 1900 mAh battery off of eBay. They are a lot cheaper, and just as good as the xe battery.

Yeah, I said go for the Anker either on ebay or amazon.com (you can see the reviews on amazon). I bought one, I couldn't be happier after a day of mid to heavy use I am left with 40% or more.

NEWS: Mugen Power 3600mAh and 1950mAh for Sensation / Sensation XE

Today I got these news:
Mugen Power has updated their compatibility checks and these two batteries are compatible with both Sensation and Sensation XE:
1950mah
3600mAh
Thats some upgrade compared to the standard Sensation battery!
It's good that they are compatible with XE. Looking into buying it!
Having a battery last as long as this one claims would be great, but i don't think its worth the 65 quid ($105) and having that abomination of a case extension. Still think i might invest in an Anker battery.
It would be interesting whether this battery has really 1950 mAh.
May someone is able to confirm this?

Cannot confirm directly on this product cuz I have not bought it yet but I can vouch for Nexus S, HTC Desire and SGS2 cuz I have Mugen batteries for all three. Works like charm.

[Q] Which is the best battery

Hi guys
Which battery is the best for the sensation I have not tried and anker 1900mah battery but have tried BXT 2300mAh which I bought from ebay I have had good battery life on aosp roms but not on sense roms? just wondering
Anker 1900 seems to be the best. Haven't got it myself though.
I have heard great things about the Anker battery.
Will be getting one myself once i have been paid.
certainly the Anker, I have two of them and they have both worked amazingly!

What about the 2500mah on eBay?
Can u post a link for the 2500mha battery?
I hav the Anker battery and it works just fine, perhaps u hac heard of the touchscreen issue? For me it doesn´t lift the bottom of the phone.
Also the phone don´t get warmer as before...
2500: http://www.ebay.it/itm/2500MAH-Batt...826431?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4ab6862c7f
A lot of people are pointing towards anker batteries, the thing is it's pretty hard to get one down here in Malaysia. So currently i am using MoMax and am having no problems with it. With moderate use (texting, phone calls, browsing, facebook) my battery can last 1 whole day with 30% still left..Don't have the picture to prove it but i can guarantee you that it has happened on more than one occasion.
what about these ones?
http://www.amazon.com/2050mAh-AceSo...72Z8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334708111&sr=8-1
All those 2000+ mAh batteries are fake if they are same in the size. They put on the sticker, but real capacity measured is equal or worst compared to the Anker 1900/ OEM 1830 ones - as read from user who bought such batteries
can anyone post a link for anker battery ?
It looks like it isn't for sale any more..

I found (and ordered! ) the equivalent on Amazon.fr. To find it on the french site, ask for "batteries Anker 2 x 1900mAh Li-ion pour HTC Shooter, Amaze 4G, Sensation, + caricabatterie da viaggio USB".
Maybe you can order it from UK.
Sometimes, the items I order on Amazon.fr come from UK (cartridges). I imagine the opposite is possible.
