So I have started having problems streaming pandora and 8tracks while on Galaxy mod rls5 or rls6. Pandora loads up and plays but after a little time I start to get a nasty interfearence noise kinda like in transformers when the little bot was hacking into the mainframe noise. (Sorry it was the best description I could come up with). It doesn't do it all the time but enough to be really annoying. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling pandora with no luck. I also factory reset and wipe cash/dalvic and that did not help either.
Any ideas what to try?

No ideas eh. well i flashed a diff rom and the problem went away but i dont like this new rom. so once i have enough posts i will post in the devolpers form

I've had problems with Pandora lately, too. Though I am using bluetooth, it was cutting in and out on me. Maybe they had problems this weekend?

I'm getting an error message when I attempt to play video from various sites (MSNBC, ESPN, for example):
You do not have permission to open this page...
And when I do get to a page and video does play, the audio sounds awful - it's slowed way down, to the point of not being able to understand anything.
Anyone else experience anything like this?
I just tried out ESPN and MSNBC and I got the same "You don't have permission" messege. I don't, however, have any audio issues with the sites that have worked (so far anyways). I went to TBS.com and watched some Family Guy episodes with no issues.
Funny, Family Guy played fine on tbs.com (audio was fine too!) I'll try to get an example of one that doesn't have good audio...

I checked the sony site out, and got a little flash icon (9), so I assume I don't have the most updated version...will look into that.
I'm on eb16 with p-n-p, a touch of color rom, voodoo, and the latest flash from the market. Video from the above link (sony) plays but my audio is weird as well. I tried this on 3g though not on wifi.

ive been running fpse without any issues everyonce in awhile when im playing einhainder it turns into wireframe mess but restarting it usually fixed it. on psx4droid it always lagged way to bad.
Hi I'm new here so i apologize if I have posted this in the wrong spot or if there is already a post about this (i checked and couldnt find one) Anyways, i'm having an issue with my SGS4G that drives me INSANE. It happens often. I will be texting or browsing the internet or something and the green arrow pointing up on the 4G symbol freezes. Once that happens im not able to do anything: send texts, load anything, use internet (pretty much anything consisting of data). I actually experienced the problem trying to load up XDA. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks.

i encounter that problem a number of times on the 4g connection. using edge never experiences the problem and i can also remedy if i switch networks.
Are you using Mobile AP by any chance when it happens? I've had my data freeze completely after a good amount of use via Mobile AP. Other than that I haven't noticed any issues.

Mine is doing the same thing it is very annoying :'( since I have started using the Bali 1.4uv kernel it happens less frequently. Now when it freezes I click back then reload the page i was on to resume browsing

Hey guys, i need advice. I got my headset exchange last night and ive been using it and ive already experienced the same issue. I checked what Mobile AP was and no i have never used that feature. Read up on the g2x lately. It is having lots of issues for lots of people. Tmo even pulled it off their website due to problems with alot of those phones. Random reboots, screen issues like light bleeds and discoloring, and other issues. Some are happy with the device with few of these issues others have had multiple exchanges and still report problems.
They say the gingerbread update will fix some of these when it comes out. I doubt it will fix the screen issues tho. That just sounds like an LG hardware defect. Bottom line do some reading before jumping on the LG g2x bandwagon.

So ive noticed a couple of huge flaws with jelly bean so far a d have not been able to find or figure out the solution. Firat off my screen lags horribly when my keyboard comes up, especially while trying to send text messages. Secondly, graphics intensive games seem to be sped up too much.

I had problems with my WiFi. It showed connected but I could not actually get browser to work or send or receiveany data. I did a factory reset (after backing up) and it worked. I tried some WiFi fixer apps with no luck.

Thats odd, my wifi signal appears stronger following tbe update. Dont know if it actually is or not, I never did any benchmark tests on wifi on 4.0. Im glad your problems got resolved though, hope the reset wasnt too much of a burden

I've got one. When I use Google play music using tbe headphone jack, the first song i play works fine. (meaning it plays through whatever i have it plugged into, i. e., headphones, car speakers) But as soon as the next song comes on it bypasses the jack and plays out the phone's speakers. Im running stock rooted K3. only happens on that app. ive uninstalled and reinstalled. ive done a hard reset. Any ideas? thanks much. Oh yeah, when the second song plays through the speakers if I pause and play it then goes through the jack.

Unfortunately this has been a bug since the first Jelly Bean leak.
You can try enabling "Audio Output Mode" in Settings > Accessories, but I've not personally tried that. I only heard of it as a suggestion.
You could do what I did and put all your music on your phone and use PowerAMP. I know its kind of silly that simple audio output doesn't work but that's the way it is. You could also switch to an AOSP ROM to correct it.

I have a problem with the when playing music or using music apps and or watching YouTube, the audio Is a little sketchy, the audio is OK when I leave it alone, but when I use the phone like for example looking at my text messages browsing the web or using apps, the music starts skipping like a scratched CD, is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Or just gets really annoying, thank you for you're time and anyone Gerry back to me as soon as possible.

This is present in all ICS and JB roms as far as I know. I believe is something that can't be easily fixed like the 720p and the HDMI out. Not 100% but I'm sure I've read this before somewhere
Edit : and also I read a while ago that MAYBE is because the music is put at such low priority that it might be the reason of the skips. But again I'm not sure and you should have posted this in Q&A.
