[THEME GOOGLE KEYBOARD] RIT Themes for Google 4.2 Keyboard v2 by JBEITEL 11/13/12 - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Here are some color themes for the 4.2 Google Keyboard. They are actually nicer looking than my samsung keyboards because I learned how to do .9.pngs so the silver button trim is no longer stretched. These go great with my Ultimate Real Icon Theme. I will eventually build them in to that Aroma installer as well.
This is an Aroma Installer and works on both CWM and TWRP.
Grab them here:
Go Here
This second link, v2, has the keyboard included with the themes:
(this now goes to my landing page, hoping for ad cash. Just click on S3 Phone)

Here are some screen shots from Beans Rom:

Well, hopefully this makes some people happy as I have had requests for these.
These use the same button as my other glass themed keyboards and dialers. Thanks to Mcluvn for the original button.

Google Keyboard
Well, after some requests, I finally got the 4.2 google keyboard themed. It is not in the aroma installer yet but can be found here...

Is the actual keyboard included?
Shh! maybe I'm just paranoid, but I think people are listening....

Thanks, sweet, it looks and works great. You ROCK.

there isn't a blue apk, there is only the 4.2 keyboard with vrthemes 'injected' into it. As long as you are using the 4.2 keyboard, you should be fine with it.

have you picked the google keyboard under settings/language and inpur, or are you on the samsung keyboard still? i have another link for the samsung keyboard. Also if you are using TWRP, try using CWM. I havent had any issue installing these and I have tested all of them so I suspect it is one of those options.

I have the Google keyboard selected. I am suspecting twrp to be the culprit.

if you download ez-recovery from the market, you can jump back and forth between twrp and cwm in a second from within the rom. dont even have to change to recovery to do it.

Anyway to get this to work on my vzw galaxy nexus....I'm running the new 4.2 keyboard. I tried to install with tarp and no difference, only get one keyboard option.

this is a galaxy s3 mod, sorry.

This works great with Domination ROM for the tmo gs3 thanks bro

Ummm....
I installed your RIT v8 Bean Universal-signed.zip and everything worked and looks superb. I then installed RIT Google Keyboard-Aroma v2-signed.zip choosing Red and I have four options:
Android keyboard (checked by default)
Google Voice typing
Perfect keyboard free
Samsung (checked by default)
Choosing Samsung does nothing, choosing Android keyboard hangs up all the time and doesn't give the keyboard for typing and Perfect keyboard free does nothing as well. Everything went through without a hitch using CWM but something didn't seem to stick. Am I missing something here?
Added:
I did install Ultimate Real Icon Theme v U16-signed.zip but had to revert back to a previous backup b/c something was wonky as heck. So now you know where I'm at.

what do you mean of google keyboard? does it mean android keyboard too? i flashed the v1 of the blue theme cause i have already the android 4.2 keyboard. after reboot no mod on my keyboard theme. How's that?

Maybe some clarification on installation would help. NO wiping no nothing? Fix permissions? I like the looks of this theme but I have been running into some weird problems.
I flashed recovery via 1-click NVflash. I have since been flashing ROMS and such just fine, everything works fine and I get all the features.
But what I dont get is the modified launchers. I still have the stock AOSP launcher. Even after I flash eagles blooed I get the black notifications bar and features but no sense-like launcher. Now when I flash this theme I get the same thing. All the other features other than wallpaper change and launcher change...
Anybody help me out with what I am doing wrong?
I have tried a few combinations of wiping and fixing permissions with no avail.
Thanks!

You need to download your own apps and do your own customizations...
LauncherPro with the Sense theme (both can be found on the market)
Its just a simple theme everyone. Changes the status bar and adds the keyboard.
Gotchya, thanks. I thought the themes actually included the real launcher, not a themed one. My favorite is the Xperia Launcher... wonder where I can get that.

From what I understand porting launchers from one manufacturer to another isn't easy. Your best bet may to find a theme, but that won't give you what you want.
The keyboard is completely awesome.
I don't know why I thought I'd get the LG widget, though. Anybody got a link to where I can get it? Thanks in advance.

Yes I did hear that a team was working on porting sense to the galaxy s line, but I didn't keep up with that project. Never heard that someone was working on the Xperia launcher. I haven't personally used it but everything I've read about it makes me think it would be pretty cool to have.
My fiancee has the Galaxy S 4G so I guess I should keep up with what goes on with Galaxy S phones now. LOL

I just flashed and my clock is still blue?
In AOKP, you have the option of manually setting the color of the clock, so to make it match, simply head to rom control and set the clock color to hex #9e0000, then tap the new color box to set it.

Hmm...I use Team Rogue CWM as well and it works fine. I'll try out b28. As a test, you can take my zip and remove systemui and framework. if it boots, then roman has changed something in the rom, and i'll make it top priority to make my theme compatible.

Build 28 support posted. Had to remove LatinIME support as new keyboard FCs after compile. I'll continue to work on a solution, as well as add new themed apps to incorporate.
So I flashed the new version for B28 and installation went just fine
It's really looking great. However the power menu vanished wich is a little weird and I was unable to set the clock color to red in rom control (I read the FAQ )
Keep up good work!

I created this because there is one floating around here on the forums that is actually a fake jellybean inverted apps flashable .zip this one is completely real. I compiled this file myself and contains the latest G apps and inverted jellybean apps. This should work on all devices but use at your own risk. This is for CM 10 and AOKP JB only.
Disclaimer:
I am not responsible if you do not read this OP and break your phone. If your significant other leaves you because you become more addicted to your phone. If you wake up one day as a black and white speckled jellybean.
I present to you....JustinBean Aroma JB
Directions:
I recommend a full wipe but only if its your first time using JustinBean Aroma.
Install the jellybean ROM of your choice
Open up the JustinBean aroma file within cwm.
Wipe Cache within the JustinBean aroma application. (If you are using a new kernel select option three wipe cache and kernel)
Install what you want
Finish running installer then you have the option to reboot or go back to clockwork mod.
Installer will wait 30 sec before rebooting this is to ensure that everything is installed fully.
Enjoy and please don't forget to use the thank you button.
This is a custom installer that will allow you the user to choose which converted applications you would like to install. The choice now is completely up to you you can pick one to all none it's completely your choice. This is a completely touch process where you touch the screen to choose which you would like to install. You can install the latest launchers you can also install app add-ons such as ES file explorer.
Note:
If you are experiencing touch screen issues please use your volume up and down keys as well as the power button to select your options. Since this is a universal app there is only so much one can do to make it universal for all. You may also press your menu button when inside of the installer for a touch screen config for the app (though this feature is still not guaranteed to work). You will be able to launch my file manager directly from the application while inside clockwork mod this is for advanced users only.

[MOD][APP] CM10.1 messaging app [Updated 2/22/2013]

I didn't like the emoji icons in the stock messaging app, so I changed them. This was pulled from the most recent CM10.1 nightly (cm-10.1-20130219-NIGHTLY). I didn't fix anything as far as the way the app functions, I just changed the way the emoji are displayed. Tested on CM10.1 ONLY. May work on other JB ROMs. Let us all know.

My first theme release in a while..this is for Nitros Eclipse BLUR ROM on the Moto X.
What is themed:
Contacts.apk
Dialer.apk(Made Darker)
DocumentsUI.apk (Inverted by me)
SystemUI.apk
Settings.apk
Calculator.apk
framework-res.apk
Keyguard.apk
LatinImeGoogle.apk
framework2.jar
I have themed just about everything in these apks with my own pngs as well as custom Eclipse branded icons. Some of these apks were based on Nitros inverted ones.
There are only a few things to note:
-The settings screen on DocumentsUI is not inverted.
-The settings screen in Contacts is not inverted.
-Due to some images residing in Active Notifications, a couple of the lockscreen icons (Google, A.N.screen lock) are not themed. I decided not to even try to change them because of (1) The fickle nature of that app and (2) because Moto frequently updates it.
-I did not theme Text messaging,Calendar or Email because (1) I don't use them (2) a lot of the framework images will theme them.
I probably will atempt them later as well as Gallery..once I figure out a Moto coding error.
-The small numbers on the keyboard may get themed once I figure out how to get apktool to play nice with the Google Keyboard. Once installing the theme, any of your keyboard settings will have to be re-done (Vibrate, etc.)

This theme works for me. Flash at your own risk.I am not to be held responsible for damaging your phone.
USAGE POLICY:**Feel free to use anything that I have made in this theme for any other project . All I ask is you please credit me in your OP
I have not tested this theme on SS or any other recovery besides TWRP..but seeing as my updater is basically the same one I have used since JB on the Bionic/RAZR with SS,I think it will.
Download from the link below to your SD
Reboot into Recovery
Install .zip from SD card
No need to wipe caches, script will do it for you.

Links are live...but I wouldn't use ART..as far as I know,it isn't supported on Eclipse_BLUR
Do you have plans to build this for other phones? I have been following your progress on this, and I'd love my Galaxy S3 to look this way.

Not sure..I suck at theme manager! In the past with my S4,I would stay on a Carbon nightly for awhile and just theme the apks for myself.
Looking good Jay glad you chose to release it
Working great and looking awesome. Thanks for this!

any chance you can make a flashable zip to change back to stock. Or should i just pull those apk's off before i flash and then replace them if i want to go back to stock?

Love the theme. Signal and Wi-Fi icons are little hard to see but great work.
A little something

How do you mean? Invert or chrome themed? I haven't looked at inverting it and TBO doesn't seem to like having their inverts redistributed so...Maybe.No promises though.

I'm not picky sir. Which ever is easiest. I'm trying to remove as much white background as possible. If you can great but please don't stress it
