4. Can I flash custom kernel ?
- yes you can flash any custom kernel for latest CM11
5. How to enable ART ?
- SystemSettings - Developer option - Select runtime - choose "ART" , NOTE !!, make sure you are still in stock kernel sir arco, flash custom kernel you like after ART
6. Why I cannot install a normal APK ?
- turn off HALO first everytime you want to install normal APK.
7. How to turn off/on HALO ?
- press HALO button in status bar expanded header
8. How to disable/resize Navigation Bar ( softkeys ) ?

Maybe answer is CM11-FAQ:
"I heard on KitKat the statusbar is transparent. Why not in this rom?"
We have enabled the low_ram token by default. This disables the transparent effects and saves ram. If you want the statusbar transparent, open your appdrawer and choose ariesparts. Now go to "Enable/Disable Low Ram" and press the switch button, reboot and done!

I know it's not generally allowed to ask for this, and dev would be wasting time with this, but a mirror would be nice since 4shared is way too slow for me.

Q: Does ART work?
A: No. It only works on odexed ROMs. This one is deodexed.
Q: What is the format for setting the custom clock?
A: Use [H] for hours, [M] for minutes, and for seconds. Here are some examples for 2:07 (+ 5 seconds):
HH:MM = 02:07
HH:MM:SS = 02:07:05
H:MM = 2:07
HH = 02
H = 2

M = 7

Q: My benchmark scores are lower than when I used _________.
A: That's nice, but it doesn't mean much. As long as the speed of the phone is to your satisfaction everything is working as it should. Benchmark scores are used to show off if anything. Now you may be asking, "Why don't benchmark scores mean anything?" Well it's because there are so many factors that can alter a benchmark score that it makes them unreliable as a performance indicator.

Q: How can I help with this ROM?
A: Rating the thread 5 stars helps a lot. I don't really need testers, but would prefer to have someone in addition to myself try to port some mods over to the ROM. For example, if someone in the thread wanted a launcher with different modifications, I wouldn't really have the time do it it all by myself. People who contribute apps, themes, etc will have their mod listed under "Downloads" and will have their name in the credits.

Did this version have issues with Bluetooth? I haven't been keeping up with the international version of things.. I know the latest OTA from at least Verizon included a very important fix to Bluetooth connectivity..

Steps for a successful boot and good experience
(no matter if you're new to this ROM or flashing updates)
1. Make sure you're using the latest recovery for your device

2. Download the latest update for your device
(either check http://download.dirtyunicorns.com or hit the TEST Builds tab HERE and find the latest)
3. Move anything that you think is important over to your Desktop or upload it to dropbox or whatever (pictures, music, etc)
4. Backup your apps via Titanium backup or equivalent app and either upload them to dropbox or onto your Desktop
5. Reboot into recovery
6. Wipe everything. This doesn't mean just system or factory settings. This means EVERYTHING!
Tap on Wipe/Advanced Wipe and check the following and swipe to wipe
- Dalvik Cache
- Cache
- Data
- Internal Storage
- System
- MicroSD (some devices don't have this option)
7. Move the ROM zip over to your sdcard either by mounting USB storage or adb
8. Flash the ROM zip
9. Let it boot
10. Reboot back into recovery
11. Flash whatever GAPPS (as long as it's 4.4.X)
12. ENJOY!!

I may not always have time to check this thread. I usually stay on top of things, but real life happens. When reporting bug's, or requesting new features, the best way to make sure your heard, and a sure fire way to get things done is using our Jira site. There's always someone monitoring this, so if I'm tied up, there's a good chance that by reporting here, your issues will be resolved quickly. Remember, before you post anything, take into consideration what your issue is. Could it be a gapps issue? Are you running a different kernel than the one provided that could be causing problems? Are you running any unsupported Xposed modules? If not, use this tool to your advantage and make life easier for us all! You need to create a simple user name and password to access the site. I am on sprint and havent received an incoming call to verify, but I have an issue hanging up an ended call, it freezes for about 20 sec's or longer and then I have to close it and clear recents.

Installation instructions​
INSTALLATION:
1- Untick reactivation lock in security settings
2- do a EFS backup
3- check the MD5 of your downloaded X-Note rom zip
4- reboot recovery
5- wipe data is REQUIRED otherwise you will have errors (don't do other wipes)
6- install zip and choose the rom in your sd
7- power off after installation, remove battery (NO REBOOT)
8- reboot system.
9. Before asking, look at my videos (see above) on HOW-TO use xnote app and x-transformer app
10- done, have fun

This is just AWESOME... X-Note was my favorite ROM for my Galaxy Note 3 (Snapdragon) now I have a Note 4 (Exynos) and I thought I wouldn't see X-Note again.

Depends on you You can use any n910c kernel i am on stock one right now ?
Aosp theme you will have to download from XNote App ?
But it works perfectly ? and full multidpi finally on N910c

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and are addressing. For now, after you've changed the density -- reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

You can flash any custom kernel. you want, it’s your device, but know that Custom kernel is not supported by me or du. If you use it, you are on your own and do not report issues to me:good:
