I will be in Argentina for the month of December (dancing tango) and will be taking my note 10.1. I am wondering where to get the correct adapter that will replace the part in my power brick. Thanks for any help

The power brick is able to accept 110V-220V. So as long as prongs line up to the socket your good to go, if argentina has different prongs then youll have to get an adapter so your power brick can plugged into the country's socket outlet.

Hey guys, I live in the U.S. and am extremely dissappointed by the Euro socket charger for the HTC desire. I need a United States wall socket for it, and cant find it online. Does anybody know where I can find one? Thanks in advance.-rs0cal
As it's USB, you can just buy a standard international adapter with various socket/plug fittings

mine came with a US socket, don't know if it's because mine is from Telstra (US 3G version). i'd go to BestBuy or TMobile as well; they sell aftermarket USB wall power units.
And I am from EU, and mine came with US plug
Funny things happen..
Yeah i guess so. Its a A8181 from Mexico I think, since the box is all written in spanish.
Will do, I'll check out my local T-mobile for socket options. Thanks all'.
I got a charger with the option to change plug. Which is nice.
Sent from my HTC Desire
Mine also comes with the USB plug adaptor and two slot ons, one for the UK/Ireland and one for US.
Strange your one not coming with one.
i got a telstra one also and it only came with the aussie plug for the ac adapter
as in it was in 3 pieces, some sort of universal usb adapter brick, a usb cable, and the plugin piece that slides onto the usb adapter brick, and the sline in plug piece is aussie only, came with nothing else.
so i gotta charge it via computer usb for now til i buy something else...
Well there's always the chance that those of us on here who don't travel may be up to just posting over the part that is needed....3-4 quid postage is nothing after all for helping out a fellow XDA member.
Both my last phone and pda came with a power adapter that has a clip-on part for the wall pins. However, only 1 one of them came with a europe adapter.
I'm trying to find somewhere to buy a second europe component, but I don't actually know how to describe it for a search engine. Daft, I know.
Can anybody help me out? Thanks

could u try this way?
As for the wifi. The problem is not the ROM. It is because the patch
antenna is inside very close to the board and TV, and noise from TV is
hurting the signal strength.
Now if you take the case off the ug802 you will see the patch antenna
taped to the inside cover with a VERY long wire! Almost 1 foot wire
length.
You can pull out the patch antenna and reclose the case. Now antenna
can be placed much farther from the ug802 and TV and gets much better
signal."
seller sold knowing of wifi issues and continues to sell the item
will issue refund, too bad it costs more to send back to china then
buy another product.
then, why would i want to trust a guy that just cheated me?

And someone who told you to void the warranty by opening the case?
I had wifi issues but my solution was installing finless 1.4 custom rom, I then plugged it in to the apple ipad 10w usb charger and now my wifi works most of the time. I also have a logitech powered usb hub for my mouse and keyboard so it doesnt strain internal usb.
Not sure if this will work for all but worth a shot. I think the supplied usb power adaptor is not giving the right amount of power causing the unit to do random errors especially with wifi.
Power supply?
I had the problem that the wifi wouldn't work at all. Often it wouldn't find the wifi hardware. I then realized this only happened when I plugged it into the supplied power supply. I tried another power adapter that I had from a phone and it works fine. Not tremendous, but certainly well enough to use.

I think there are online auction sites like amazon and ebay have wireless charging option. but I think you need to be careful as there are configuration that is needed for it to work.

Seconded - moving from wireless charging on my Note 2 is the only downside to my upgrade. Can anyone confirm if there ar the necessary prongs inside the case...?

I can say that there cant be done to the device as of this time, maybe samsung will do the tweak in the future..
Few days after update to android 10 i started to have notification saying usb connector disconnected and connected without any cable being attached to phone. Its going in loop...flickering from disconnected to connected erc.
As well i have issues with genuine samsung headphones that were included in box... they do not work anymore.
All happen right after update....
Is this a hardware issue or software bug?
Anyone can help?
I did factory resset....even my battery is not holding up well...
All good on my end, potentially hardware damage..
Take it to Samsung you still should have warranty

I'd recommend getting magnetic USB-C cables for that matter. I've bought one (actually three but only one with the magnet) from AliExpress with PD-capability (they cost around 10€ for cable and magnet combo, 7€ for the cable and 4€ for the magnet itself) and I'm totally satisfied with them. I only have to unplug them if I e.g. use my wired headphones for telephony (since my bluetooth headphones have got a bad mic) and flashing updates/rooting via Odin (because they only support USB 2.0 speed standards).
