[Q] Best ROM + kernel for battery

What do you think? What's the best choice?
Thanks for all answers.
EDIT:
No sense rom plz ;p
hi i 've try the miui last version(official kernel), paranoidandroid v20 (official kernel) and the vipers 1.4.1 (sebastian kernel), and the winner is ......
:good::good::good: VIPER ROM !!!!!!!
U could use kernel tuner to change ur governor to a more battery saving setting. Like conservative for example.
Heres the link if u dont have it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1719934

+1 on Paranoid v.20
Seems like a pretty good ROM - better experience than bruce's november-builds.
I wonder if v.21 is worth the update. No issues so far, just slow until I changed the governor from ondemand to badass.
*edit*
Actually, turns out v.20 was still painfully slow after running a few apps. Just upgraded to v.21 - it has been running perfectly so far.

[Q] Hi! Im a New member

Hi! , I´m a new member of this forum, Im an htc sensation experienced user
Im s-off, Supercid, and I had the Elegancia Sense 4.1 v2.3.1 Rom with sebastian kernel
But I tried the Elegancia 4.1 V3.0.0 , but I feel a poor battery life.
Then I went back to restore my Elegancia 4.1 v2.3.1 backup , but with a Single Day of use, I got a wifi error, then I flashed again the Pegasus sense3.6. and i got back my wifi.
My question is , Wich of the kernels has a better battery performance with the Elegancia sense 4.1 V.3.1.0 ???
and with no wifi errors ...
PS
Sorry But Im a new forum user (less than 10 posts), so that´s the reason of posting in this section....
Thanks in advance

I have used faux and sebastian kernel with 3.0.1, but I have no wifi error, and good battery performance.
Currently I testing the latest faux 10b8.
Make a full wipe, flash elegancia 3.0.0, kernels which are possible to choose in Aroma are: bricked, sebastianFM, faux and PYD-X.
For me all of them are very stable, but some people day that - sebastian FM and bricked are most stable with the best battery life. Faux and pyd are better if talking about performance. I use PYD-X - battery life and performance are both amazing IMO.
Remeber that after flashing new kernel you gotta give it few charging cycles to settle.

[Q] Kernels & Team Venom ViperXL 2.4.1 Question

Ok People,
I have the HTC One X AT&T I have installed Team Venom ViperXL 2.4.1 Sense 4.1.
My question is this,
Which Kernel should i use for better performance?, Better Battery?
I once tried installing a different kernel and OC'ed once i did that i got stuck in a boot loop.
Also i am not familiar with Under Voltage,
Can Someone who has the HTC One X AT&T and Venom ViperXL 2.4.1 Rom installed with different Kernel tell me what kind of setting you are using. OC? UC? and OV? or UV? that are stable and giving you good performance and battery
let me know
Thanks
I use elemental underclocked to 1.35

what about under voltage and over voltage?
and you running under-clocked at 1.35 does that mess with performance at all? and how the battery life?

Thx 954wrecker :good:
It comes down to trial and error since each phone reacts different to certain settings. I tried different speeds and I honestly can't tell the difference between 1.3 and 2.0 on battery or on speed.

Ok i am having a problem here.
i downloaded and installed Elementalx kernel
Now stuck at Viper Boot Screen since 20 minutes
what do i do now?
I do have the stock kernel downloaded also i can go back to stock, but why Elementalx will not boot?
Not sure but both viper and elementalx have forums with questions and answers for issues like this. I never had problems so I don't remember the answers sorry.

how about Beast kernel, any good?
Try it, many people prefer it. Maybe you have issues based on the newer 2.2 firmware and hboot 1.14?

Elemental will work fine with viper 2.4.1 (but not Viper 3 jelly bean)
Did you try again? Maybe the installer didn't complete properly the first time.
Do you have hboot 1.14? It will try to install on hboot 1.14 and may take a long time. For some people it won't install on 1.14 and you have to fastboot flash.
But if you can install stock kernel from recovery, you can install elementalx from recovery.

Will you be making a compatible kernel for Viper XL 3.0 JB ? Been using your kernel on previous versions of Viper with good results. Thanks flar2

If battery is what you want BRICKED is the best and there's no discussion about it. I have tried every possible kernel, but have always come back to bricked.

+1 if talking about battery Bricked is the best. I use Pyd-x. Pretty good battery life & great performance. It all depends on device... Try and choose which suits better to your device
