Hello guys,
So I rooted my HTC Explorer and I installed a ROM, since I am getting a few troubles with several ROMS. I want to put everything to factory settings. Is that possible? If yes how can I put it?
Best regards,

There are two ways. The easy way or the hard way or another easy way. You could put the stock firmware on your sdcard. You can also flash it in fast boot or flash it with twrp.

First of all, when you download the firmware from asus, you have to extract the file named: US_epad-user-10.6.1.15.3.zip. place the extracted zip file on your 'SDCARD'. your tablet will find it and notify you. if it doesnt, restart the tablet.
Forgot to extract the zip first before putting it on thanks

Hi guys,
I was wondering if I should root my nexus 5... What advantages would it have over the unrooted phone apart from custom roms? Any special features?
Thanks!
No special features. But custom roms. Why wouldn't you root? My motto, if you can do it, do it. And put a recovery on.

One silly questions, if i then install a custom rom/ change rom, would all the data be erased?

If it were me, I'd root it, put on a custom recovery, and make a nandroid of it right out of the box. Then I could always go back to brand new easily. Right now there are no custom roms but that will change fast.

If you full wipe yes, but you can restore apps and app data with Titanium Backup or Helium.

Look in the development forum. Chainfire has a root method and cwm and twrp recoveries are there.

CF Auto Root is easy as pie, download and extract the right file, enable USB debugging on the phone, go into fastbootmode, connnect to the PC and select root.window.bat in the extracted file.

After you rooted install a custom recovery to make a nandroid backup and to be able to flash roms and kernels. First backup your apps and settings with TB or Helium.

You need to use a custom recovery to make a nandroid backup before installing a new ROM but yes, after you root, install a custom recovery, make a backup and copy it to a safe place that won't get wiped during ROM install, you are ready to play around. It is always a good safe practice to already have any necessary drivers on your computer so you can use fastboot to rescue your device if you make a mistake and brick it.

Look here for custom recovery`s http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/development and no you don`t need root for Helium backup.

Do a dirty flash (no factory wipe/reset) that will do it.

You don't have to do clean flash cuz you had already do that
